Great cordless stick vacuum for the price point

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price point, this is a pretty great cordless vacuum! Here are my pros and cons after lots of use around my house: PROS: - lightweight, not hard to move around the house or use on stairs - I love that I don’t have to hold the “trigger” to switch the vacuum into the highest suction. Just click a button to increase or decrease the suction. Seems trivial but your pointer gets tired quick if you need to hold that trigger down! - I was able to vacuum my entire downstairs on one charge on max suction. I would estimate that to be about 1000 sq ft. Flooring is a mix of hardwood, tile, and low pile throw rugs - dust cup seems small but it held all the debris from my floors without needing to be emptied mid-vacuum. The cup was also very easy to empty and put back on (although I do wish it was a hands free empty) - I love that the lights on the battery show how much life is left. You will also hear the motor power down slightly as you get close to draining the battery so you aren’t taken by surprise. - I didn’t think I would like the warmer hue of the lights on the vacuum head but I actually think I have been converted. They did a great job highlighting all the dog hair on my hardwoods. - the upholstery tool is powered!!! It doesn’t just rely on suction. This alone is worth bonus points. My Jack Russell has wiry hair that really nestles into our couch and armchairs, and this was the most effective tool I’ve used to get the hair up. There was still some hair left behind, but I think that’s just due to the thin wiry hair and not the efficacy of the vacuum itself. - I love that I can remove the battery for charging and don’t need to park the entire vacuum next to an outlet for charging. It does come with a hanging dock station to store the vacuum and attachments. CONS: - I wish the battery life was at least a little bit longer but that’s just being picky. - it does take a while to go from a fully drained battery to a full charge (approx 3 hours based on my experience). - I wish there was a “push/slide to empty” feature for the dust cup instead of having to manually remove the filter section to dump out the cup. Again, not a huge deal but would be nice. - larger pieces of debris on my floors sometimes did take multiple passes to pick up. It did sometimes spit/push larger particles away before I was able to suck them up. - The vacuum did struggle a bit on my low pile area rugs. I guess that’s a testament to the suction level! I recommend using the lowest suction and going slow. I had to stop and restart the vacuum a lot when it got a little over-effective on area rugs! Overall, this is a great cordless stick vacuum, especially if you have a corded, heavier duty vacuum as back up. This would be great for smaller spaces/dorms, etc. If your living space is heavy on the wall to wall carpeting, this vacuum is NOT for you, but if you have anything else this would be a great option. Tackles dog hair like a boss, and picks up dust like nobody’s business!

A vacuum that gets the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use. I like the self standing design for easy storage. I just leave it by my laundry door. The tangle free brush roll is great at picking up long or short hairs form pets. The headlights help to uncover missed spots. Effective and good on most surfaces. Some drawbacks: Heavy Weak battery life Small container

Amazing Pet Hair Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum comes with a special head just for pet hair. It has unique bristles/fins that are specifically made to pick up fur. We did the age-old test of using the standard vacuum head on a rug in the living room, and it picked up a tremendous amount of pet hair. We then went over the same rug with the pet-hair-specific head. WOW! The amount of hair and dander/dust that it picked up was actually amazing. The vacuum itself is very well engineered: - the charging/mounting station is easy to mount and convenient - The dustbin is excellent, easy to empty, and not messy - the heads are easy to switch out - the colors and feel of the vacuum are definitely high-end Overall, you can easily tell where the money is going in this machine. It's very well designed, engineered, and actually does what it is marketed to do...pick up pet hair. I couldn't recommend it more!

Solid vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This FurFinder vacuum is great! My favorite features would definitely be the way it stands upright on its own, whereas other stick type vacuums I’ve used do not have this capability. The other feature I love is the FurFinder light. It is AMAZING. It really shows pet fur and crumbs that I wouldn’t have seen with regular daylight alone. My dog sheds a lot and this vacuum had enough suction to make my floors and rugs feel very clean after a good vacuum. The filter is also very easy to clean out and doesn’t seem to have that horrible smell many vacuum filters get after multiple uses. My only complaint is that it’s a little on the heavier side so my arms do get a little bit of a workout if I’m doing a vacuum of the whole house. That is really my only (slight) issue but overall, it’s a great vacuum and I would absolutely recommend it.

