Turbo Tax in 2025 was very disappointing. Failed to gather online data from my brokerage. Had to enter data by hand which was tedious. Also, it surprisingly failed to get accurate data from my previous return (which was done by Turbo Tax). Again, I had to enter all the data manually! In the past Turbo Tax has worked very well, but this year was an unnecessary waste of time! Next year I WILL be using a different service!

I could not import the data I entered in It's Deductible. I saved the data in October but the file format was wrong. I have used TurboTax for over 20 years, including It's Deductible. Next year I will use H&R Block as I'm told they have non-cash charitable giving software.

Had a problem in that using Questionnaire format. After entered Federal Estimated Tax Paid it had a box for Yes to State or No to State. Am in Florida - No State Tax. I hit NO button. It absolutely insisted on my entering State Estimated (which I finally did by entering Zero mount and both State and Local entries and using Undefined locality) to get through. Never had this problem in prior years. I tried several times and it insisted on entering State & Local Estimated Tax!

I have used TurboTax for many years. Normally I purchased the CD and downloaded to my computer. Last year I purchased on-line and found it was identical to the format on the CDs. This year I again purchased the on-line version but found it differed from the format I have grown accustomed to and in several screens, there was some confusion. I struggled through but was uncomfortable with the changes. I even had concerns the on-line version may not be from TurboTax and might be malware.

When your product was changed to Windows 11, I could not upgrade my old computer, so I had to buy a new one. Learning how the new computer worked was time consuming. Making sure that I got my old data to the new computer was a challenge! It worked. Getting my 1099s from some of the sources was very time consuming (OPM and Social Security were the most difficult. Hope they fix that. Your program made the finish sweet!

felt this year's product is not robust as earlier ones. Had issues downloading my Interest & other income statements though the form was available online. Happended this first time. It never happened before. Some of the menus were little confusing as well and I had to double check and come back to fill up some items

After initial launch, importing the previous year's data and saving, the app apparently didn't actually save the data, and I had to redo it. At the end during filing, the audit defense choice is confusing, and even though I didn't select it, the app required me to enter address information specifically for audit defense.

I'd experienced multiple error messages after initial download. Software froze or locked up several times. Intuit/Turbo Tax support was great in assisting me to overcome software diffidence's. I have used Turbo Tax Deluxe for several years and this is the first time I've experienced such software problems.

I used Turbo Tax again this year for my 2025 taxes. This year, the program was missing several key sections where program step-by-step guidance would have been nice. Additionally, the associated forms for those sections were not available by February 25th, the date I gave up and filed my taxes. I had to resort to "guess work" instead of relying on a program that I had learned to trust. . .

had a problem with SSA1099, a loop which wouldn't let me edit 45 minute wait, 45 minutes with Expert tech and I had to redo everything. Could have just told me to try using FORMS which I found out on line and it worked first time. Wasted my time with going through Turbo Tax
