Best Stick Vac
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this stick vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have 3 kids under 6 years old and a 65lb dog so this vacuum has been used almost daily. I previously had another brand name stick vacuum. After receiving this vacuum, my old one was given away to someone else. This vacuum was able to pick up much more than any previous stick vacs. It could pick up dog food off my kitchen floor and dog hair off my area rugs. My previous vacuum could not pick up dog food or cheerios. The headlights were more helpful that I thought they would be for getting all the crumbs in tight corners and under the kitchen table. It stands up by itself which I've never had a stick vac do before and it was so much better than having to find a wall to prop it on when in between vacuuming. It has a wall mount to charge but I chose not to mount it because we are moving soon. It still can have the mount on it so it charges while standing without it being mounted to the wall without any issues. The tangle-free roll brush was indeed tangle-free while still being able to pick up dog hair much better on the rugs than previous vacuums. This vacuum has 3 different power settings and they are perfect. The middle was great for the hard floors, lowest power was able to get my area rugs without them being sucked up into the roller (all while still getting the dog hair out), and the highest power was great for the carpeted rooms. Our dog spends a good portion of the day in our kids' rooms and this vacuum got the dog hair out of their carpet without me having to pull out the corded vacuum. The weight of a vacuum isn't a huge concern for me but this vacuum feels very light and easy to maneuver. I used it many times with one hand while my 1 year old was in my other arm. I didn't use the furfinder attachment because we only have leather couches and no stairs but when we move and have stairs, I'm sure it will be extra helpful!
Bissell Stick Vac
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell stick vacuum is extremely easy to use and put together. It comes with different attachments and a wall charging dock. The stick vac is more quiet than other stick vacs we have. On hard floors I felt it needs to be turned up to the third level suction to get all pet hair, crumbs, etc. On carpet it was effective on level 2 or 3. The headlight feature made it easy to see hair and debris. It was shocking how much pet fur is on your floors. My favorite attachment was the FurFinder tool on our couches. Our dog and cat both love to be on the couches and it did a great job at removing all the pet hair. The headlight assisted in making sure the services were clean. The one thing I would mention is the FurFinder tool is very strong and keeps moving and could be a hazard around small fingers/children. The brush on the wand attachment did not stay on and kept falling off. I ended up removing it completely and just using the wand as it. I loved the feature that the vacuum can stand by itself. Other stick vacs we own do not do this and end up falling right on the floor unless they are propped up effectively. Overall, we like the stick vac and would recommend to others with pets.
Effective and Convenient
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great stick vacuum for this price point. My favorite features: Self-standing - super helpful for portability and for charging - really stable as well Headlights - this is extremely useful for both cleaning and finding missing toys and objects under furniture! Built in crevice tool - I love being able to pull this out and make it a hand vac without having to add this attachment Brush roll - I feel like it disengaged less than other brands I’ve used The three speeds are helpful for me as I have low pile washable rugs, high pile carpet, and hardwood. I do wish the highest speed had a little more suction on hardwoods. The fur tool wasn’t 100% effective on my big doggos short hair in our fabric couch, but it definitely made a dent - and I don’t know that any measure of vacuum would be able to clean it entirely. Overall is a great item for cleaning in a household with three kids and three dogs!
Great battery life, exceptional vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Power Clean FurFinder Vacuum from stellar panel product testing, and I have to say, it's been a game changer in my home. As someone who shares a house with two very fluffy dogs and a cat, pet hair has always been a constant battle. I've tried a few other vacuums before, but the FurFinder stands out for a few reasons. First off, the suction power is impressive. It pulls up pet hair not just from hard floors but deep out of carpet fibers too. I noticed a huge difference after the first use—areas that always felt a little "furry" now actually feel clean underfoot. The specialized pet hair attachment works wonders on furniture and my car seats, which were basically coated before this. Another thing I appreciate is how lightweight and easy to maneuver it is. I don't feel like I'm dragging around a clunky machine. It swivels smoothly around corners and under furniture, which makes cleaning less of a chore. The dustbin is also super easy to empty, and I like that I don't have to touch the mess. Noise-wise, it's quieter than I expected, considering how powerful it is. It still hums like a vacuum, of course, but it's not ear-piercing or disruptive. Overall, I'm really happy with the Power Clean FurFinder. It lives up to its name, and for anyone with pets, it's definitely worth considering. It makes daily cleanups faster and actually enjoyable.
