This is only a do it yourself project if you’re familiar with reading and understanding instructions. My husband and friend wanted to put it together. It took two weeks for them to do it. I would have had it installed but they said they could. Too many pieces and if you’re in your 70s definitely have it done.

Excellent product. Parts easily numbered. well packaged. Directions were great, but using the Bilt app made directions even more clear. It took 5 hours to open the packages and sort out boards and hardware. The inventory list in each box is helpful. Extra screws, nuts etc were provided. We did purchase heavier duty concrete anchors to use Beware that the blue plastic wrap took 2 people nearly 3 hours to peel off. Total build time for my son, with assistance from my husband was 12 hard hours (not including sorting and plastic removal.) The only step we differently was the roof. They had no available help to lift into place, so our son screwed the roof panels on from the top. He has quite a bit of building and ladder experience, and he's tall and flexible... it was no problem for him. We are very pleased! will be adding new furniture and lights soon.

Beautiful addition to our backyard but ordered and paid for a 12x14 and it measured 10.9x13.5…hummmm Also the grill cover was supposed to be 4x10 and it is 3.9x10.11. Hummmm. We are very thankful we paid to have Sam’s people put it together and they were wonderful. A lot of warped boards. Very surprised, Sam’ should be better than this or so we thought. Very disappointing about the sizing. Refund some?????

Nice gazebo overall. Assembly was a bit difficult due to several pieces of wood being warped. This definitely made the roof being a hassle to put onto the structure. Overall it is aesthetically pleasing but be aware of the mentioned issue and difficulty.

Nice structure but had to go buy rafter boards from our local lumber yard because they are too short. Upon looking at the reviews that are not 5 star-this seems to be a common occurrence. It is a decent deal but be prepared to buy extra parts and lumber. We followed all the instructions to a T with all the parts. Bare in mind this wood is not treated so that is another thing you will need to budget for and do. I would say construction took a total of 20 hours. Maybe closer to 30.

cant seem to get this assembled even though I paid sams club $700 for installation. The place they contacted with the guy suddenly couldn't come and wanted to schedule me out weeks again. I then spent 3 hours on the phone with sams club customer service getting no where.

Bought the Gazebo last weekend ... Sat down to review the instructions before jumping into assembly and discovered that the only instructions are on an APP that I have to install on my Phone ... The only parts list I have found is on the App and to actually inventory the parts and make sure i have everything I have to click on each of the 95 little pictures, make note of the PN and count and then go sort through boxes ... I understand not providing a printed set of instructions, but at least provide a PDF so I can choose to print, or at have the option to view the instructions on a larger screen than my PHONE!!

I purchased a Backyard Discovery gazebo from Sam's about 5 years ago and I was very happy with the quality of the product. Therefore I returned to the brand, even though there are plenty of other choices out there, some significantly cheaper. This time the quality is very disappointing. Hollow posts made of boards assembled together, one split throughout, and lots of bent, cracked or chipped boards. I would give less than 1 star if I could.

I spent 20 hours building and got to the roof portion. Everything sent to me was warped, some of the metal wasn’t even machine printed correctly, I can not recommend this to anyone. Largest waste of money I ever spent.

Get ready to place on brackets and only 2 in box ( suppose to have 4). Have to drive 30 minutes to club and sale associate acts as tho we are lying. He commnets they dont have anymore in stock..there were 6 in stock when we purchased the day before. Get almost completed only leaving roof. The rafters are 2 inches to short!! 😡Mishap on assembly during packing from company. It now has to be taken all apart and reassembled whenever we can get correct parts!!😡 Awaiting now for company to call us back!! My advice is to check box and measure at the club before ever leaving!!
