I live in a split level house with mostly hard floor and some carpet. This vacuum has worked great on both types of flooring. I love that I can change the speed of the roll. It is easy to change each part and to empty the collection bin. There is a lot of hair in my house between 5 people and a dog, and the brush roll so far has no tangled hair in it. The FurFinder headlights were really nice as well and I could easily (almost too eaily) see the dust and dirt on the floor that I needed to vacuum. I like that my 7 and 5 year can use this to vacuum their own room and it's not too heavy for them. They sometimes struggle to unplug and plug it in to charge, but this isn't a huge deal breaker. I used the FurFinder tool in my minivan to get embedded hair from the flooring. It definitely got some out but not all. Overall I love this vacuum and would definitely recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned many cordless stick vacuums over the years, and the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder is hands-down my favorite. From the moment I unboxed it, I was impressed. The setup was quick and easy, and the vibrant blue color immediately stood out—it actually made me excited to start cleaning! Performance-wise, it well surpassed my expectations. One of the biggest highlights for me is the motorized pet tool. I used to dread cleaning my couch because non-motorized tools just didn’t cut it, and I’d have to use the main floor nozzle (which felt pretty gross). But this attachment is powerful and effective—it made my couch look and feel brand new. My wife even said “wow, you can really feel the suction on this.” It got all the bet hair! I was a initially skeptical about how it would handle hardwood floors without a soft brush roll, but it picked up both large and small debris effortlessly. Same with carpet, no problem at all. And the headlights? Game-changing. Even the motorized pet tool had headlights! They lit up every bit of dust, hair, and grime you wouldn’t notice with the naked eye. The self-standing design is nice and thoughtful. As someone living in an apartment, I do wish it folded more compactly and then self stood like some competitors, but overall, having it stand on its own is a huge plus. Emptying the dust cup is a bit more involved than some competitors — you need to remove the dust cup, take off the filter/cyclone, and then dump the debris. Still, the process is fairly clean and controlled, which I appreciate. If I had one small critique, it’s the charger. It feels a bit flimsy, and a portion of the metal jack is exposed when plugged into the battery. But that’s a minor issue in an otherwise stellar experience. In short: excellent power, smart features, and great attention to detail—especially for pet owners. I highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean FurFinder was easy to unpackage and assemble. My first impression was that it looked oddly top-heavy with the dust chamber at the top of the vacuum when fully assembled, but once I began using the vacuum, I didn't find it awkward at all. In fact, it's easier and smoother to maneuver than the other full-sized vacuums I own. With 2 dogs, a cat, and a toddler, we have plenty of hair and dirt to clean up! We mostly have hardwood floors in my home, which the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder cleans up easily in no time. I also found it effective on upholstery where extra pet hair tends to gather quickly. I also was surprised that I loved the FurFinder Headlights so much! I didn't think they would make a big difference, but the lights really highlighted where I needed to point the vaccum, especially since my floors are darker wood. I'm not a huge fan of vaccuming, but the ease of use of the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder makes doing a quick run through cleaning up after my pets a breeze.

