So great for the price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must say, for the price, I'm really pleased with its performance. The combination of style, ease of use, and functionality has truly impressed me. Whenever I need a quick clean instead of dragging out my canister vacuum, this trusty stick vac is my go-to! I love how effortlessly it transitions from hard floors to carpets/rugs, it makes cleaning feel so much easier! The built-in headlights are a fantastic feature; they let me see everything being picked up, which is so satisfying. The attachments that come with it are excellent too, and it's pleasantly lightweight, making it a breeze to handle. It has completely met my needs for quick cleanups. I also appreciate the thoughtful storage design that accommodates the attachments perfectly. Overall, this product combines great style, functionality, and ease of use, making it a wonderful addition to my cleaning routine!
I Love This Vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this vacuum! It is convenient and light while doing a great job of getting hair off of my floors. I live in a split level house with mostly hard floor and some carpet. This vacuum has worked great on both types of flooring. I love that I can change the speed of the roll. It is easy to change each part and to empty the collection bin. There is a lot of hair in my house between 5 people and a dog, and the brush roll so far has no tangled hair in it. The FurFinder headlights were really nice as well and I could easily (almost too eaily) see the dust and dirt on the floor that I needed to vacuum. I like that my 7 and 5 year can use this to vacuum their own room and it's not too heavy for them. They sometimes struggle to unplug and plug it in to charge, but this isn't a huge deal breaker. I used the FurFinder tool in my minivan to get embedded hair from the flooring. It definitely got some out but not all. Overall I love this vacuum and would definitely recommend it!
Pretty good but not for shag rugs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is pretty good. It is easy to use, if maybe a little clunky feeling compared to my higher-end stick vac. The quality seems great for a low- to mid-range vacuum. It feels comparable in quality to my upright vacuum at a similar price point. The battery life is good. I think I did about 3 cleaning sessions (about 500 sqft each, so approximately 1500 sqft total) before the battery started getting low. I love that it is free-standing so I can easily leave it mid-vacuum to move things without worrying too much about it tipping over, and then I can easily resume vacuuming. The headlights are nice. I can easily see what I'm vacuuming, even in dimmer environments. They are not as great as the lasers for highlighting dust and debris though. I like the wall mount and tools that come with the vacuum. There is a good variety of your standard tools. They work pretty well, although it can be difficult to get them to lock into place properly. The vacuum works well on low-pile rugs, upholstery, and hard floors, though not very well for picking up fine dust on hard surfaces. It also does not work at all on my shaggy rug. It tangles up in the roller and then stops, so I don't recommend this vacuum if you have long-pile rugs or carpet. I don't have any pets, so no pet fur around my house for the vacuum to pick up, so I'm not sure if it lives up to its claims there, but I did appreciate how easily you can clean hair out of the dust bin and filter area when emptying the cup. However, even after only a few weeks of use, there are some tangled hairs around the brush roller, so I'm not super impressed there. The brush roller comes out pretty easily to clean, but there isn't access to the inner bar where the hair wraps the most, so I foresee it being an issue with prolonged use, especially if there is anyone with long hair in the house. In summary: Pros: Self standing, good battery life, ease of cleaning the filter and dust cup, good lighting, good price. Cons: Doesn't work on longer pile or shag carpets and rugs, still gets hair-wrap around the brush roller, has a somewhat clunky feel, a little heavy for prolonged use. All in all, I think it's a decent vacuum for the price, and it has some nice features. I would recommend it for this price range as long you don't have longer-pile or shag carpets or rugs, and you don't need it to dust mop your floors, for instance if you have a lot of wood flooring.
