The tax prep went okay generally. It seemed this year that the desktop software was experriencing a lot of bugs and would jump around. In fact you double charged me for the cost to submit the state return. As a result I have less faith in the Turbo Tax sofware. I tried the online version of the software as you requested. I found the online version difficult to use in that it was very restrictive and difficult to follow. I therefore returned to the desktop software. I've used Turbotax software for my taxes for 30 years. I confess I am looking for an alternative for next year.

I always have used the downloaded version, I'm used to it. I am concerned about the online version. I need to talk with one of you about the pros and cons. I suggest having a quick overview of new tax law provisions at the beginning to know what to expect. I spent an hour or more looking this up myself . Also provide an easier way to figure out Identity Protection PIN - it's buried deep in the "Other tax situations" with limited explanation.

The product is good. A few small things here and there but overall good. So the product is a 4. The really one star thing is that Turbo Tax wants you to buy more things from them . More services, everything on line. Upgrade this etc. Very shameful of them. If you have an understanding of taxes, you might consider a different less aggravating product.

Have used turbo tax desktop version every year since at least 2008. Love the guidance given as it walks you thru step by step. I did find the 2025 version seem to lack help/info on some screens. It would be great if the help icon was on every screen to explain what is being asked for. Most screens had this.

It's a little clumsy in the MAC version. I couldn't always tell what it was doing. Not the the Windows version. In addition, I only wanted to print the paperwork that actually had to be filed (e.g. if I mailed it in) but the program made me print all 35 pages. That never happened in my previous returns and I've been using Turbotax since 2015. Overall, I'm not thrilled with this year's version. In addition, I have informed you several times of the need to have the program automatically ask for and IP Pin if one is issued from the IRS. The program still fails to do so. I had to go to the help screen to find that.

I am very disappointed in Turbo Tax 2025.In addition to difficulty with e-filing, the program required download and payment of MA tax software when the MA tax software had already ben downloaded. Also, Turbo Tax 2025 required download of NH tax software .. NH has NO income tax and has ended tax on interest an dividend income.

Always have a great experience with TurboTax. Fast accurate, consistent and understandable. Very compatible with my hardware and software. Easy to use especially since it has features familiar to me every year. The help features are there when needed.

Generally very satisfied with Turbotax. Very easy to use and has accurately identified the areas where I can reduce my tax liability. Does an excellent job guiding the user through the tax process as always and really love the prior year comparison which can highlight areas where more work is needed. I am concerned that the Its Deductable feature has been removed as I relied on that to help me estimate the value of my donated goods. However Deductible Duck seems to work well though there were several "errors" identified in the return relating to providing the details for each donation center that had to be cleaned up at the end which raised some compatibility issues,

Turbo Tax is extremely helpful for completing taxes. However the new user interface for completing Interest and Dividends entry is very poor. in my opinion.It has been this way for a couple years. It is different from every other interface and looks like it was written by a different company. Combining the Interest, Dividend and Capital Gain/Stock sales sections make it very different to make changes later. If you need to update an Interest entry, You have to scroll through all the different other entries to find the one you want. This is my biggest frustration with the tool.

Turbotax incorrectly imported 2 separate 1099-R forms from my Merrill-Lynch accounts. Had I not caught this mistake, the error would have caused me to overpay federal taxes by $700 and overpay state taxes by $600 (plus a state penalty of $70 for under-payment). If TTax can't even do a simple import correctly, it seriously shakes my confidence in the entire product.
