i HAVE BEEN A TRUBO TAX USER BEFORE TURBO TAX WAS TURBO TAX. SOME OF THE CHANGES HAVE SLOWED DOWN THE TAX PREPARATION PROCESS AND IN FACT HAS MAD ME FILE AMENDED RETURNS FOR FEDERAL AND STATE. IN PREVIOUS YEARS QCD ENTRIES WERE A SIMPLE ONE BOX IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE ENTRY OF THE IRA'S. NOW IT CONTAINED IN A LISTING OF SEVERAL DIFFERENT ITEMS AND IS NOT READILY IDENTIFIABLE. NEEDS IMPROVEMENT. THERE IS A QUESTION ARE YOU A UNITE STATES CITIZEN with small question regarding living i income in a foreign country. a foreign country.. UNFORTUNATELY I CHECKED YES TO THE QUESSTOIN ARE YOU A UNITED STATES CITIZEN AND ENDED UP NOT PAYING TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY. THE WORDING MIGHT BE ARE A UNITED STATES CITIZEN AND DID YOU LIVE IN A FORIGN COUNTRY YES NO. ALSO FILIING A 1040 X IS NOT STRAIGHT FORWARD. WOULD BE EASISER TO BE ABLE TO SELECT A 1040X FROM LISTING OF FORMS AND IT WOULD BE POPULATED WITH THE CURRENT YEAR AMOUNTS ALREADY FILED THEN ENTER THE CHANGES. SIMILAR WITH PREVIOUS YEARS INPUT. CHANGES FOR ENTRY OF INTEREST, DIVDENDS IS REALLY SLOW TO GET TO THE RIGHT PLACE TO ENTER THE DATA. ALL IN ALL PREVIOUS GENERATONS HAVE BEEN BETTER FROM A USERS STANDPOINT.

I like using TurboTax. I've used this tax software for many years. I like the way it auto populates many topics and forms. I wish it would remember some things like information on the inherited IRA, and our ID information, because every year, I have to look that stuff up, even though, I've inputted it on every return for at least 16 years.

5 free efiles is not enough. I am not a paid tax preparer. I do all my families taxes, We live in a rural area and finding someone to do taxes without having to drive over 20 miles to get taxes done is a real burden, especially for seniors in winter. Please sell your software to allow for a minimum of 20 free e-files. I have been using your software for 3 decades.

I have been using Turbo Tax for years. The Step by Step process is so easy to use and I have never had any problems with Any of my returns. They have all been accurate as I have never been audited or questioned. I have never had a reason to want to try any other Tax Prep Program.

I am over 65 years old and eligible to withdraw inherited OPM payments since 2024 after my husband passed away. However, TurboTax added additional 10% early withdraw penalty of $1,192.50 to my total tax, resulted in tax due $1,370 instead of $178 tax owe. I would appreciate your help and provide the problem solving instructions. I have all other amounts matched up with TurboTax's figures, except the total tax. Thank you, Judy

The software has effectively identified and addressed any potential errors or omissions, giving me complete confidence that my deductions are correctly entered and that all required income items are properly reported.

Seem like Turbo Tax is slowly going backwards for explaining what is wanted for some lines on the tax forms. I opened one tab to gain some info or background to better understand what was wanted. It came up totally blank. Use to give Turbo Tax 5 stars but the past couple of years it has been losing my confidence.

I tried to pay with my refund, but it costs an extra $40, so that was a non-starter. I went back to use a credit card and it took forever to use various credits cards due to the fact a user is unable to select a month for the expiration date >8 (August). I have credit cards that expire on 12, 11 and 10. It was very frustrating.

I've been using Turbo Tax for years/decades now. As usual, Turbo Tax was easy t use and handled all of my needs perfectly. Thanks for providing such a useful and friendly software package. All five review topics were provided perfectly. I'll be using Turbo Tax software as long as you continue to provide it each year and I'm still doing our taxes myself. Thanks again.

I have used Turbotax for many years. It is generally very user friendly and always accurate. This year, however, it seemed to take longer, even though our return was simpler. I kept having to go to irs.gov to find where to enter things. I also did not appreciate the frequent ads to update or hire expert advice.