FurFinding Machine!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ironically, I purchased a generic stick vacuum a few months ago and was satisfied with it until I was provided the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder by the Stellar Product Testing Panel to review. I must say, this is one powerful little machine. It's attractive, sturdy, versatile and has unexpected suction power. The most trafficked areas of our house are about 50/50 hard surfaced flooring and carpet/rugs. We also have a cat and a dog that both shed, and two toddlers. And when I say this thing has a powerful suction, I mean it, nothing was left behind on our hard surfaces. Not even a speck of dust, and I can truly attest to that because the headlights did an amazing job of illuminating every speck of dust and pice of pet hair so I knew I was truly getting it all. I tested the effectiveness of the Bissell versus our corded vacuum on our low profile rug to see what was left behind after vacuuming the rug with the Bissell. I was not disappointed! The Bissell did a great job of grabbing the pet hair, while our corded vacuum picked more dust than anything else. This thing is truly a pet hair machine. I was shocked how well the Bissell performed! Our dog has short wiry hair that can be difficult to lift from upholstery and other surfaces. I used the FurFinder tool on her dog bed and the Bissell had no issues lifting the hair (see before and after photos)! While the vacuum does a great job of standing on its own (something my generic stick vacuum does not do), if you choose to mount the vacuum, the mounting equipment is sturdy and easy to use and instal. There are 3 suction powers and at the medium suction the battery of the vacuum is sufficient for me to vacuum our entire main floor, including our rug. I would certainly recommend the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder vacuum, especially to people with pets or kids who need something, powerful, sturdy, and convenient.
Great powerhouse vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned numerous stick vacuums over the years and this is by far the best at picking up pet hair. Most vacuums push pet hair around on hard woods - not this one! It suctioned up all the hair in one pass. Where it really shines though is carpets. A single pass pulls up pet hair without continually running the vacuum back and forth. It even seemed to pick up hair embedded in the carpet. I am thrilled with this vacuum - my house is cleaner and I am happier thanks to this vacuum!
Great Vacuum for Furry Families
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get this vacuum! I've been wanting to replace my big, bulky corded vacuum. My baby has recently started crawling and I needed something that could keep up with him. I was really impressed by how easy this stick vac was to maneuver and how much faster vacuuming went than before. I love that I can go from carpet to hardwoods and tile to rug with no issues. The FurFinder attachment was very helpful at getting tricky pet hair off our furniture, but also picking up my postpartum shedding from the floors. I'm not worried about what my baby is crawling on any more. I especially like how the vacuum lights up the floor – I am horrified by how they highlighted how dirty my house really was, but it's SO satisfying to use. With so much hair in our house between me and the dog, I appreciate that the vacuum's brush is tangle free (previous vac have always been a pain to clean) and the self-standing design helps with storage and not needing to worry if it's going to slide down the wall and bonk the baby. I'm very happy to have this vacuum!
Great stick option with light
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing I noticed was the light! You can literally see every crumb, piece of fur or whatever is on your floor. Even if you vacuum daily or multiple times a day, it is truly eye opening to see how gross your floor gets! I’m posting a video to show you - this was after wiping down counters after a messy snacktime. Secondly, we have cats and the fur finder attachment is a game changer! It is easy to attach and works quickly to remove the fur from our couch and bedding. Removing the bottom attachment and using the handheld is great for bathroom vents, fans and window screens! The battery is the downfall. It does not last as long as I would hope even when fully charged. Needs a longer life to get through an entire housecleaning including click, bed, etc. Overall, a great option for the price and I love the functionality of the attachments and OMG the bright light is my favorite!!!
Sleek Powerful Vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with this cordless Powerclean Furfinder stick vacuum due to its features, style, and sturdiness. Assembly was quick and easy without needing any tools. I love this vacuum for its self-standing design, and it has the brightest LED lights that help pick up debris effectively in dark spaces. This Vacuum comes with additional tools which are great for cleaning the car and other areas around the house. I have young kids who make mess all day long, but they gladly help me clean up their mess with this vacuum as it is very handy and easy to use. Tangle-free brush roller is a notable feature that this vacuum offers which picks up my bird’s feathers, food, and dust particles, and especially hair so efficiently around the house as well as eliminates hair removal maintenance and makes emptying vacuum a breeze. On the hardwood floor, low suction setting works fine, but on carpet I prefer to use a medium setting which picks up more dust, and the battery lasts for about half an hour, which is sufficient for my house. Battery is easy to charge and takes about two and half to 3 hours to fully charged. Easy to reach the power button, +/- suction settings, and easy to put on wall stand when not in use. This vacuum is little heavy, but to me the vacuum’s sturdy body and great suction power outweighs and advocates its weight. Overall, I love this vacuum and now it is my favorite tool to tidy up my house daily. I recommend this product to anyone who wants to have hassle-free cleaning.