Good choice with or without pets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell FurFinder is the best stick vacuum I have ever used. The FurFinder worked amazing on all sorts of surfaces- hardwood, low and high pile rugs, sisal rugs, tile, and even on our sofa. I am obsessed with how easy it is to remove the head of the vacuum. You don’t even need to lean over, it just pops off when you press on a side tab with your foot. Then the pole part easily sucks up all of the little bits that can get stuck between sofa cushions or in small spaces. I loved using this to easily do small spaces like behind like getting the dust behind the toilet or sofa. The tool was awesome at getting a deeper clean from upholstery and really sped up the process. I also loved that it has headlights- its so satisfying to see all of the yuck you are picking up and see the spots you might have missed without the lights. Unlike prior stick vacs we have used, this one stood up on its own. Just be careful not to bump it, because it will fall over. I also loved the tangle free brush roll. With lots of long hair in our house, it didn’t get knotted or become an issue like with other stick vacs we have used. The battery life was also very good and made it easy to use. The vac overall was also much stronger than other stick vacs I have used. From hair to crumbs, there were no issues sucking it up. My only negative on this vac was with the canister that holds the dirt can be tricky to reattach. It has a handle to carry it to the garbage, which is great, but the plastic on the rest of it it wasn’t as durable as expected. Even if I didn’t have kids or pets, I wouldn’t hesitate to select this vacuum.

Handy Stick Vac For Pets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Bissel stick vac is great- especially in comparison to an older model Bissel stick vac that I used to have, this one is much better. Pros: it stands on its own (this is such a helpful perk you don’t even realize you need when you have one that doesn’t). Suction is great, it creates a nice seal on the ground. A single pass on an area is generally all you need. For reference, we have laminate floors and a couple area rugs. We have a short hair chihuahua mix who does shed a lot, so we usually have little hairs everywhere. The lights are very bright, which helps you see all the hair you would normally miss, it is also very quiet comparatively. The FurFinder tool is a game changer for couches/upholstery. It really makes it a breeze to get the dog hair off the couch, and the headlights help to make sure you can see the areas that need to be done still. The only thing I would suggest is maybe adding lights on the side of the head as well so you can see more surface area. The vac is a nice weight, and doesn’t feel too heavy in the hand. Another huge perk compared to our old Bissel is that you can buy replacement batteries! Now for the cons: you can’t really get into tight, low spaces because of where the base connects with the head. Next, and this is just a pain point of all cordless vacs it seems, the battery life. I am not able to get through the whole house on full speed on one charge, and my house is not very large. Overall though, this is a wonderful cordless vac and I’m happy to have it. Would definitely get it again.

Decent for the Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're looking for a middle-of-the-line vacuum cleaner, you've found the one. The key phrase here being "middle-of-the-line". Does this vacuum do what it says? Pretty much. Are there better vacuums out there? Absolutely. To me, this vacuum seems like it copied the end-of-the-line vacuum but just made it a little worse so it's more universally affordable. It has the exact same features as the high-end product (even down to the attachments given) but doesn't perform quite as well or have the smart screen with additional information. In fact, there's nothing "technologically cool" about it, as it's completely screen free. Granted that's not a deal breaker for many people, nor does it impact the functionality of the vacuum. But it does lower the "cool-ness" factor by quite a bit. However, I do like that there is a power button instead of a trigger. The battery also doesn't seem to last very long, especially on Max suction power (which I use almost exclusively). It will easily clean 1,000 sq ft in a single charge, but I can already tell the battery life is decreasing with every use. Another annoying thing for me was the charging cord: it is unnecessarily difficult to unplug from the vacuum and is located in a very odd/tight place compared to the handle. I was annoyed every time I needed to unplug it because took some strength and hurt my hand. It also struggles to remove "stuck in" pet hair on furniture and rugs. So if you're looking for a vacuum to clean a rug that has years of dog hair already weaved into it, this is not your vacuum. However, it does a decent job picking up freshly shed hair from furniture and carpets. Overall, this vacuum is good for someone that is starting with a clean home and is not looking for any miracles.

