I find the Turbo tax application simple and easy to use. I was however disappointed that I could no longer file one state tax for free with the option I purchased. I have used the same program for the last several years and was always able to submit one state tax at no additional cost.

Turbo Tax is a user-friendly program that we've used throughout the years. For the 2025 tax year, I did encounter one problem when it was time to submit the return. The section that asked for both the tax payer and the spouse's adjusted gross income from the previous 2024 tax year was confusing and concerning especially since this section indicated that there could be a delay in processing the return if this information was inaccurate. My husband and I filed a joint return, yet we "both" were asked for our adjusted gross income from the previous year. As a result, we had no choice but to enter the same amount for the adjusted gross income twice, from line 11 of the 2024, 1040-SR U.S. Income Tax Return For Seniors.

The format for this year's version was fair at best. Last year's format was much, much better. The glitches when attempting to import documents was annoying and quite frustrating! Bring back the staff that formatted the Turbo Tax program from last year. This experience left me with far less confidence in the product. I will need to think about using Turbo Tax next year which greatly saddens me. I never thought twice about using Turbo Tax, not anymore!

On the plus side - I really appreciated the ability to resize each page. On the minus side - there was no consistency from page to page I also wish that your streamlined narrative referred more to the actual form. I file a schedule C and I have my spreadsheets referencing the actual locations they refer to. (Supplies Part ll Line 22, Other costs Part lll, etc) I need to reference the actual form to make sure I'm putting the correct amounts in the correct places.

I didn't like the compatibility this filing season. I have my investment accounts through Fidelity and it seemed like things were missing. For instance, the foreign tax and income. If Turbo Tax can read my account to see my transactions, why can't it read the foreign tax I paid and my foreign income? Furthermore, I feel like there should be more companies that are compatible with Turbo Tax. Is the Intuit team doing every thing they can to be in sync with mortgage companies? Banks? Credit Unions? etc.?

I feel software was designed to force the user to upgrade or seek assistance when using. The help section could be designed to actually help or inform the majority of users with responses related to typical tax questions as opposed to the seemingly comprehensive lists designed for experts. I'm saying the help section is not helpful for the majority of users.

I have used this product for over 20 years. This year there was a change that I wasn't too keen on. You took the ability to go "back" during the review. I made a selection that I wasn't sure about and it cost me $300 in my refund without any way to go back and change my selection.

I'm a Turbo Tax user of so many years, there no chance of me changing. Although, my returns are relatively easy, I';m sure most returns may appear simple but to some, they present challenges to those that have trouble balancing their respective check books (I've used Quicken to solve that life challenge early on).

Very disappointed in Turbo Tax this year. User experience and easy to follow instructions are very weak. I've been using Turbo Tax since 2011 and I have never encountered the technical issues or lack of ease of use ever. I encountered a recurring error on the MO-CR form that I had to read online how to get rid of it. I had a pop-up with an inaccurate number from the previous year return identified. And overall easability was lacking extensively. Not the same Turbo Tax from years prior.

I completed the federal and state tax returns and filed them electronically on 3/20/26 with no problem. Later, I did the what-if, which I normally do. I always selected "Do not save" to keep the original return intact. I never had this problem until this 2025 deluxe federal return was utterly programmed wrong. I had to waste time and re-enter the original data to fix this flaw. And I learned that getting help or contacting technical support about the software flaw was so frustrating and learned that the community support is a joke and totally confusing to get any answer to those voluminous old questions. I plan to go back to H&R Block next year despite my frustration with their missing tax forms.
