I have been using TT for over 20 years. Everything transfers great even depreciation items. but this year I couldn't find the save return tab.....so I'm assuming it saves on its own.

OMG it starts off easy enough but if you stop and try to get back to where you left off its a loop somethings change, it repeats questions you've answered. So unnecessary and disappointing.

1) I was filing an old return which can not be e-filed anymore. Turbo Tax Desktop should have allowed me to download the software for multiple states (and I was happy to pay for these) but no state could be downloaded for 2nd state, as the system repeatedly failed to connect online and take payment. 2) There should be a master sheet or Table of Contents, which shows you where in the grand scheme you are; otherwise you can feel you are going in circles sometimes. 3) Too rigid overall.

It is appalling that I paid for a one-time license to use this software, with a local copy stored on my computer, and I cannot even open files older than three years to print them. That is not the agreement under which I purchased the software, and it is unacceptable for taxes where retained access is crucial. I will not be buying your product again in the future.

I purchased tlurbotax and wanted to use annually. However, your continued attempt to sell me some person who has not seen or know of my tax situation is stupid and an attempt to hide what you are and that is more concerned about how much money you can generate vs having forms competed and system functioning well. You need to fire your product manager and the head of IT for your program. It is terrrible. I will not continue to be taken advantage of by you and your alleged product. One time at end do you want to pay for some assistance would be more than adequate.

I love TurboTax Home & Business software. I have been using for 5 years now and it's so easy to use. Just answer yes or no and input income information from your business docs or W-2. I love the smart check feature which checks your returns for errors. My refund has never been denied or delayed.

The very first time I opened TurboTax to work on my tax filing prep, the very first task I came to was the W2/1099 NEC/1099 MISC. The instructions were wrong, telling me to input each date I paid out a subcontractor, even though I had paid out the same subcontractor 28 times in 2025. Secondly, there was a link right below the 1099 NEC "see an example". When I clicked on it a window opened that stated "there is no content to the context" Bogus!!!

I found out that TurboTax 2025 was not compatible with Windows 10. After using a license code, I was not able, in my own to recover and reuse the license code. So, I called TurboTax Help. My license code issue was quickly resolved. I was able to continue on a new Windows 11 computer without incident.

Turbo Tax Federal is straight forward and easy to understand. I let it go through everything and I fill in the blanks. The State of Maine part not so much. It says you can file for $20 and after all is said and done they hit you up for another $40 processing fee

Not always easy, and then when I tried to file I was told I needed to update. I should have been told that when I opened the program. Then I has to go through a bunch of screens to file again. TurboTax seems to lose functionality every year, but it should be the other way around. I'm about ready to try something else.