Here are my pros and cons after lots of use around my house: PROS: - lightweight, not hard to move around the house or use on stairs - I love that I don’t have to hold the “trigger” to switch the vacuum into the highest suction. Just click a button to increase or decrease the suction. Seems trivial but your pointer gets tired quick if you need to hold that trigger down! - I was able to vacuum my entire downstairs on one charge on max suction. I would estimate that to be about 1000 sq ft. Flooring is a mix of hardwood, tile, and low pile throw rugs - dust cup seems small but it held all the debris from my floors without needing to be emptied mid-vacuum. The cup was also very easy to empty and put back on (although I do wish it was a hands free empty) - I love that the lights on the battery show how much life is left. You will also hear the motor power down slightly as you get close to draining the battery so you aren’t taken by surprise. - I didn’t think I would like the warmer hue of the lights on the vacuum head but I actually think I have been converted. They did a great job highlighting all the dog hair on my hardwoods. - the upholstery tool is powered!!! It doesn’t just rely on suction. This alone is worth bonus points. My Jack Russell has wiry hair that really nestles into our couch and armchairs, and this was the most effective tool I’ve used to get the hair up. There was still some hair left behind, but I think that’s just due to the thin wiry hair and not the efficacy of the vacuum itself. - I love that I can remove the battery for charging and don’t need to park the entire vacuum next to an outlet for charging. It does come with a hanging dock station to store the vacuum and attachments. CONS: - I wish the battery life was at least a little bit longer but that’s just being picky. - it does take a while to go from a fully drained battery to a full charge (approx 3 hours based on my experience). - I wish there was a “push/slide to empty” feature for the dust cup instead of having to manually remove the filter section to dump out the cup. Again, not a huge deal but would be nice. - larger pieces of debris on my floors sometimes did take multiple passes to pick up. It did sometimes spit/push larger particles away before I was able to suck them up. - The vacuum did struggle a bit on my low pile area rugs. I guess that’s a testament to the suction level! I recommend using the lowest suction and going slow. I had to stop and restart the vacuum a lot when it got a little over-effective on area rugs! Overall, this is a great cordless stick vacuum, especially if you have a corded, heavier duty vacuum as back up. This would be great for smaller spaces/dorms, etc. If your living space is heavy on the wall to wall carpeting, this vacuum is NOT for you, but if you have anything else this would be a great option. Tackles dog hair like a boss, and picks up dust like nobody’s business!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the start, liked that it came with self-drilling drywall screws; assembly was easy; removable base plate for ease of assembly since you can use the base as a template before drilling; location on the wall hung base to store all the accessories on the base vs needing to store them on a shelf somewhere. FurFinder headlights are great, but wish there were one or two lights on the edging attachment, as well. The lights on the vacuum itself are also very good at highlighting the dirt and hair on the floor even in a well lit room. The tangle-free brush roll is great with our medium-hair dog and long-hair humans. The vacuum is not as powerful so it cannot pick up dirt and other tiny grime from our kitchen grout and does not have corner strength. If you are okay with sweeping in addition to vacuuming, this is okay, but disappointing. Base station: plug is on the inside of the base so if you have an outlet above the base, the cord has to droop down and around the base vs if they had put it in the middle you could have an outlet above or below without an issue. Battery: you can get replacement batteries but there's no place to recharge a battery on the base, you'd have to recharge it separately (not on the base or in the vacuum). Unlike our last cordless vacuum, the battery cannot complete the job on one charge -- maybe the living room and couch with quick run of the kitchen and dining room, but the stairs, hallway, and bedrooms have to be a second charge and the second floor a third charge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Of the many stick vacuums I have used in my life, this one stands above the rest! It was incredibly easy to assemble, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Right out of the box, it had enough charge to vacuum at least two rooms, and did a fabulous job! The headlights are much brighter than I expected, and they really help me find dirt, dust, and pet hair that I would’ve had a difficult time seeing otherwise. The vacuum itself is lightweight, powerful, and quite easy to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles. I’ve used it on hardwood floors, tile, and rugs, and it does a wonderful job of picking up all the crumbs left by my daughter and pet hair I’m constantly battling. I’m impressed by the battery life, and appreciate that it can be recharged easily by just plugging the charger cable into the vacuum… although sometimes I forget it is plugged in, due to the inconspicuous nature of the wire, and try to move it, yanking the entire charger out of the wall. So far this has not done any damage to the vacuum, so I guess that is a testament to its robustness! If I had to pick one thing to improve upon, I would like if it was a bit quieter, but in all honesty, I’ve never really found a quiet vacuum, and this one is no louder than any others I’ve used. All in all, I’m very happy with the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder, and have already recommended it to numerous friends!

