1) Program did not calculate additional taxable income for Oregon (code 158) when I corrected a 1099-DIV from all Oregon Exempt to mulltiple state. Had to enter manually. 2) Used Oregon's DOR "What's my kicker" and overrode Turbo's calculation but could not e-file until I found last years taxes so I could enter last years tax amount which Turbo could have carried over from last years return. Better yet give access to Oregon What's my kicker. 3) Can't uncheck review topics because AI thinks I'm too dumb to be able to choose the correct topics. This year was a real disappointment.

the apple mac version is far inferior to the windows version. would not transfer prior year info from a file on my macbook, had to transfer it from thumb drive instead. does not automatically open to the current return. does not provide print options as on windows version.

I'm a loyal Turbo Tax customer, since the first year it came out. Each year it gets better. The interviews are clear and understandable, the layout takes you (virtually) by the hand and guides you through it all. Calculations are complete and accurate. I get my returns done in record time - and there's nothing better than that!

The process of creating the return documents was very easy; the follow-through was my issue. My initial return was rejected for an IP PIN issue, and the initial directions from TurboTax were not helpful. The software should redirect to the problem, rather than expecting the user to find the forms that need attention themselves. Thankfully, the online tools on the TurboTax website helped me find what I needed, but it took nearly 10 minutes to identify and correct the issue. The software taking me directly to the problem would have saved a lot of aggravation and time

I have used TurboTax for many years and I have no complaints about the results I get. However, the endless up-selling attempts are extremely annoying. How many times do I have to click that I do not want to upgrade the program version I use, or that I do not want to pay for expert advice or audit service so that the program understand that I don't want these things? Does Marketing believes that by annoying the customer he will eventually relent and buy something extra?

Generally, an excellent product, which I have used for many years now. I was a bit put off by being told after updating that the program would re-start. It didn't. Also, the buttons that say "update" do not make it clear if one needs to revisit the item or let it go.

My initial download had bugs. It hung up when trying to install updates. I had to reinstall a new copy after first having to uninstall my old copy. It took about a half day wasted to get this all done. What a giant waste of time. Another continual problem with TT is that they change the user interface every year--The changes are in areas that do not need to change, such as entering income. The enter income interface this year was particularly bad. It couldn't learn that I wanted to enter data myself, not download it.

Everything went well until payment to Intuit from the personal info page. All pages were a good size to work with, however the "continue bar" to pay could not be done because the page was too long. Having to use a Windows 11 laptop for Turbotax this year, I finally figured out how to remove the Task Bar to access the almost bottom of the page. There was a bug in the state payment software last year and the lady on the phone was most helpful correcting the problem; only it was too late to send in a five-star compliment.

Have used turbo tax desktop version every year since at least 2008. Love the guidance given as it walks you thru step by step. I did find the 2025 version seem to lack help/info on some screens. It would be great if the help icon was on every screen to explain what is being asked for. Most screens had this.

It's a little clumsy in the MAC version. I couldn't always tell what it was doing. Not the the Windows version. In addition, I only wanted to print the paperwork that actually had to be filed (e.g. if I mailed it in) but the program made me print all 35 pages. That never happened in my previous returns and I've been using Turbotax since 2015. Overall, I'm not thrilled with this year's version. In addition, I have informed you several times of the need to have the program automatically ask for and IP Pin if one is issued from the IRS. The program still fails to do so. I had to go to the help screen to find that.
