The guidance throughout is excellent. Each year I do miss the spot where the IP Pin is input. Not sure if that is me missing it but it would be nice to have that come in the review of the form at the end. A simple question could be, were you issued a Federal IP Pin yes or no.

Never had a problem until this year. Have used Turbo Tax for years. Problem with Block 14 and 16 of 1099-R. Block 14 has a dollar amount, block 16 is blank. Turbotax says block 14 cannot be larger than block 16 and flags this as an issue that needs to be resolved before taxes can be transmitted. 1099-R is correct, as block 16 has always been blank in the past.

Vanguard info lists tax-exempt info for each state and U.S. Territories in percentages while Turbotax asks for dollar amounts. It would be nice if it could do the arithmetic for me. Also Vanguard lumps all US territories together whereas Turbotax asks for amounts for individual territories. I have to randomly pick one territory and apply entire amount for US territories to it.

This year's return was much more complicated than in past years. Very annoying at the beginning to bypass all the sales pitches before being able to enter information. Too many clicks to get to where you entered information in many of the sections.

The Donation section for household and clothing items offered very poor assistance with pricing. Prior years' Turbo Tax offered pulldown menus that listed categories which could be selected and provided estimated costs. We would definitely like to have that type of menu structure in future years.

A few glitches this year but overall excellent. The whole Canadian business regarding retirement was weird and it took going to the chat to get it cleaned up and removed from my return. I file very early so I guess it takes time for these things to show up???

Terrible product this year! I have been using this software for over 20 years. Kept looping when trying to do MO-PTC, software locked up when doing software updates. Took me 10 tries to file taxes-when I clicked the "Pay with Credit card" asked me to log in and then software just froze and shut down. I read online about clearing cache, cookies etc.-still no help. About the 10th time of the software just shutting down and reopening I just let it sit there (without clicking through all the same screens AGAIN to get to "pay with credit card" and after about 7 minutes the information screen for name and credit card info appeared. UGH After 20 years, not sure I will be your customer next year!

Filled out two returns. Other than transferring in from 2024, no problems on the first as I never made an error. The second one I did not answer correctly on RMD or on WI rent paid without heat. Took hours to correct RMD info and now showing up as pension instead of RMD. The WI $300 credit does not show up on return. So here I go again, trying to fix myself.

I wish you had offered a physical disk option like I have been using for years which allowed the current software to include the previous tax year's numbers for comparison. This 2025 tax year felt significantly more difficult for me to navigate for some reason.

The program itself is as good as always. my complaint is that you can't download to windows10. What the heck is that. I have used TurboTax for years and never had this problem before. This will probably be my last year for TurboTax since I don't want to buy a new computer.
