Absolutely love this vacuum cleaner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two fur babies that shed a ton, and cleaning up the hair is a never-ending job. This vacuum made that task easy, quick, and honestly fun. This thing has so many amazing features. It can stand up on its own, you can literally prop it up in the middle of the floor and walk away. The battery is removable so you could have a backup when one runs out, or you can remove it and charge it in a smaller space so you don't have to bring the whole vacuum with you. The headlights are incredible, it really helps me find pet hair. I would not have normally seen. The way the hair wraps around the inside of the filter made it super easy to remove. I liked how smooth and easy the vacuum was to turn and roll over carpet, wood, and tile. The fur remover attachment was also incredible, my couch has never looked so clean! If I had to come up with a con it would be that it is a little heavy and after a few minutes my wrist started to feel sore, but it wasn't anything that deterred me from using it. I have used a lot of vacuums as a pet owner, but this is by far the best one!
Love this vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder! This vacuum is extremely easy to assemble, can be stored almost anywhere and has a great battery life. I was a bit concerned at first around the suction power, but those concerns were put to ease after just a few uses. As a parent with small children and pets, this vacuum has been awesome and I highly recommend!
Self standing stick vacuum missing a few features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Self-standing. This is a great feature every stick vacuum needs. It makes picking up child/dog toys so much easier while vacuuming. Strong suction. We were very happy with the power of the vacuum to get the dog hair up even on carpet/upholstery. Removable dust bucket. We enjoyed the removable dust bucket as we felt we had much more control when emptying it compared to those that empty from the bottom. Integrated light. We have added a light to all our stick vacuums to see dog hair better. This result in a protrusion on the brush that prevents us from getting in tight spots. The integrated lights on the brush head are just what we needed. The brush head fits into tight spaces but we still get the light to see the dog hair we missed. Cons: The "stick" of the vacuum is not collapsible/extendable. This result in a vacuum that is very long. I didn't mind the length but it was a definite negative for my wife. My wife also complained that the vacuum is relatively heavy. The battery is removable, but an extra battery is not provided. This cuts down on time we're able to use the vacuum. Additionally, the mounting stand is not designed to charge just a battery, so you can't charge an extra battery while you continue to vacuum. Overall, I am pleased with the vacuum and would recommend the vacuum to my friends and family.
A vacuum that is a game changer with a light
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never knew how much dog hair, dirt, and dust I was missing on my hardwood floors until I started using the PowerClean FurFinder. The headlight helped find even the smallest speck of dirt. It's definitely a game-changer when getting cookie crumbs my toddler drops throughout the whole house. My dog is shedding her winter coat, and her fur is everywhere. The hand vac comes in handy when I need to clean the couch. However, I do have to go over the couch more than a couple of times to get a thorough clean. My favorite part about the hand vac is being able to use it for the stairs. I have two sets of stairs, so having a light hand vac is a lifesaver for my back and arms. My previous stick vac was an eyesore when placing it on the wall to charge. I love how this vac gives you the option to hang it or to just have it stand up on the floor and charge. If I had an actual laundry room behind closed doors, I would totally use the wall anchors, but it's nice to have both options. The vacuum battery holds a great charge. I was able to vacuum 3 bedrooms, two baths, and my main floor all on one charge. I'm impressed. I like how there are three levels of power. The highest power I used on my carpets and the lowest power was on my hardwood floors. I think my only con was emptying the dust container. I had a bit of trouble opening it and putting it back in. It got a bit messy, and I ended up spilling some back on the floor. It takes a bit of getting used to. Overall, I highly recommend this product. If you have never had a light on your vacuum, like me. You will fall in love with this one. It's the perfect addition to my cleaning tools.
Versatile and Convenient
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is a great, compact vacuum that can be used all over the house. We have lots of different surfaces around the house and this vacuum did a great job on all of them. It really shines with getting hair and other debris out of rugs and upholstered furniture. It also feels really sturdy and well made. The fur finder tool was excellent for cleaning my upholstered furniture. We have two big dogs, cats, and three kids and the fur finder tool was so effective at getting the hair and other debris off furniture, carpet, and even in the car! It was really easy to use and maneuver around as well, so I found myself wanting to use it more because I can just pick it up, click in the attachment and not be hindered by cords or lugging around a big bulky vacuum that just has a hose and only reaches a short distance from the main unit. The Bissell PowerClean is very convenient! We have some very rough textured slate tile floor that has always been really hard to clean with any vacuum, but the fur finder headlights were really nice for illuminating all the hair, dirt, and other gross stuff camouflaged on the floor! This vacuum also glided over the texture of the floor easily, whereas other vacuums I’ve had bounce and get stuck. I did have to use the highest suction on my hard surface floors which was adequate with a couple passes, but the medium suction was enough for upholstery and rugs most of the time which allows for more cleaning time out of the battery charge. A couple other really nice features about this vacuum are the battery life seems to be adequate for a whole house surface clean or a more thorough deep clean, like cleaning a big sectional couch top to bottom. The free standing design is also something I really appreciate. Having had others that you need to prop up just right or they fall over really made me love this feature of the Power Clean. The design of the tangle free brush roller was helpful too because I never had to stop cleaning to untangle the roller brush and it is really effective at raking out hair and debris from rugs and upholstery. The canister is easy to empty and the filter is also easy to keep clean. Everything is really accessible.