Admirable Contender in the World of Vacuums
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You know how it is, our beloved fur babies hair are invisible until you get up from the couch and your pants have taken on the roll of a lint finder as you carry around a ton of dog hair from one spot to another. Enter the FurFinder: let's break down the pros and cons Pros: -Easily maneuverable: whether you are turning a tight corner or narrowly navigating around pet beds, kids magnatile masterpieces, or on various mediums of surfaces, the FurFinder does this with ease! My home is a medley of hardwood floors, multiple mediums of rugs and carpet and, and 2 different types of tile. The turn power of the stick is lovely but what's even better is the ability to take the bumps and run over hardwood to tile, tile to rug, rug to hardwood and so on! No more smashing, snagging, lifting, (or muttering curses)! -The light on the head is soooo useful! I love sliding the vacuum under the edge of the couch or under the dining table, random chairs, inside the darkened closets and using that light to see where I'm cleaning and what I'm cleaning! -Stands on it's own- let's not overlook this convenience of the fact that the FurFinder can stand on it's own, does not require fancy wall attachment gadgets to be stored, will not fall out of the storage closet with parts and hose bouncing in all directions (the kids toys do this enough, thank you very much) -Cleaning is a breeze on hardwood and tile and rug/carpet surfaces, I can see the dust/fur/dander picked up and collected. And while it's a bit embarrassing how much I'm seeing get pulled into the vacuum, it's so satisfying at the same time! Cons: -Power is decent but my fur babies have small sharp fur that will weave it's way into the couch or soft surfaces/flooring and you do need to run over these sections multiple times to get the stubborn bits! -Battery length is short lived: by context using full power on the surfaces I have is an average of two 30 min sessions at max power before I need to juice up, so I do feel I need to keep this constantly plugged in. Maybe if I play around with the power settings it could last longer but this has been my experience thus far -Removing and dumping the accumulated trash was initially hard to do and I recommend you do it over the trash can to avoid accidents. It just sticks a bit and requires some jiggling and effort to pull out to dump. Overall this is a 4 out of 5 stars for me and I'm the pros def outweigh the cons. I'm a big fan of the results of the FurFinder. My child has seasonal allergies and dust allergies and since we are well into spring we've def noticed less allergy episodes which we are crediting the work of the FurFinder. We will certainly continue to use it!
A must have for pets
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Do you have pets? How about multiple pets? And also have hardwood floors in your home? THEN YOU NEED THIS PRODUCT! As soon as it arrived, I tore open the package to see how it worked. I have 2 big German Shepherd dogs, and a very fluffy cat. Combined with mostly hardwood floors throughout my home, we have hair EVERYWHERE. I was in love from the moment I turned it on. It's not a big vacuum, but it has great power and suction. It performed excellently! My home, while not huge, is about 2500 square feet. And I can vacuum the downstairs in about 15 minutes. I also have baseboard heating around every single wall, so it's always a struggle to to get underneath them to get all the pet hair collected. Just the stick part fits perfectly to get all the hair. (See photo) I also really appreciate the removable battery with the option to perhaps purchase extras for future use. The wall mount was a fantastic addition, as well. (Although I haven't mounted it yet...I plan to! But right now it's sits nicely against the wall.) The FurFinder tool is awesome! And I very much appreciate the light feature. My living room is dark, so it very helpful to see the hair all over my couch. (Which was also a little embarrassing to see all that pet hair!) My couch has never looked to clean and tidy. And it's so quick and easy. I also tried the FurFinder on the one area rug I have in my formal living room. (One dog LOVES sitting in there) Same thing! It picked up the hair off the area rug with ease, making it look almost professionally cleaned. The vacuum itself was very easy to use right out of the box. As someone who enjoys simplicity, this was perfect. The different tools detach and attach smoothly. The only, very small, dislike I have is the dust cup is a tad small. (But anything bigger wouldn't work with this vacuum) But all that really means is I have to empty the cup more often, so not a deal breaker. Overall, this product is everything I didn't realize I needed. Again, having so many pets and hardwood floors, there are "pet hair tumble weeds" everywhere. But this vacuum is efficient and simple and is a must-have for anyone with pets in their home.
