There was a warning a yellow triangle but it did not tell me what the problem was and they could have made life a lot easier and the BIGGEST PROBLEM i have with turbo tax is that i can not go back to any of the prior year taxes because i purchased desktop and pull up that years taxes!! If you save them and lose the usb you basically have to get a transcript from the irs!! THAT SUCKS!!!

I been a long time user of turbotax. The same error message kept coming up when I made the corrections preventing me from e-filing. I couldn't find anyone to contact unless there was a charge for the service. It is disheartening that you buy the software and any other services there is a charge for it the price of state return,I thought it was a free e-file, when purchasing the turbotax software.

Too much marketing when first opened trying to sell assistance. Tech support is already included so why try to market more at the outset. Appears as though focus is more on marketing assistance than tax preparation. Have been using Turbo Tax for many years, this year not so impressed as QCD questions were eliminated and requiring tehnical support which was never needed before. Shame on the marketing greed?

The guidance throughout is excellent. Each year I do miss the spot where the IP Pin is input. Not sure if that is me missing it but it would be nice to have that come in the review of the form at the end. A simple question could be, were you issued a Federal IP Pin yes or no.

There needs to be a more friendly way to save each years' dcouments and a way to access them. Show prompts on how to do this for the confused user. I have used Turbo Tax software for many years. During tax time I need a prompt to guide me on how to store and access each years' Tax Return. Show overview and prompts.

I'm trying to print out the Estimated Tax Vouchers for 2026 and I have DO NOT FILE FORM NOT FINAL on them. I have tried accessing all of the Help topics but cannot seem to find the answer. My 2025 return has been e-filed and accepted by IRS using the Online version, but the forms are still showing this warning.

Overall, I would guess it's improved, but you still ask what I would call dumb questions, especially when you have access to last years return. It's annoying, and unsettling because I stop and wonder why you are asking that question. You have improved, you used to ask way more, but no dumb questions would be the goal. It also might be time to get AI help, because I use ChatGPT a lot, and find it amazing, even live changing. Having an AI option to ask questions with, might be a huge jump into the future for you. I would even pay a small premium to have access to that sort of feature/assistance and help.

2025 version is NOT as good 2024 version. Questions are not all that clear. When my return was rejected for using wrong AGI, do you think I could figure out how to find the box to input the correct AGI? Not on your life. Also since when do I have a separate AGI and my wife have her own AGI?? We were filing jointly, not separately. It seems that several of the items become hidden once they are input and impossible to find again. I was not impressed with the 2025 version;

I found this year's turbo tax not as user friendly as in past years. The search feature was not helpful when I asked a simple question as to whether or not I need to report my Roth contribution. I found the advice I needed by going directly to the internet. Also, I found your interface for energy tax credit problematic. I put in numbers that later needed to be corrected. However, the incorrect entries remained and the only way to delete/change was by going directly to the forms. Such inconsistencies can contribute to significant errors. Not sure if I'll use Turbo Tax in the future.

Got my 2025 Taxes, Federal & State finished, finally!! If you're drawing money from your 401-k and have created QCDs to reduce your taxable income, YOU WILL have a difficult time finding all the RIGHT boxes to check. You WILL have to go through all the steps at least 3-6 times! BEWARE: make sure you only have 1 version of the previous years taxes on your computer (I run simulations, to calculate next years taxes early, to determine how much to withdraw from 401k without going to the next tax bracket). If Turbo Tax grabs a "simulated tax return, not the actual 2024 Tax return, it uses those numbers for ALL your year to year comparisons. Very confusing, I tried to edit Turbo Tax history, wouldn't work!!
