I had received a rejection (IND-417). After spending the afternoon trying to figure out what the issue was only to find out that there was nothing wrong with my return. Thank a lot TT. Even last year your program had glitches that I had to fix. I've been using TT for over a decade; next year I will use someone else. Bye TT. UPDATE: Rejected AGAIN. I won't use Turbo Tax again!

I am disappointed that this version of Turbo Tax did not import my information from my 2024 return. I have been using TT since 1985. It always imported personal information before. Also, when I imported Mutual Fund data from Quicken, it imported all the funds transactions, leading me to believe I owed $83,000+ in federal taxes. I had to delete forms and start over

I love Turbo Tax!! Easy to follow instructions, I like it tracks for errors and helps me fix them. It has help guides that are helpful. I Like everything about it, please don't make a lot of changes as it works perfectly for me. I have tried other Tax software and Turbo Tax is by far the best!! Thanks for making a great product.

I like the fact that T-tax keeps all my info from my previous return. I am accustomed to the question and answer method of inputting my w2s, 1099s, etc. However, I think that the company should offer discounts based on the number of years of customer loyalty. I literally get nothing. I don't even get a free state file. It seems like the cost rises, with no recognition for loyalty. I tried a free service online, and they had an easier upload option for many of the w2s and other forms I need to enter. I really liked that convenience. In the end I came back to T-tax because it is familiar to me. It is a very good product, but also expensive. I would give 5 stars if they showed some love for my loyalty.

Some entries in rental property, maybe other places, didn't have context menu selection of details. when transferring previous year to current, those details are really helpful as a reminder of what list of things to enter, dropping those would be a big loss. Feeling pushed to on-line version, I don't like that.

I found out that TurboTax 2025 was not compatible with Windows 10. After using a license code, I was not able, in my own to recover and reuse the license code. So, I called TurboTax Help. My license code issue was quickly resolved. I was able to continue on a new Windows 11 computer without incident.

On one section of the software, a box was already checked and the program would not let me delete it which caused a huge problem until I figured out how to call up the form then right click on the mouse and then found "override" and clicked on that so I could correct the software's mistake. Took a long time to handle that situation and I wasn't pleased.

We've used TurboTax Home and Business for at least 10 years now. The software has been very consistent and easy to navigate. It allows us to see how changes in inputs alter the bottom line. Keeping copies of the returns is very easy with this program. We had a state return rejected for e-filing because of the state software was needing an update. The program said come back, run a software update on this date, and resubmit the return. We did and it has been transmitted. The program has had much thought put into it. I generally fill in the Forms and then run the Step-by-Step interview as a check to make sure the numbers going in are correct on my part. It works for me. Although the program didn't point out that our Medicare Health Insurance premiums are deductible (there is a home business involved in the return), the program was 100% ready for us to fill in Form 7206. It was like it is just waiting to help us get a large tax deduction. That saved us quite a bit on this year's return. We like the forms being included, and it's ready for any tax situation we could throw at it. Bravo, TurboTax. Well done.

Mostly I tried to use the help assistant and it usually provided useless information unless I managed the magic words. Generally ok if you know the form that something might be in and then you can jump there. The program is generally slow (partly by outdated computer), and I did have a glitch where TT froze and I had to restart because I didn't want to connect to the internet for an update check at the beginning of the session. And the "assistant" is very fond of commas as I was typing this... The import from financial institutions is very helpful as it would take forever to key all that information in. The post-process review prior to filing is also good. Finally, the text notification of the process of the return and acceptance for review is nice to know. I have not used the live chats or professional assistance this year, but I expect it to be acceptable if needed.

I will always be upset with Intuit/TurboTax for ending It'sDeductible. Would've been 4 or 5 stars if you'd kept It'sDeductible. Useful product, but you killed a piece that made TurboTax unique. Some of us really do donate a lot of things. And some of us really do rack up the deductions higher than the newly raised Standard Deduction.
