My New Go To Vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If Goldilocks and the three bears had tried the Bissell PowerClean Furfinder, their search for the perfect vacuum would’ve ended instantly. If you’re looking for a cordless stick vac that checks every box, this is it. The Bissell Furfinder is a testament to thoughtful engineering and design, delivering flawless functionality that keeps your home spotless. What stood out for us? The tangle-free roller, powerful suction, surprisingly effective edging, and its lightweight, ergonomic build. We put it to the test by vacuuming with our old unit first, just to see what the Furfinder could really do. And we were "floored". Its headlights illuminated everything our previous vacuum missed: stray hairs, crumbs, even larger pebbles that had simply been pushed around before. It was like having a built-in cleaning guide, leading us straight to the mess. Then came the suction and rollers, which absolutely blew us away. The tangle-free rollers effortlessly pulled up more hair than we thought possible, while the sheer amount of dirt extracted, even after a prior vacuuming, was staggering. We uncovered unexpected short and long hairs, leaving us feeling relieved that all that lingering dirt was finally gone instead of accumulating deeper in our carpets. After weeks of regular use, the rollers still look brand new—no more digging out tangled hair with scissors. The edging capabilities? Unlike anything we’ve seen. Typically, sand or dirt gets pushed to the edges of the floor where traditional vacuums struggle to reach, requiring an extra edging tool. Not the Furfinder. Just push it right up to the wall, and every last speck disappears. No more forcefully ramming the vacuum against cupboard bases in a desperate attempt to snag the final crumb, no more edging attachments, no second passes—just perfectly clean floors. The size and weight also deserve praise. With a bad shoulder, I’m quick to notice when a vacuum requires awkward movements that lead to strain. The Bissell Furfinder was effortless to maneuver, from curtains to floors and everything in between. It even glided under furniture, laying nearly flat and reaching almost three feet underneath couches and chairs, all while standing at just four inches tall. The ease of use was so remarkable that even our 2.5-year-old toddler decided to give it a try, and he could actually move it around! With a battery that lasts long enough to clean the entire house multiple times before needing a charge, the Bissell PowerClean Furfinder has officially become our go-to vacuum.
A Powerful and Flexible Vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder for a few weeks, and overall, I’m really pleased with its performance—especially when it comes to picking up pet hair and dust. The vacuum truly lives up to its name. It picks up our dog’s fur and other dust with ease, making a noticeable difference. The built in lights make the chore of vacuuming much easier as well, revealing debris I wouldn’t normally see, and it also has great maneuverability, making it easy to clean under couches and cabinet doors with low clearance. I like how modular the vacuum is, making it easy to detach parts and convert it into a handheld vacuum for tight spaces or car seat cleaning. It performs well on both hard and soft surfaces, though I don’t find it as effective on a shaggy rug in our bedroom. Finally, it is very stable when standing and being stored, unlike other stick vacuums I’ve had that fell over easily. The one thing that I wish was better is the battery life. It requires charging after 3 to 4 uses of just 5 to 10 minutes each. The battery indicator light is also a bit confusing as it never appears to show it fully charged. Overall, the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder is a highly effective and well designed vacuum—particularly for pet owners or those like me with particularly dusty homes. Its strong suction, helpful lighting, and smart design features make cleaning much easier and less of a chore!
Goodbye fur and dust
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder, and I’m genuinely impressed by how well it balances form and function. First off, the sleek, the self standing design is a major win—it’s lightweight, easy to store, and looks good even when it’s not tucked away. I primarily have hardwood floors throughout the house but have several area rugs. The stick vacuum performs beautifully on both surfaces. I also love using the FurFinder on my cloth couches to collect all the pet hair. Performance-wise, the suction is surprisingly powerful for such a compact device. It handles everything from fine dust to stubborn pet fur on both hard floors and rugs with ease. My two shedding pets usually mean constant cleanup, but this vacuum makes it a quick, satisfying task. One of the standout features is the built-in headlights in the cleaning head. It might seem like a small detail, but it makes a huge difference—especially under furniture or in dim corners. I’ve spotted more hidden dust and fur than I ever expected. This feature should be standard on all vacuums. The battery life is decent, charging is straightforward, and the detachable canister is easy to empty without a mess. If you’re looking for a stylish yet highly functional vacuum that doesn’t miss a spot—literally—this one’s a solid choice. So impressed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so impressed with this vacuum!! I have two short haired dogs with white fur and on my light floors, I don’t see much hair at all. But once I turned on the vacuum and the fur finder headlights lit up, I couldn’t believe how much hair there was! I find myself vacuuming multiple times a day now just because of how quick and easy this is to use. Rather than getting behind and having to deep clean, I love that I can maintain clean floors this way. The self standing design is so nice when I need to stop quickly and tend to something without having to find the right surface to prop it up on. Definitely not a “must have” feature but it’s a huge plus. The lightness and quick detach with the foot pedal is great for quickly transitioning to vacuuming the couch. Another great feature that I didn’t know I was missing is the brush and angled attachment in one. Simply sliding back the brush rather than changing out the attachment completely is brilliant! It’s great on our thin washable rugs that usually get sucked up into vacuums, somehow this doesn’t and glides right over yet still gets all the dog hair. Overall I love how every feature seems to have been thought out with ease of use in mind. Like I said at the beginning I am so impressed!
