Performance on Various Surfaces: It performs beautifully on both hard floors and carpets. It transitions seamlessly between the two, picking up pet hair, dust, and debris without any issues. It actually feels easier to maneuver than our previous handheld, despite being a bit heavier. Effectiveness of the FurFinder Tool: The FurFinder tool is awesome for tackling embedded pet hair on furniture and upholstery. It really pulls out the hair that tends to get woven into our couch cushions, and I’ve noticed way less lingering fur since we started using it. FurFinder Headlights: I absolutely love the headlights — they make a huge difference in spotting hidden hair and dust bunnies under furniture and along baseboards. It’s one of my favorite features and makes cleaning oddly satisfying. Ease of Use & Design: This vacuum is super easy to use. The self-standing design is convenient when you need to pause mid-clean, and the tangle-free brush roll really lives up to its promise. The only small downside is that after about a month, the wheels have started to squeak a little, but it hasn’t affected performance, and I’m still completely obsessed with this vac. I have only used corded full vacuums before and the stick vacuum is not as powerful, but it gets the job done. It is light enough that my 3 year old can help vacuum and she loves it! It performed well on hardwood, tile and my rugs. It comes apart to have a hand held version and that is very helpful in cleaning out drawers and other small spaces. The FurFinder tool did a great job of getting crud out of the chair I used it on. It is a great tool to have upstairs to give a quick vacuum in the bedrooms and bathroom. The headlights on the vacuum were helpful to see dust and debris on the hardwood floor, though I didn't notice them making a difference on our light colored area rug. I love that I can stand the vacuum up without having to have a mount on the wall (though it does come with a mount). I also love the tangle-free brush roll. We have a lot of long hair that gets tangled up in the vacuum brush roller and we haven't noticed that with this stick vacuum. Overall, very convenient and efficient little vacuum.

After charging it up, I gave it a spin on tile, hardwood, and area rugs—and it handled them all impressively. One feature I didn’t expect to love as much as I did: the headlights. They made it so much easier (and a bit shocking!) to spot hidden dust and debris that needed attention. My area rugs were especially bad, packed with pet hair and my own, but the vacuum tackled it with ease. My dog Nala has very fine hair that’s hard to see, but somehow manages to get everywhere. I was stunned by how much hair the vacuum picked up from both the carpet and couch in just one pass. It made a noticeable difference immediately. The FurFinder tool is incredibly effective on upholstery and furniture. It removed embedded pet hair that other vacuums have missed, making my cleaning routine much quicker and more thorough. I even brought the vacuum up onto the couch—it's so lightweight that this was no problem at all. It also did a fantastic job on my tile floors. We didn't have a lot of extra space, so the size was great, and I appreciate the option to mount vs. just plug in the battery; we did the latter, but might mount it in the laundry closet in the future. The battery life was about as advertised for us. The modular design was really cool; in all cases it was easy for my kids to use. Our hallway collects a decent amount of dog hair, and I didn't think it was that bad, but with the light in front you could really tell the difference! Same with under the the dining room table. It was also nice for cleaning crumbs and things from under the couch. I love that it can be handheld, and the detail attachment is great too. It makes it very easy to do more frequent quickie cleans (with the option of kid help) without busting out the dreaded big vacuum, and actually works a lot better for hard-to-access areas (under the table, under the couch, the space between furniture and the wall).

As a busy mom, two under 5 and fur baby, your vacuum becomes your best friend. This stick vacuum did the job well. Great suction on all the surfaces in my house; carpet, vinyl, and marble floors. The FurFinder tool was a game changer. We're in middle of a move and cleaning the couches before setting them up was a snap. It was quick and easy and didn't snag on any of the material. My husband loves the headlights for spotting missed dust bunnies and renovation dust. The only draw back that we saw was that it was hard to get derbies in corners. Appreciated that we didn't have to mount anything to our walls with this self-standing vacuum. Overall I give this vacuum an A.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Bissel stick vac is great- especially in comparison to an older model Bissel stick vac that I used to have, this one is much better. Pros: it stands on its own (this is such a helpful perk you don’t even realize you need when you have one that doesn’t). Suction is great, it creates a nice seal on the ground. A single pass on an area is generally all you need. For reference, we have laminate floors and a couple area rugs. We have a short hair chihuahua mix who does shed a lot, so we usually have little hairs everywhere. The lights are very bright, which helps you see all the hair you would normally miss, it is also very quiet comparatively. The FurFinder tool is a game changer for couches/upholstery. It really makes it a breeze to get the dog hair off the couch, and the headlights help to make sure you can see the areas that need to be done still. The only thing I would suggest is maybe adding lights on the side of the head as well so you can see more surface area. The vac is a nice weight, and doesn’t feel too heavy in the hand. Another huge perk compared to our old Bissel is that you can buy replacement batteries! Now for the cons: you can’t really get into tight, low spaces because of where the base connects with the head. Next, and this is just a pain point of all cordless vacs it seems, the battery life. I am not able to get through the whole house on full speed on one charge, and my house is not very large. Overall though, this is a wonderful cordless vac and I’m happy to have it. Would definitely get it again.

Its headlights illuminated everything our previous vacuum missed: stray hairs, crumbs, even larger pebbles that had simply been pushed around before. It was like having a built-in cleaning guide, leading us straight to the mess. Then came the suction and rollers, which absolutely blew us away. The tangle-free rollers effortlessly pulled up more hair than we thought possible, while the sheer amount of dirt extracted, even after a prior vacuuming, was staggering. Very simple to assemble, and it was a nice touch that equipment was included to hang the unit on the wall, out of the way. Even so, as you can see from the photo, it will easily fit into any nook. Charging did not take overly long. Plenty powerful enough to handle picking up dust and dirt. The long neck/tube is potentially the best feature, made it easy to access areas that our bigger, 'roller' vacuum wouldn't be able to access easily. It still scared our dogs and baby though, so we havent solved every vacuuming issue yet. Emptying it out was simple, but reattaching the dust/dirt catch component was a little finicky. Overall, would highly recommend.
