I had listed my Connecticut State Income Tax refund when I did my income on the Federal Return; however, it was not carried over to my Connecticut State Tax Return! Also on the File by Mail Instructions for your 2025 Connecticut Tax Return (Page 1) it says write "2025 Form CT-1040" on the check. On the next page Form CT-1040 Required Fields, #11 it says write "2022 Form CT-1040"

Have used turbo tax desktop version every year since at least 2008. Love the guidance given as it walks you thru step by step. I did find the 2025 version seem to lack help/info on some screens. It would be great if the help icon was on every screen to explain what is being asked for. Most screens had this.

The system was user friendly. I was under the impression I would be able to upload several parts rather than typing in, but they were down until October of 2026 (filing in Feb). I also bought the desktop version thinking I would be paying all of my filing fees at that time. I still had another fee to e-file my taxes. Near the end, it mentioned I could use my federal refund to pay the $25 fee to file my state return, but then backed me out, and made me select a mailed check for state. I also had to start over 2 different times due to the desktop version crashing on my Macbook. Overall it isn't bad, but I'm not sure I will do the same thing next year.

It's a pretty good product. I've been using it for many years. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because I wish TurboTax had a message center where I could ask questions through the message center or email instead of having to take time out of my work day to place a phone call. I don't have time for that. Messaging or email would be much more convenient.

When I put in the information for my rental for the year, the program didn't take into account that I only offered the rental for 31 days. I had to enter the expense amounts only for the month that I rented this. The program asks for the number of day the property was offered for rent but does not use that in the calculation.

I have used Turbo Tax Deluxe for years. Solid product and mostly easy to use. This year seemed a little "clunkier" and due to ETrade/Morgan Stanley import I had to adjust so many things. That is not TurboTax's fault but I wish they had a better interface to find the discrepancies. It has been accurate for years. And the guidance is good if you use.

Overall I thnk the product is pretty good. It is pretty easy to use. I only had 1 issue regarding installation of an electrical charging station where it had an issue with the information I had provided and i had to repeat the input. otherwise it is good. The titles of some of your brokerages from previous years returns could be improved, cause it is difficult to determine which account is being referred to for brokerages that have multiple accounts under their umbrella.

TurboTax intentionally obfuscates the process, upcharges and upsells and every possible step, and forces its way into the tax paying process of millions of Americans every year unnecessarily. Tell your congress person loudly and often that the American consumer is being taken advantage of.

I imported Charles Schwab and Morgan Stanley information, and my Federal owed skyrocketed. Then later, it asked me to fill that information in manually. Then what I owed increased again! Did this income penalize me twice? How do I know that? Next year I will pay someone. I'm retired now, and this 14k tax owed is the largest of my life.

I have been using TT deluxe for like 25 years. This years interface was totally new and not all that friendly. I found myself going back to make sure I got everthing. On top of that almost every new section had another ad to upgrade to this or that. It seems like 20+ dialogs on one tax form to upgrade, until the very end and then they charged $25 to file state. I will consider a different product next year. I may still choose this but it has gotten totally away from what it used to be.