Game Changer For Parents and Pet Owners
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t realize how much I was missing until I tried the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder. With a large Goldendoodle and a crawling baby at home, messes are part of our daily routine—and this vacuum handles them like a champ. It’s incredibly easy to set up, lightweight, and powers through fur, dust, dirt, and crumbs in no time. One of my favorite features is how quiet it is—I can even clean during naptime without disturbing anyone. The FurFinder headlights were a game changer too, revealing just how much hidden fur was in my area rugs (far more than I expected, even on the lower suction setting). It glides smoothly around corners, fits easily under furniture, and handles stairs with ease. The dual-compartment filtration system is another thoughtful touch, separating hair from dirt and making emptying the bin a breeze. While I wouldn’t mind a longer battery life, it’s a small trade-off for everything else this vacuum offers. Overall, it absolutely lives up to its name—a must-have for any pet-loving household.
It Stands Up to mess and by design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lots of great features of this vacuum- both design and cleaning power. Highly, highly recommend. Some of my favorite things: Simple plug-in charging-You don’t need to remove and charge the battery separately. The battery’s weight is more distributed than other Bissell cordless vacuums so it’s easier to maneuver and less heavy on your wrist. It stands up…the self-standing is a real game changer! Other vacuums fall when leaned against a wall which turns into a crash landing with the vacuum sprawled across the floor. The barrel/container that collects the hair, crumbs, and general mess is super easy to clean. It releases from the metal barrel when you tap it on the trash can so you don’t have to use your hand to remove the gunk. Headlights are great. I love seeing otherwise invisible dust and hair on my hard wood floors and rugs/upholstery.
It Gets the Job Done
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder every day for over two weeks; it has some excellent features that are tempered by a few issues. For the sake of brevity, below are my ratings. 1. Weight: 5/5 This vacuum is remarkably lightweight and easy to move around. I’ve always had an upright, corded vacuum so the experience of using a cordless version is great. This vacuum is light enough that my young children can actually pick it up and joyfully vacuum with it, which is a win/win for all of us. 2. Comfort/ergonomics: 2/5 The handle is pretty awful on this vacuum. After a longer vacuuming sprees I have to change hands just for some respite. Something about the way the bottom part of the handle presses on my knuckles makes it fairly painful to hold for long periods of time. 3. Headlights: 5/5 Almost too good. These lights are BRIGHT and they see EVERYTHING. The cracks, the gouges, the miniscule pieces of hair and lint—all is revealed. I’ve never had a vacuum with such great lights and I will say that I felt better about the cleanliness of my floors before I could see them like this. 4. Sturdiness: 4/5 The lightness of the vacuum is due, in part, to its aluminum frame. While this makes it super accessible and easy to lift, it also results in some serious squeaks after a few runs. Keep in mind that I am vacuuming quite a lot of footage at least once a day, so this vacuum has already seen some mileage. Anytime I rotate the head while vacuuming (like maneuvering it between chair legs or around a corner), the frame squeaks quite loudly. Nothing broken so far, but it complains loudly! 5. Battery Life and Charging: 4/5 I can vacuum my downstairs flooring (around 1700 sq ft) on the lowest setting within one battery charge, around 35-40 minutes. Obviously increasing the vacuuming strength will shorten the battery life, and I have noticed that the battery charge seems to deteriorate faster after the 1st battery bar goes down. However, the battery does charge quite quickly (within a couple of hours). 6. Effectiveness: 3/5 We have pugs, so there’s always plenty of dog hair to vacuum. The brush roll hasn’t tangled yet, and I have long hair so that’s been a problem with other vacuums. However, I have not noticed a significant difference in the amount of “stuff” sucked up while vacuuming with the PowerClean FurFinder versus my corded, upright, bag vacuum. In fact, it might not vacuum quite as well on hard floors as my other vacuum (for example, it had a hard time pulling up spilled dried lentils on wood floors; I had to make several passes to get the strays). It’s also not as powerful as I want it to be on our high-pile carpet, and its vacuum tracks are not as defined as I’d like. I will add that it's easy to separate and the handheld configurations work well for blinds, furniture, crevices, etc. 7. Dirt Cup: 3/5 The dirt cup is fine, for a bagless vacuum. You have to use two hands to empty it, which is kind of annoying, but it clicks in and out easily. I don’t see the point of having a sealed HEPA filtration system when you’re going to literally dump all the dirt and debris into a garbage sack and let those particles wander around in the air again. 8. Overall Assessment: 4/5 Overall, I’d recommend this vacuum but with some reservations. I don’t think it’s a great pick for large homes or for homes with a lot of high-pile carpet, and it might not be high on the list for people who are worried about allergies and air quality. I still feel like my heavier, corded vacuum does a better job pulling up traffic-worn carpet, but that’s probably more of an aesthetic issue than a cleaning one. However, the FurFinder is really very convenient thanks to its cordless and lightweight design; I’ve started keeping it downstairs, where I have the most hard flooring, and I love that I can reach for it and vacuum up crumbs and dirt so easily without the plug-in and cord hassle. I would recommend it for folks with limited storage room (you can mount the vacuum and charger on the wall to get it out of the way), or for families who want a handy, lightweight vacuum on hand for quick spills and clean-ups.