Convenient powerhouse
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very surprised by how much I love this new stick vacuum. I have another cordless vacuum that I've had for years and kind of thought was the gold standard but I think I found my new favorite in this one. On hard surfaces both even wood floors and uneven tiles I found very little debris remaining. We have two dogs and two small children so there's always a mess somewhere on my floors. The fur finder tool really impressed me removing pet hair from my couch throw pillows and oversized floor pillows that my kids lie on. It's so easy to use and store that I do feel like it has made my cleaning routine quicker and more efficient. I do think my absolute favorite feature is the headlight. Pushing this vacuum under surfaces that are low to the ground and hard to see beneath the headlight was a game changer. With other vacuums I feel like I'm constantly rolling it back under because I pull it out and then notice more debris remaining. With this vacuum I could see the debris location with the headlight and suck it up immediately. Overall, the vacuum is very easy to use, Charges easily stays upright, doesn't tip over and holds a charge well. I'm really impressed!
10 out of 10 stick vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean FurFinder is the first stick vacuum I’ve ever had or used and wow was I impressed! I wasn’t sure if a stick vacuum could keep up with the hair of two shedding dogs, but it did an awesome job! We have a mix of hardwood, tile and carpet and I was impressed with how much it was able to pick up from all surfaces. The furniture & upholstery tool did an excellent job removing fur & dirt from our couches & chairs. It was so quick to attach & use and I found myself vacuuming my couch more often as a result. It also came with FurFinder headlights which are an absolute game changer. When I first used the vacuum I was shocked at how the lights were able to point out just how much hair and dust was on my floor & furniture. I felt like I was able to clean so much more effectively with them because I could see the areas I’d missed. I also appreciated the tangle-free brush & the fact that between the pet & human hairs, nothing got stuck! The vacuum has some awesome bonus features including a crack & crevice tool attachment, charging station and it stands upright on its own! This allows for quick & easy use no matter what room or mess. The Bissell PowerClean FurFinder is an excellent addition to the cleaning routine and it makes cleaning & tidying pet hair & dust so much easier & enjoyable!
Fur Finding Beast of a Vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t expecting to love the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder as much as I do, but here we are. First off—headlights. Real, functional headlights that light up every last pet hair hiding in the shadows. Super satisfying to actually see the fur get picked up. We have a dog and 2 cats, so there’s a lot of fur floating around here. This thing pulled up a ridiculous amount of fur that my other vacuum (named after an aquatic animal) apparently decided to leave behind. It’s also cordless (woo!), which makes zipping around the house way easier. Just be aware that the battery life isn’t amazing—maybe 20 minutes on the highest power setting. I usually have to recharge it a couple of times to do the entire house, so that’s definitely worth noting. The brush roll is a beast. No tangles, no snarls, and somehow it never got clogged, even with all the hair it sucked up. It handled tile and carpet like a pro — no need to waste time messing with settings or anything. And the attachments? Perfect for getting into weird spots like corners, under cabinets, sliding door tracks and tackling the couch. Overall, it's not perfect, but for pet owners, it’s kind of a game-changer.
Light and easy to manuver but low suction
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder and it is convenient enough that I will keep grabbing it when I need a quick vacuum. One big pro was how light the vacuum is! I found it very easy to push and carry around. My 8 year old was easily able to maneuver it and actually grabs it out of the closet now on her own to vacuum (definitely a win!). She is about 4'4 to give you a sense of the size of the vacuum in the picture. The incorporated light also makes it easy to see everything on your floors and make sure they are actually clean before moving on to a new area. On the less positive, the suction was decent but I often found I had to go over an area more than one time to pick up crumbs, dog hair, or dirt from the hardwood floors. It was effective at cleaning up visible messes on my rugs but had difficulty transitioning from hardwood floor onto the rug and I often had to pick it up and place it on the rug to vacuum. The second photo is from a video I took while I was vacuuming but you can see how it is pulling up the corner of the rug instead of going over the top. It doesn't stop me from recommending the vacuum but it does make me rate the performance lower than other similar vacuums I have tried.
Really sucks in all good ways
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just had our first baby and are so happy to have gotten this before he’s crawling amongst our two dogs! The popular name brand stick vacuum we’ve used for years picks up about half of what this one does, and it cost 3 times what this one is priced at! This Bissell made our rugs look brand new and worked really well on the hardwood floors too. It’s a bit heavier than our other one but still light enough to easily travel up and down the stairs or to get up on various furniture pieces. Also love that it has a light (it’s so gratifying to see all the dirt right before you pick it up!), is self standing and has an on/off power switch instead of having to continuously hold down a button for power (my mom has arthritis and could never use our other vacuum because of that). And for being so powerful it isn’t very loud so I can use it while baby and dogs are in the room and they aren’t bothered by it. My only critique is that the dirt collector/bin is pretty small so I have to empty it often.
