The side shelves can be placed up or down which is very useful for storing. The only issue I had was the instructions for assembling it are a little hard to understand in some spots but with a little thought you can figure it out.

I sent pictures to customer service, they said that this is completely normal. they told me to season it and it will be fine. I had it mostly together when my wife said that the surface shouldn't look like that. I'm worried that even if it looks fine after seasoning that the performance will be affected. Not too happy with customer service.

It’s seasoned perfectly when applying all the avocado oil and then when cooking the potatoes, the steaks and the asparagus on it it cooked too perfection. 100% worth it and in my opinion looks way better than a Blackstone

The cooking surface is so rough that everything sticks to it. We have had 3 previous Blackstones and they are fairly smooth and non stick if seasoned properly. The Nexgrill is so rough there is no way to make in none stick. We also have a non stick Magma griddle that is like dream, nothing sticks and you can clean it up with a paper towel.

It came broken, cheap wielding. I’ll have to DIY with gorilla tape, have not used the grill yet. Took me about 4-5 hours to assemble. Sam’s Club delivery was decent, be prepared to have another person help you. The driver was a female that opened the rear doors for me to get access.

The most frustrating part is that Sam’s Club still cannot arrange for a carrier to pick up the defective griddle. Three different carrier companies have been involved, and it is still sitting here. No rust warranty. As our blackstone that we had for 8 years started to look pretty bad. So far we love it. It cooks for all seven of us. And it claimed it only needed to be seasoned once.

A replacement part is being sent, but I will have to disassemble most of grill since the legs and wheels were applied early on in the assembly process (which took 4 hours). The griddle also has patchy areas on it. It appears as if the NitroGuard finish was not applied evenly. The grill was also missing part %2318.

Some parts need to be marked better but had no issue finding pieces based on pictures. Haven't used yet but so far very pleased with how it looks and the sturdiness of the grill.