A must have for pets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Do you have pets? How about multiple pets? And also have hardwood floors in your home? THEN YOU NEED THIS PRODUCT! As soon as it arrived, I tore open the package to see how it worked. I have 2 big German Shepherd dogs, and a very fluffy cat. Combined with mostly hardwood floors throughout my home, we have hair EVERYWHERE. I was in love from the moment I turned it on. It's not a big vacuum, but it has great power and suction. It performed excellently! My home, while not huge, is about 2500 square feet. And I can vacuum the downstairs in about 15 minutes. I also have baseboard heating around every single wall, so it's always a struggle to to get underneath them to get all the pet hair collected. Just the stick part fits perfectly to get all the hair. (See photo) I also really appreciate the removable battery with the option to perhaps purchase extras for future use. The wall mount was a fantastic addition, as well. (Although I haven't mounted it yet...I plan to! But right now it's sits nicely against the wall.) The FurFinder tool is awesome! And I very much appreciate the light feature. My living room is dark, so it very helpful to see the hair all over my couch. (Which was also a little embarrassing to see all that pet hair!) My couch has never looked to clean and tidy. And it's so quick and easy. I also tried the FurFinder on the one area rug I have in my formal living room. (One dog LOVES sitting in there) Same thing! It picked up the hair off the area rug with ease, making it look almost professionally cleaned. The vacuum itself was very easy to use right out of the box. As someone who enjoys simplicity, this was perfect. The different tools detach and attach smoothly. The only, very small, dislike I have is the dust cup is a tad small. (But anything bigger wouldn't work with this vacuum) But all that really means is I have to empty the cup more often, so not a deal breaker. Overall, this product is everything I didn't realize I needed. Again, having so many pets and hardwood floors, there are "pet hair tumble weeds" everywhere. But this vacuum is efficient and simple and is a must-have for anyone with pets in their home.

Powerful Vacuum, Poor Battery Life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stick vacuum. I'm a SAHM with lots of kiddos and a dog running around the house, so my typical day includes vacuuming up rugs, carpet, tile and hardwood floors from various messes including dog/human hair, food crumbs, outdoor dirt, etc. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to try out this stick vacuum. Aesthetically, it's a pleasing, fairly neutral navy and dark grey, with sleek and modern lines. We keep our vacuum tucked away in a closet, but it's not an eye sore if you need to leave it out. It performed very well on all of the surfaces in our home. When using one of the attachment heads or the FurFinder tool, it seemed to have more suction compared to using the regular vacuum as a whole. I found that I had to keep the vacuum in the same area for awhile and make multiple passes in order to vacuum up everything. I do wish that it had a lower profile, because I struggled to get it to fit under some of our cabinets, and that is where the majority of our foods crumbs gather up in our kitchen. The edge to edge could also be better, as it didn't suck up everything when running the vacuum along a wall. The headlights are very bright and helpful in illuminating messes and debris, not only at night but also during the day. It illuminates with both the regular base and the FurFinder tool attachment. I love the free standing design; my old stick vacuum is always toppling over when resting on something and this was super convenient to not worry about. The tangle free brush roll was also a hit and very easy to clean. The biggest downside is the battery life. I get barely 15-20 min on a full charge; I found myself having to rush to get our kitchen cleaned before having it die on me once I get to our living room. I'm able to vacuum our entire kitchen, living room, sunroom, bedroom, and two bathrooms with our old stick vacuum, so this makes it tricky when cleaning multiple spaces.

Life changing for daily touchups

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder Stick Vacuum for a few weeks now, and I can confidently say it has made my life so much easier! We have two Australian Shepherds that shed constantly, so vacuuming is a daily necessity. Before this, I was using a heavy corded vacuum, which meant lugging it from room to room, dealing with cords, and struggling to clean both our wood floors and carpeted areas efficiently. This stick vacuum has been a game-changer. It's incredibly lightweight and easy to grab for quick cleanups. While it doesn't have quite the same deep-cleaning power as my corded vacuum, it's so convenient that I can do daily touch-ups—which keeps pet hair under control—and just use my corded vacuum for a deep clean once a week. The attachments are fantastic—each one has a real purpose, unlike other vacuums where attachments just take up storage space. I especially love how easy it is to clean furniture with this vacuum; it's light enough to lift, and the attachments help get into cracks and pull hair from cushions. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but I wish I had found this vacuum sooner! It has saved me so much time and effort while keeping my home cleaner on a daily basis. If you have pets (or just hate dealing with heavy vacuums and cords), this is 100% worth it!
