Generally clear although I had to look up a couple of topics (outside of Turbo) for additional explanation. It was difficult to submit while working on a laptop only screen. I had to wait until I got home and put it on my big screen, in order to be able to click the submit button. One state submission is advertised as being free, but it is not free.

TT for MAC TY 2025 . Opened TT. Opened TT file 1. Ran error check. No Errors. Duplicated TT file 1. Saved duplicate. Renamed duplicate to TT file 2. Exited TT. Next Day. Opened TT. TT update applied (3/27/26). Opened TT file 1. Ran same Error check. Error found in original TT FIle 1 (WAS NOT FOUND THE DAY BEFORE). Corrected error, Reran error check. No error found. Saved TT file 1. Closed TT. I expected to find same error in TT File 2. Opened TT. Opened TT file 2. Ran same error check. TT DID NOT FIND ERROR. Verified same condition that caused error with TT fIle 1 to be present in TT FIle 2. Very straight forward sequence of events. 1: TT missed elementary error Day 1 and found elementary error Day 2 after update. I didn't expect Intuit to be finding and correcting elementary errors which should have been caught in testing prior to release. 2: TT caught elementary error in TT FIle 1 but not in duplicate TT File 2. I expected TT error checking to be consistent between original and duplicate files. Confidence in TT / Intuit now LOW. Went though and reviewed all other data / calculations myself before submitting. Elementary error was Payer's TIN missing from one of my income Interest entries.

TurboTax created frustration in the process often when the situation slightly complicated. I have no choice to keep with TurboTax since it is the only software I have been used for many years. If you just are starting to pick the tax return software, I suggest you explore the different software before you lock with one app.

I have been using your program for years, the Schedule C, long forms and now your non long forms. This year with the changes , you have a lot more questions that I wasn't sure whether they were applying to my taxes. I researched and found a lot did not. I suppose this is the new changes that the government has made. ,

I really missed It's Deductible. The system you have now does not go into enough detail. It is almost not helpful. It is difficult to tell where the end of the list because the computer will jump to another place. A few times when I entered a new item the old listing remained. Why did you get rid of It's Deductible when it worked so well.

Turbotax totally botched my NYS tax. I filled in mid-Frebruary, supposedly after intuit corrected a major bug with the software. But my refund sat in limbo for over a month as not matched in the NYS tracking tool. I've filed an amendment over a month later, hoping the error is fixed and I can get my money.

Not as user friendly this year. Guidance has bugs that need to be fixed. One saying I had Canadian IRA and others saying I had to associate 1099-MISC with correct tax form. I had $.92 cents in this category. Not being able to correct this caused me to redo the taxes just to get the same error. Hours spent for nothing. I had to call and have someone screen share with me just to maneuver through your darn program. PLEASE change how you list and approach this next year.

Turbo Tax Sucked this year. I have used Turbo Tax for 6 years in a row and this is the 1st year that I had to enter all of my information manually. It would not import any of my docs and it was a pain in the butt!! Plus I had to buy a new computer because it will only run on Windows 11. Not Happy!!

Double counted my interest income. Through the normal query process I had to enter 3 1099-INT forms manually because the financial institutions (USAA, Cit Bank, and SoFi Bank) were not supported by auto importing. After finishing my taxes and when doing the final check for errors, Turbo tax asked me to confirm Box 1 figures for each of those 1099-INT forms. I assumed this was because I had to manually enter them (No Auto Import). When I entered the box 1 figures Turbo Tax doubled the interest (once for the original entry and then again for this final check). Some disconnect occurred in the programing causing this error. After I ran the program through this portion not once, twice or three time but on the 4th time for whatever reason the program did NOT ask to reenter the box 1 figures and I was able to escape this frustrating loop.
