We have predominantly wood-floors in the home but also have carpeted areas, tile in the bathrooms, and large area rugs. I like that there were 3 settings for suction power, but it does seem to automatically start on the middle setting when you power up the vacuum. The lowest setting is nice for low pile rugs so it doesn't just bunch up as you vacuum over it. The higher setting is great for carpeted areas - it pulls up so much dust and debris! I did enjoy using the FurFinder attachment for the couches and our dog's bed. I was amazed at the fur and dust it would suck up. The cordless feature of this vacuum makes it easy to do a quick clean after meals or whenever I notice extra dirt that's trailed in from our dog. We are using it almost every day to vacuum up crumbs or hair/fur. I LOVE the headlights! It really helps highlight hidden dust bunnies and hair. The one negative about this vacuum is the height of the motorized foot attachment - it doesn't quite fit under some of our furniture so I have to switch out to the 2-in-1 dusting brush. Luckily, it's simple to switch the attachment tools and the self-standing design is an added bonus when I'm not using the vacuum. I have really long hair and the tangle-free brush seems to live up to its name. Overall, this is a great product and I highly recommend it as a primary vacuum in busy households!

The vacuum handled area rugs and hard floors with ease. It offered strong suction even at the lower setting. The FurFinder tool is a standout. It removed embedded pet hair from couches and chairs far better than my previous vacuum. The headlights on both the floor attachment and the FurFinder tool were surprisingly helpful, especially in dark corners and under furniture. Coming from a Dyson, this was a feature I didn’t know I was missing. It helped me spot and clean more pet hair than I expected. There are thoughtful touches here. I loved how easy it was to empty the dust bin without removing attachments—a big plus over my Dyson. The tangle-free brush roll worked well, as I often had to remove dog fur and hair from previous vacuum roller brushes. The main downside is the weight distribution. It feels a bit heavy when used for long periods or when cleaning above-floor areas, making it uncomfortable to hold for too long. Overall, I found this vacuum a strong choice for pet owners. It’s powerful, easy to use, and packed with features designed for pet messes. While it’s a bit heavy for extended use, it more than makes up for it in performance.

The adjustment in suction going from hardwood to rugs is noticeable. - When I first read about the headlight as a feature I thought it was sort of a gimme. After using it for several weeks, the light is A MUST! It shows everything. - Love the self-standing feature. Slightly reduces the amount of cursing in my home. - I've only used it for about a month but the charge holds really well. I use 1-2x a day for 5-15 mins each and have only charged twice. - Easy to change attachments and easy to empty. Also holds a lot of dirt! CONS - The vacuum head is extremely bulky. This makes it a bit heavy, but also gives the vacuum a little less ability to get under certain crevices. I guess that's what you get for being so powerful?? This is honestly my biggest complaint. - Similarly, the battery pack is very heavy. Still easier than pushing around a full size vacuum but definitely on the larger side for a stick vacuum. - As a mom of little kids, I love a stick vacuum that can adjust to different heights for when my kids decide they want to vacuum. This one does not adjust. See also: heavy. All that said, this has become my go-to stick vacuum since it's effective. That's really what it comes down to!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m really happy with its performance. We have a long-haired cat who sheds a lot and a large doodle-mix who, while she doesn’t shed, she brings in a ton of dust and other stuff on her curly hair. We also have two small children who snack about the house. The built-in light is by far my favorite feature—it makes it so much easier to see pet hair and dust. Seriously it’s the feature I never knew I always needed. It’s surprisingly effective on hard surfaces, picking up fur and dust quickly and thoroughly. Like it’s kind of addictive when you shed light on all the dirt… you just want to keep going. On our area rugs, it works fine but sometimes seems to “get stuck” a bit. I don’t know if it because I’m going against the grain or what. Still, for a pet-friendly home with mostly hard floors, this is a great tool to have on hand! I love the self-stand up feature too… super convenient when needing to empty it or if you’re pausing between rooms.

As a Mom of 2 kiddos, 3 and under and a dog owner, I need something quick and easy but super efficient and this FurFinder fits the bill! It’s super lightweight and easy to use and push on my thick pile carpet, as well as my hardwood floors but I’m always impressed at the quality and how much it picks up. It even gets the short imbedded dog hairs in our carpet. I love the headlight and how bright it is, helping you to illuminate all the hair, dust and debris you want to remove. The self-standing design also gives it a small footprint and we love that we can tuck it into a corner or our hall closet making it super accessible for even small clean ups. We are also pleasantly surprised how long the charge lasts. We have a large 3100 square foot home and we can do a thorough vacuuming of our entire downstairs on the highest power level. I truly don’t have anything negative to say about this vacuum. We have multiple other vacuums and this is the one we’ve been reaching for time and time again.

I have a mixed surface home with some hardwood floors and different types of carpet and child play mats. I was able to use it on all these surfaces and it really did a good job on all of them. The thicker carpeted mats gave it some struggle but then I'm able to boost the power to the 3rd level and I don't have trouble with it. I'm tired of sweeping my dogs hair all over the house and this is able to pick it up easy. This is a must have product for pet owners! One aspect are the headlights which I never thought I'd really appreciate until I vacuumed a dark room before I could turn on the lights or under the sofa to get an idea of what areas are clean or not. It also highlighted to mean all the fur and debris I've missed in the past with certain areas such as under exercise machines that normal room lights don't shine on. It couldn't have been easier or simpler to set, store, and start using. Amazing value for this combination of features and sophisticated simplicity.

Great price, good suction, really decent attachments for its multifaceted use, and does an awesome job with fur and hardwood surfaces with the light feature. I could see EVERYTHING and boy was I astounded at the state of my ‘clean’ floors. I give this five stars, HOWEVER the weight of it is a bit much for my carpal tunnel wrists, which started to hurt after about 7-10 minutes of vacuuming. It is also NOT quite as deep of a suction as some others that I’ve used where I would not recommend this as a deep cleaning carpet stick vacuum - but it gets almost ALL the hair up. I was so impressed with how well it cleaned up my couch and rugs! With both a cat and a dog alongside two kiddos, my floors and furniture get messy real quick and this did the job and did it well. For the price, I definitely give this an A. The weight of it is a bit much but everything else really made up for that lost ground!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by the Bissell PowerClean stick vaccuum and it is now in my regular rotation of tools I use to clean my home, replacing another popular stick vaccuum brand! It has a lot of power and I haven't had to worry about it running out of battery when using it to vaccuum my 4 bedrooms and the common spaces. I really like the different attachments, and I could even use one of the brush attachments to power-dust the grooves in my crown molding and baseboards with its long extender and its soft bristles!! I've never come across another type of attachment that could do such a good job. And compared to another brand's model that requires you to hold a button to keep the vaccuum on and engaged, I appreciated that the Bissell had a one-touch on/off switch that freed me up to more easily maneuver the vaccuum into different spaces or height levels. The only area of improvement may be in the dustbin removal process, which requires the exact fitting of several pieces/attachments in order to put back together. Given I've used my vaccuum quite a bit, that can make for a messy process.

We have stick vacuums stashed around the house for quick easy use, but lately, I have started going to grab the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder and taking it with me to clean all the areas. It does amazing on my thick rugs pulling up all the dog hair from our two long haired dogs. It is lightly weight and powerful to clean my stairs and awkward areas that are hard to pull all the grim from when I click the button to high gear. The headlights are a must now as I can actually see all that is built up on my floor. Living in the country there is a lot tracked in, but for once I feel like I can keep up with all the dog hair and mud, especially with how long the battery last on the vacuum. I cannot express enough how much this is my new favorite vacuum and actually makes me enjoy cleaning!
