I like the info brought forward from previous years returns, the guide if you need it, and the check for errors or omissions feature. I am familiar with tax returns, but I would think 98% of American household culd effectively use TurboTax to file their returns. I have been a faithful user for 20 plus years.

I have used TurboTax for over 20 years and have always been happy with how it works ant its accuracy. Considering the complexity of completing one's tax returns (federal and state) having the TurboTax Interface guide you along is the best approach, short of paying an accountant to do your returns. The only disappointment was the removal of the Its Deductible software. I have not found a comparable substitute for it.

As compared to prior years, not so impressed, especailly with the filing of my state return.. In prior years, if I selected hard copy submission, the return would be prepaed for this method to include mailing addresses and guidance on the mailing process. I am not sure I have printed the correct from forms for state reporting. I believe the only reason this was the case is so Turbo Tax could push e-file for a fee on me.

I was really disappointed in the 2025 version of TurboTax. I have relied on the program for preparing my own tax returns from the first year it came out. This year was a major disappointment. That is not to say that there were some welcomed improvements and refinement. But, I found mistakes and things the program should have caught, but didn't. I had to carefully review all of my "File" manually to fix many omissions and mistakes, because the program either missed those items or provided a misleading prompt (particularly in the Business income are with regard to mineral royalties). It is also still incomplete with how it handles K-1 (tax sheltered investments). And, I hated having to log into my Intuit account, just to download the 1099 data from my investment companies. Worse, it showed that my 1099-DIV documents had downloaded, but they never showed up on the return, forcing me to execute the entire download process again. That part used to be easier and it never failed like it did this year. I have questions and I have lost confidence in the program. I fear what AI enhancements may to to future versions. Please don't mess up something that used to work so well. I still recommend it, but with a lot of caveats.

I had a problem with an up date that was taken care of promptly. The rest of the tax return was easy to do. With the standard deduction as high as it is, it would be nice to have an option to do the standard deduction without entering all of the deductible items.

This year there was a bug in the software - It kept unchecking my single status upon review. I finally had to go to Forms to check single and save - after I did that - the review succeeded and I was able to E-file the Federal return. This occurred several times during the preparation of my return

Would be good to have a fully working version ready (or at least some preliminary version of the software) at the beginning of the year. I purchased TurboTax 2026 in Jan 2026 because I urgently needed to do estimations for my 2026 tax return (required for some of my applications). Surprisingly it appeared that some of important sections in the purchased software did not work at all so that I had to do everything manually. Required updates became available only in mid February. For the future versions it would be really good to have a fully working version at the beginning of the year .

I have been using and filing my taxes with TurboTax for many years now. It makes the process so easy and clean and efficient. I use the Home and Business version and I have neveer had a problem. I am grateful for what Turbo Tax offers. Keep us h good work!

Mostly helpful, did not like having to enter and repeat banking information for refunds, this could have been imported from last year's return and a simple confirmation of the same, unless a change was desired, is preferred. Another way to reward repeat customers.

it doesn't let you import w2's like it use to. It should allow the same basic functions that a tax preparer software has. It should auto fill the state information on the w2 so you don't have to keep adding it manually. I think this was the worse year that I have used your software. No that is not a challenge to make it worse next year. It should transfer your child's information to the state 529. it should allow copy and paste. All basic functions are not an option