With two animals and two kids in the house, we deal with plenty of fur, crumbs, and dust, and this stick vac has made a noticeable difference in our daily cleaning routine. Performance on Various Surfaces: It performs beautifully on both hard floors and carpets. It transitions seamlessly between the two, picking up pet hair, dust, and debris without any issues. It actually feels easier to maneuver than our previous handheld, despite being a bit heavier. Effectiveness of the FurFinder Tool: The FurFinder tool is awesome for tackling embedded pet hair on furniture and upholstery. It really pulls out the hair that tends to get woven into our couch cushions, and I’ve noticed way less lingering fur since we started using it. FurFinder Headlights: I absolutely love the headlights — they make a huge difference in spotting hidden hair and dust bunnies under furniture and along baseboards. It’s one of my favorite features and makes cleaning oddly satisfying. Ease of Use & Design: This vacuum is super easy to use. The self-standing design is convenient when you need to pause mid-clean, and the tangle-free brush roll really lives up to its promise. The only small downside is that after about a month, the wheels have started to squeak a little, but it hasn’t affected performance, and I’m still completely obsessed with this vac. Final Thoughts: We use this vacuum every day, and it’s quickly become a household favorite. Great suction, solid battery life on medium/low, and perfect for pet owners. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this vacuum. I have a different brand in a similar style and it is not nearly as good at cleaning floors/furniture. We have a lot of hardwood in the house and many vacs struggle to actually get the dog hair off wood floors, but this one has no issues. The headlights are amazing at helping to spot areas of dust/fur that your eye doesn’t always see. I’m similarly impressed at how effective it is on furniture. Having a golden retriever, it is hard to escape fur in the house whether it’s couches, carpets or floors. One of my favorite features is that it stands upright on its own. Other brands are too top heavy to be able to do this and require bolting the charger to a wall. The charging cord is also slim not bulky. I would highly recommend this to anyone not just with a dog as it’s amazing with dust as well. We recently painted and had floors done in our home and this had no problem getting the floors cleaned after all the sanding.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression of the Bissell Power Clean FurFinder is how powerful it performs while being slim and compact. It has a low profile and easily comes apart for storage. Our home is a mix of hardwood and carpet/rugs and it cleans both surfaces well. It is a joy to have a rechargeable vacuum that I can easily take to any room in the house. I can use it to remove pet hair on the back of our sofa where the cat likes to sleep, as well as hard to reach cobwebs in the corner of the wall. The FurFinder tool is very helpful. It has different combs inside that easily sweep up stuck-on fur from our furniture. I think the ease of use with this vacuum is one of its best qualities, because I actually feel inclined to clean more often now that I have it. With a cat and a dog and a toddler in our home, this is important to me. The headlight feature is really fun and makes cleaning a cinch. I love that I can see what it is picking up, especially around corners of our couch where the household lights might not reach. The motor is powerful but still not too heavy to weigh the vacuum down. It stays upright no matter where I move it. This is another great product by Bissell, a brand I have come to trust time and again.

I had a very popular brand vacuum that I thought was totally doing the trick, but then I got this one and my life was instantly better. Going to list out what I love about it: 1. It works really really well. I didn’t think it could possibly be as powerful as my old vacuum bc it’s small and doesn’t plug in, but it really is amazing. I have a dog that sheds a ton and 3 small kids so we put it through the wringer, and it holds its own. Attaching a photo to show how much it sucked up the first time I ever used it — I had vacuumed the day before. 2. The fur attachment reallllyyyyy gets all those dog hairs that you thought were just part of the rug now. 3. It has a light on the front! You know when the sun hits so perfectly that you can see juuuust how much dog hair is on your floors? This light gives you that affect but all the time, making it way easier to get every little hair and piece of dirt 4. Attachment storage! It comes with a way to store attachments, which is so helpful so you don’t have random attachments hanging out on the floor of your hall closet. 5. Light, compact, and easy to get under furniture. 6. Doesn’t come packed in a ton of styrofoam that you have to throw away and feel guilty about! My one con (and this is a me problem because it’s the way the world is going and I just need to get over it), but you have to charge it. I hate that I can’t just pull it out and plug it in. One more thing to have to charge! Also, I live in a small, old house that doesn’t have a laundry room/dedicated storage space for things like this, so it limits where i can store it. Overall though, 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.
