Great Product!

I love this product. My old refrigerator/freezer was over 30 years old. I can't believe all of the new features this product has over my old one. I found the bottom freezer to be more than enough space for all of our frozen products. I like that the ice maker makes a smaller ice cube than my older unit. The shelves in the refrigerator are set just at the right height for the different size products we buy, and they are able to be moved around to different heights if necessary. There is plenty of space on the shelves of each of the doors. I like the feature of being able to see at what temperature the refrigerator and freezer are set at. I also like that if the door is not completely shut you receive a musical tone that gets your attention. This product takes up about the same amount of floor space as my old unit but the refrigerator and freezer has more inside space for my grocery needs. This is a great product!

Makes stuff cold! What a surprise! Drawers worked smoother and felt stronger on our previous LG identical fridge. But it only lasted 12 years, and the compressor blew out. Most appliances are like that these days. Cheaply built, designed to self destruct in less than 15 years.

door alarm beeping as a new

Overall looking is great. However, once power and waterline are connected after delivery the door alarm beeps every 30 seconds. There was nothing wrong for the door closing, sealing at all. Checked online, this matter has troubled many LG clients. Have to call LG resolved with a missing part (magazine piece) ordered and reinstalled, taking several days.

Questionable Customer Service in Response & Action

Ordered this LG unit on 6/17/25; Got delivered and installed on 6/23/25. However, one of the set screws on the Freezer Door Handle got locked up and the installation Techs tried everyway they can and called their manager for advise. They said I may reject the delivery and get a new order or call LG Customer Service (800-243-0000) for a replacement Freezer Door Handle Bar. Called LG on 6/26/25. The LG lady suggest that I may simply remove and replace the set screw and problem solved. I sent her photos and explained to her that the installation Tech had tried but failed. The LG Lady finally agreed to send me a freezer door handle bar and told me that she will send me delivery INFO. So far there wasn't even any follow-up email from LG.

There's a reason these are $1000 off

Ya'll need to read up on LG refrigerators before buying them. They have been accused of programming their refrigerators to die and have a history of compressors dying within a few months. There's no way LG should even be allowed to sell anything with a compressor. I watched a segment of the tube and it was shocking.
