Found entering QCD after exhaustive search

Great except for entering QCD for my RMD's. Took a long time to find. Turbo Tax drop down misleading said I needed to have 1099. Chat room documents misleading--wrong advice. Google search crazy. Finally found it buried in IRA special situations for charitable donations.

Two unresolved problems reduced my rating.

Two unresolved problems reduced my rating: 1) entries from previous year's return were not imported into 2025 return; and 2) my federal return was first rejected because "my spouse's AGI for 2024 did not match IRS records (when only our combined 2024 AGI was available to fix the problem".

State Rejected

I refiled my Wisconsin State taxes after receiving a message that my State return was rejected. I was told an update was coming on February 13, 2026 regarding how Wisconsin handles Wisconsin retirement income. I did the update, refiled State, and was rejected again. I am resubmitting on February 14. Now we'll see. You should have had this ready to go BEFORE February 1st!

Turbotax worked well for me in a timely manor

I had one problem by adding a 1099-R manually and several days later I downloaded my brokerage accounts which duplicated my 1099-r revenue cause a a duplicate revenue. I could not delete the extra 1099-r revenue so I started a new return and added my downloaded brokerage first, and then added the other expenses which in my case were not a problem for me. Every thing else was processed with minor errors in the return check provided by turbotax

DUPED!

I am EXTREMELY disappointed with how TT handled how the process to receive my refund was handled Using a third party to conduct the transaction is quite disturbing. Just another data base to have my information and possibly mis-handle and wind up in the wrong hands Extremely disappointing! Will be shopping next year!

Good but a concern shared

TurboTax has been good. However, i feel my income was calculated incorrectly...I had to report a W-2G, but it wasnt income as i lost the same amount throughout the year...I was able to itemize my losses...However, the amount on the W2-G was added to my income and ended up putting me in the next tax bracket, even though it wasnt technically income, so i lost money from my refund. This doesnt seem right, so figured id share.

BEWARE of the $45 Charge*Pay with CC at End* Sale

I found it very frustrating to find an additional $45 for opting for the $15 payment to be taken from my refund amount. Im sure many people pay your $45, but not me! I was able to call Branden in support who very kindly walked me through the process of finding out where this $45 charge was coming from on my file. We were able to delete this suspicious charge. Not happy about that!

New York return is flawed

This happened in the past two years. When I try to print my NY return I receive this message "Your New York Return contains non-final forms, which are currently not available". Therefore I was unable to print the return. And yet my NY return was e-filed and "accepted"! Not sure I'm going to use TurboTax next year.

Small Issues

Good for the most part. The version for Mac OS has some issues with some message boards popping up where you can't see the bottom of the page. It can't be moved or re-sized, so you can't see any buttons or wording because it's below the bottom of the screen. It doesn't happen with the main TurboTax window. For example when I tried to import a W2 in pdf format it wanted me to log into TurboTax. I tried to cancel but I couldn't because I couldn't see the bottom of the screen. These are not huge issues but they are very annoying! I finally gave up and logged into my TurboTax account. Not sure why I needed to log-in just to import a pdf from my own computer to a TurboTax version right on the same computer.

Easy to use

I've used Turbo Tax for more than 10 years, and it is great. Very comprehensive and essy to use. One comment is that it put a 1099-MISC amount into a Schedule C (business) which it should not have (I had a business in the past but not this year). It took a while to figure out how to correct that, but I got it.
