I completed the federal and state tax returns and filed them electronically on 3/20/26 with no problem. Later, I did the what-if, which I normally do. I always selected "Do not save" to keep the original return intact. I never had this problem until this 2025 deluxe federal return was utterly programmed wrong. I had to waste time and re-enter the original data to fix this flaw. And I learned that getting help or contacting technical support about the software flaw was so frustrating and learned that the community support is a joke and totally confusing to get any answer to those voluminous old questions. I plan to go back to H&R Block next year despite my frustration with their missing tax forms.

Talked to one of your live experts concerning installing program. Had a problem with program wanting to use an app and she was extremely patient and helpful resolving several problems' have used this product for a decade and this was first real problem encountered and the agent went the extra mile to resolve.

I have been using TurboTax to complete and file my income tax for over three decades. As our income and financial matters became more complex, I have found I can rely on Tubo Tax to be current on changes and provide excellent support. The tools are there to research complex questions.

Great product but I was charged to file my state return even though I paid for the deluxe turbotax with state download. I have never been charged in the past to file the state download which I paid for. This is either a mistake with the software of very deceiving.

Fairly straightforward taking you through your taxes with either stepping you through all the topics or choosing which ones to deal with. Does fairly good job of asking you all the questions you need. Drives me crazy though that some things do not carry forward - why do I have to put my drivers license in every year, rather than bring it forward for instance (it does bring forward most things but there are a few that I have to deal with every year). I never have trouble with accuracy - but not all the questions are straightforward/step you through things - ie., there are times when it doesn't ask for cost basis - and you need to know it needs to be added. Through the years increasingly asking/trying to upsell(how many times do I have to tell I do not want to pay for advisor help. Big advantage is that it saves data on my hard drive so I don't have to worry about my data being available on the net. Works fine with my Mac.

Turbo tax is easy to use but I did have some confusion this time. I had to go to Google to ask a few questions to see if something was deductible or not. It had to do with information transferred to the State form from the Federal. Although it transferred my Social Security info, it did not specifically tell me that it had or show me where it was until I looked at the actual form. Also, it implied that some investment expense that was not tax deductible in the Federal might be covered in the state. I kept looking for where that adjustment might be but, only after I learned from a Google question did I find that what I was looking for was not deductible on my state return either.

Messed up my state filing TWICE! First it allowed me to exceed a limitation on deductions. Then they send me an email telling me that I had to amend my return. I open the app, download the update, reopen the app and it AUTOMATICALLY changed my return amount in the state filing. When I filed my amended return it then said I owed nothing. That's not true. I owe $526 due to their mistake. Also the stupid AI review bot loses its mind if you try and type more than 20 words per minute. It sounds like Intuit is heading into the toilet all around. I am done with TurboTax.

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 30 years! It has evolved over the years to be even more helpful than when it first came out. I have finally gotten over my fear of downloading it instead of using a disk! I like the new help suggestions. They are easier to use than the old ones. It seems easier to navigate than it used to be also. Paying taxes sucks, but using Turbo Tax makes it suck a little less.

Have used Turbo Tax in past with no issues but had multiple problems this year. First my the state part of my program wasn't working. The system even said everything was all set but the no state income that form generated. I went into help and it told me to restart everything so I did and it worked correctly. Then my e-filing was rejected and it turns out that I needed and IP PIN. Why was I not asked for this when I was filling out the form? Then why was this not caught when the program did my final review.

On my credit card I was charged 2 to times for what I owe the us government that would be $1027.00 plus $28.00 for processing fees. now multiply that by two. on my credit card That would be two transactions $2110.00. there were two errors according to this program/app INTUIT.. and it kept asking for my credit card each time I fixed them. how do we fix this, so I DO NOT INCURE ANY ADDITIONAL INTEREST CHARGES ON MY CREDIT CARD. WHO DO i CONTACT TO FIX THIS.