I love this product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the best vacuums I have ever used! We recently adopted a new puppy who has an absolute insane amount of hair. The fur finder headlights illuminated under chairs and the couch in order to vacuum and clean the rug. In fact, I left this vacuum out (tucked behind the chair) so I could use it daily. It was light enough for daily use and effective enough to quickly clean up after the newest member of our family! Even cleaning the couch was quick and easy— honestly, I feel like this should be a REQUIREMENT for all new dog owners!
Solid vacuum with some negatives
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this vacuum gives a pretty solid performance, but there are a few things I'd change as well. First off, the headlights are great and allow you to see all the individual pet hairs you can't normally see with the naked eye. I have light wood floors and a white cat so I really am only able to see big tufts of fur when I vacuum, but the lights show you every speck of dust and hair on your floor so you can clean more thoroughly. I felt like the vacuum performed better on my rugs than on the hardwood, but that could also just be because pet hair is harder to see on the rugs even with the light assisting you. I used the FurFinder tool on my cat's favorite chair and it performed fairly well. The brush definitely makes a noticeable difference compared to just the hose. However, there were a few stubborn hairs that the tool missed that I had to pull out by hand. Pros: 1. The vacuum stands up on its own so if I need to turn it off and move something out of the way while vacuuming, I don't need to find something to lean it against. 2. Pretty quiet compared to other stick vacs which is a plus. 3. The handheld piece has a crevice finder built into it so you can remove the extender and use it as a handheld on its own without having to grab another attachment which saves time. 4. The battery is easy to remove if you want to just plug the it into the wall to charge without having to plug the entire vacuum in. Cons: 1. The dirt receptacle is fairly small 2. It could be more powerful. Some debris was hard to pick up even on the highest setting. More power would presumably make the vacuum louder though so it's kind of a trade off. 3. You cannot connect attachments to the vacuum when it's not in use-only the wall mount-so if you choose not to mount it on your wall, you need to find a separate place to store the attachments 4. Maneuverability was so-so Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stick vacuum.
Life changing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I realize that this sounds hyperbolic, but this vacuum is life changing. The way that it sees the mess is incredible and makes it so much easier to use. Plus I'm obsessed with the cordless functionality and the way that it's easy to pick this up for a quick clean vs needing to pull out a whole corded appliance.
Fantastic Cordless Vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was shocked by how well this vacuum worked! Since it's cordless, I expected it to have less power but it cleaned my tile, laminate, and carpeted floors amazingly. My favorite part of the vacuum is how easily you can detach and reattach the different pieces. It makes vacuuming much less of a chore since you don't have the cord to worry about and it's so lightweight! With the different suction levels, I was able to clean my entire living room and kitchen/dining area with battery left. I especially love the headlights on the vacuum. It helps illuminate the debris and pet hair. My parents bring their pug when they come to visit and I could easily see the pet hair on the couch with the lighted FurFinder tool. I even used the vacuum to detail my car and it worked great! I have a toddler so it was perfect for vacuuming up all of the crumbs left over from his snacks. If you're looking for an efficient and powerful cordless vacuum that's easy to use, this is it!! Highly recommend!
Awesome vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder is amazing! We have two cats, a dog, and a 5 year old and messes are abundant in our household. Pet hair is everywhere. This vacuum came with multiple attachments to make cleaning different areas and different surfaces a breeze. We use the vacuum on hardwood floors, rugs, and our couch. The head swivels so it makes getting around obstacles a breeze. The furnfinder tool works great at getting fur off our couch. I also had no idea how much hair and dirt was everywhere until I saw it all illuminated with the headlights! This feature is so innovative and helpful at finding messes. The vacuum has three power settings which is great, although I find myself typically only using the strongest setting which works the best in my house. I love that this is cordless so I can easily carry it up and down stairs to any part of the house. It stands up on its own which is very convenient as well when moving things around while cleaning and it is not too heavy. The canister is very easy to empty and put back together. The battery life is not as long as I’d hope but it typically gets the job done. This is most likely my favorite vacuum ever!
Good choice with or without pets
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell FurFinder is the best stick vacuum I have ever used. The FurFinder worked amazing on all sorts of surfaces- hardwood, low and high pile rugs, sisal rugs, tile, and even on our sofa. I am obsessed with how easy it is to remove the head of the vacuum. You don’t even need to lean over, it just pops off when you press on a side tab with your foot. Then the pole part easily sucks up all of the little bits that can get stuck between sofa cushions or in small spaces. I loved using this to easily do small spaces like behind like getting the dust behind the toilet or sofa. The tool was awesome at getting a deeper clean from upholstery and really sped up the process. I also loved that it has headlights- its so satisfying to see all of the yuck you are picking up and see the spots you might have missed without the lights. Unlike prior stick vacs we have used, this one stood up on its own. Just be careful not to bump it, because it will fall over. I also loved the tangle free brush roll. With lots of long hair in our house, it didn’t get knotted or become an issue like with other stick vacs we have used. The battery life was also very good and made it easy to use. The vac overall was also much stronger than other stick vacs I have used. From hair to crumbs, there were no issues sucking it up. My only negative on this vac was with the canister that holds the dirt can be tricky to reattach. It has a handle to carry it to the garbage, which is great, but the plastic on the rest of it it wasn’t as durable as expected. Even if I didn’t have kids or pets, I wouldn’t hesitate to select this vacuum.