FurFinder Vacuum literally shines
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a huge fan of the FurFinder, Bissell has created a tool I won't be able to give up. I received this vacuum as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and it has rapidly become an indispensable part of the daily cleaning routine in our home. I have a two year old Lab Pointer mix, so I'm always on the lookout for solutions to shedding and stubborn dog hair. This vacuum is fantastic for anyone who is battling dog hair on upholstery and floorboards. It performs well as a standard stick vacuum on hard floors and rugs, and has an attachable “FurFinder” tool that is very, very effective at removing hairs from our couch and dog bed. It also has an attachable wand that is super handy for zooming along trim and hard to get corners. All of that is great, and would have been enough for me to strongly recommend this unit, but where it was really a standout for me was with its LED light. I was shocked to see how much I was missing with the broom or my previous stick vacuum. This LED light was a game changer for me. I was finding sneaky pet hair that I for sure would never have seen otherwise. The floors feel so sharp when I'm done making the rounds! The vacuum is free standing out of the box, but also comes with a wall mount, which I personally really like. It also has a detachable battery, and several different charging options. My only con is that I found the canister a little bit difficult to snap on and off. It's not bad, just a little bit less seamless than everything else. Overall, I'm very impressed with it and would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to see what they are missing with their current vacuum.
Furever Grateful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been doing battle with the clingiest pet hair, and now thanks to this vacuum, I'm --(don't cringe, it's true) "FURever grateful!" I was skeptical because we had to just make peace with short, stubborn dog hair and wispy cat fur that weaves into fabric. But the FurFinder lifted it without creating snags. I can't believe I didn't find this tool sooner. I had forgotten what pet-hair-free spaces even looked like! It works really well on couches and car seats—areas where traditional vacuums just skim the surface. So much better than a lint roller, the FurFinder pulls hair out in one or two sweeps, and everything smells better. After using it regularly, I’ve noticed a fresher feel in my home and car. Highly recommended for every pet household.
Better than I expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stick was so easy to put together and once I started using it I couldn’t stop! The light on the front is a game changer is seeing how filthy your house actually is. I filled an entire chamber just hours AFTER my cleaning team finished cleaning my house. I started with my sofa and the amount in the chamber made me question my crew! I could see all the little spots that were missed. I give it four stars because the battery life could be longer and the suction a little more powerful. It does suck up dog hair like a champ and really that is what I need since my house is mostly hardwood floors. It does a great job spot cleaning rugs. Since the battery runs out fairly quickly on full power (there are 3 levels) I could not replace my full vacuum. I do reach for this more than a broom or my larger vacuum and use it daily since it’s so light and easy to use. A major plus with 3 boys! My 5 year old also loves using it! Overall, I think it’s great, I just wished there was a longer battery. I do keep it charged up and ready to go and it stands up by its self which is a huge plus! The wall mounted charger will be so helpful once our basement renovation is finished and we have a space to mount it. It holds the 2 attachment tools that come with it so I won’t have a drawer full of vacuum tools.
