I had trouble with the desktop install. It had to do with signing in to my Intuit account. None of the options wanted to do anything, and I had to restart my install process. Also, I had trouble getting last year's taxable Social Security info correctly on the form. It kept not liking what I thought was the answer. I think that was more my thick head, not understanding the forms instructions and Turbo Tax error wasn't helpful but I finally got it corrected and was then able to efille ok. Sometimes the Guidance was redundant or not intuative to what I had entered. Seems like there was no problem with accuracy.

I have been using Turbo Tax Deluxe for decades and I have always itemized which is why I purchase Turbo Tax and have always found it to be thorough and helpful in guiding me through the process. However, for the 2025 tax year, I only found out after purchasing the software download that Intuit has eliminated the It's Deductible feature of the program. If I had known it was no longer part of the software, I would not have purchased it. I have found the It's Deductible feature an invaluable tool for many years. It was comprehensive and I always felt confident that I was valuing my donations correctly. I had no idea it was eliminated until I got to that section and the program asked me to enter the value of my donations!! This left me scrambling for resources online. I was of course guided to apps that were for a fee, which was extremely irritating because I thought when I purchase Turbo Tax, it was part of the price. Now I have to pay more money for a separate app??? No thank you!! Needless to say the level of disappointment and betrayal I feel over the elimination of It's deductible is so great that I have resolved to NOT purchase Turbo Tax next year or possibly ever again. Like I said I have used TT for many years and I think I'm officially done with it!! If you decide to reinstate it, you better make a HUGE announcement about it, because I won't be seeking it out.

In the past I have had no problems but the software was terrible this year. I have been hesitant to submit my return because I don't feel confident in its accuracy. Examples of problems: I was asked, "Did you receive form X?", yes, "Who was it for?", Dependent, "Did you receive form X?", yes, "Who was it for?".... Also, we sold our house in 2025. TurboTax asked me to enter a lot of information off the settlement sheet and said that I owe $82000 in taxes. It then wanted me to enter many of the numbers from the 10 year old purchase settlement sheet to reduce the taxes owed. After that it asked if it was our primary residence, followed by, "Oh nevermind, you don't have to report this". Why wouldn't you lead with that? Additionally, I entered that my wife received Social security disability benefits so it asked me how much I received from the Canadian railroad pension (or something like that). Taxes are already stressful and TurboTax made that far worse this year.

There were hiccups in this year's version that I have never experienced before. The software definitely was not as seamless as in prior years. Additionally, I do not understand why you are charging to electronically file state taxes. This seems like a greedy grab for more money. My state requires everyone to file electronically, and allows you to file electronically for free. We already pay plenty for the TurboTax software, so it is just greedy to charge more for a service that is available for free.

Program different look than previous years. Simplified questioning. Questions easy to follow and understand. Additional info boxes are useful when more details are needed. Love the accuracy of the calculations. Importing of financial records and how it fills in the forms correctly makes it so, so helpful for us seniors. Will use it again next year for sure.

I've been using Turbo Tax for some years now, and the experience has been great because it is easy to use and it walks you through the process when entering all the information required. I like the explanation that provides for each topic if I have a question it explains the reason of why I may come with a doubt. This software is great and very accurate with the new changes we may face every tax season.

I've used it for many years, and it always worked perfectly. Today however, there was a bug in the system...I couldn't enter "stuff" into TurboTax on a particular screen (Federal Carryover Worksheet) I ended up talking to one of your tech support agents, and she was GREAT. Chavmasha (spelling??) knew what she was doing, was polite knowledgeable and VERY helpful.

I purchased two copies of turbo tax so I could do taxes for myself and another copy for elderly family member. Once I got home, I was shocked to find out that I can not install turbo tax on my PC or on the family members PC. The reason was that these have Windows 10 operating system. Both of these PC's were custom ordered for high performance and can outrun any new PC sold today, so I have no intention of being forced to upgrade to a newer computer that has much lower performance. I don't understand why Turbo Tax will not install on Windows 10 (my company develops software and these engineers report to me, so all your excuses don't work for me. My company has to support Windows 10 and we easily do. We will eventually require customers to upgrade, but not immediately. So, I am returning one copy to the store I purchased it at because "it will not install" and I am forced to use another PC for the first copy. Short version, I am going to handle my taxes with another software company. You did not handle the Windows 10/Windows 11 change suitably and I lost the money I paid for the family member... so, I won't use Turbo Tax any more.

Usually Turbotax is great, but this year I had trouble with one line in our state return. The state of NC allows veterans who have served 20 years or more to not count their retirement benefits as income. The software would not allow me to take this deduction and I had already paid for electronic submission. This software glitch made me lose $476.00 in refund. Next year I will not file my state electronically.

I love Turbotax and I have used it for a long time...20+ years. It is easy and fun to us and it gives me great confidence that I will not make a mistake. My one complaint is that I had a minor problem with saving my file but I could not find a number to call for help. I eventually figured it out on my own.
