Great features but suction could be better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vacuum is easy to put together – I didn’t need the instructions to get started, and I really like the headlight feature. You can see in detail every little tiny hair and crumb your other vacuums or floor cleaning efforts have left behind. You can also very clearly see (unfortunately) this vacuum does not have the best suction power, especially in the lowest mode. There are a couple nooks and crannies in my house I kept going over and couldn’t get all the fine particles and/or hairs out of with this vacuum. The other feature I absolutely adore on this stick vacuum (and if you’ve had others, you’ll also appreciate) is the ability for it to stand up on its own – it doesn’t have to “lean” on something or be hanging on the wall. This feature might seem small, but it’s huge when you’re a stop/start cleaner like me. I hate how my other stick vacuums have had to ‘lean’ precariously against the wall or the couch while I run off in between vacuuming to grab/do something else. I did try all of the attachments. Ultimately found I liked using it best with the full size/original foot, mostly because of the headlight, but also because the attachments (while easy to take on and off) weren’t the easiest to use. As far as run time, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I think the box says 45 minutes, but I certainly did not get that on the highest mode, which is the only mode I will use this in. But, whatever the run time, I was able to get most of the main areas on one level (kitchen, bathroom, living/dining room) done with one charge. Another bonus, this vacuum is really easy to clean. I dump the bin after every use, so it's very important it's easy to come on and off.
Bissell Furfinder
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and both my husband and I were impressed. The vacuum is versatile, offering cleaning options for upholstery, car interiors, and floor cleaning. The vacuum easily transitions from carpet and rugs to hard wood floors without requiring you to change the vacuum head. My favorite feature was the bright headlights, which allow you to see dust and hair that you would otherwise miss. My eight-year-old son even commented on this feature as we recognized the surprising amount of dirt and debris on what we thought were our clean floors. We used the Furfinder tool on our upholstery which offered a strong suction, effectively loosening and removing more challenging hair. The tangle free-brush eliminated hair wrapping and the self-standing design is a great feature that is not seen in most cordless vacuums. Overall, I am very pleased with this product and would recommend to anyone with pets and/or children.
Game changer for pet parents and toddlers alike
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a parent of two toddlers and a dog, my floors take a beating daily. The Bissell PowerClean FurFinder has been an absolute game-changer. I’m genuinely impressed with how well it picks up after my messy little ones and our shedding pup. Pros: - Lightweight: Easy to carry around the house, even with one hand. - User-Friendly: Simple to operate right out of the box — no complicated setup or instructions. - Compact Design: It easily gets into tight spots like under furniture or around high chairs. - Easy to Empty and Clean: Quick to empty and rinse out, which saves me time. - Cord-Free Freedom: I love not being tethered to an outlet — makes cleaning feel less like a chore. Cons: - Battery Life: I do wish the battery lasted a bit longer. It’s great for quick cleanups, but I sometimes need to recharge mid-session if I’m tackling the whole house. - Overall, I highly recommend this vacuum to anyone with pets or kids (or both!). It’s a great balance of power and convenience — and it makes daily cleanup feel much more manageable.
Handy and impressive vacuum great on pet fur
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is an impressive vacuum. It's versatile, lightweight, and extremely convenient. Also worth noting is that this vacuum is surprisingly quiet! Despite this lack of volume, it still packs quite a punch for a battery-powered vacuum! Unfortunately, the battery life itself is about the only aspect that has been disappointing so far. A fully-charged battery dropped down to one flashing bar of battery after 10-15 minutes while using the FurFinder attachment on full power. The FurFinder tool was fantastic for our couch and even an area rug that is particularly stubborn about holding onto cat hair. Having a cordless vacuum that can easily and thoroughly clean frequent pet-sheddings from a couch is a game-changer! It's much more convenient than pulling out a traditional vacuum (that also didn't work as well!). The FurFinder Headlights both helped to illuminate hidden hair & debris, and encouraged me to do a more thorough vacuuming! While this vacuum does a solid job of cleaning up most spots with a first-pass, this can really emphasize what needs a second go. This is an extremely convenient and easy vacuum to use. Being able to trust the vacuum to not fall over when you need to take a short break, is fantastic. The tangle-free brush roll helps minimize maintenance of the vacuum as well. I LOVE that it comes with a wall mount, and that the mount can charge the vacuum without having to remove the battery. It's a great way to guarantee you start every vacuum session with a full battery!
Efficient and Powerful Stick Vac
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a working mom with boys and a pet, I needed something fast and easy to help me clean. This vacuum was just that! I was overwhelmingly impressed with the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder stick vac! This vacuum is incredibly easy to use, with simply a power button and a button to toggle between three strengths. Assembly took me ~5 minutes, even with a toddler trying to "help". This vacuum does a great job with my hardwood floors and area rugs. It also got a ton of dog fur out of my carpeted steps. The various attachments enabled me to get dust from the corners of my walls/ceilings as well, which is something I haven't typically been able to access. As an unexpected bonus, attaching the smaller/shorter end made it the perfect height for my toddler to vacuum! The FurFinder Headlights make this product unique - It has lights on the front that reveal dirt/hair so you can see the areas needing attention. The lights also made it really fulfilling to see the dirt disappear. If I have to find a con, it's probably just that the materials feel a little cheaply made. It is not as sleek as other vacuums I've seen. However, that hasn't impacted the quality to date.
I love this product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the best vacuums I have ever used! We recently adopted a new puppy who has an absolute insane amount of hair. The fur finder headlights illuminated under chairs and the couch in order to vacuum and clean the rug. In fact, I left this vacuum out (tucked behind the chair) so I could use it daily. It was light enough for daily use and effective enough to quickly clean up after the newest member of our family! Even cleaning the couch was quick and easy— honestly, I feel like this should be a REQUIREMENT for all new dog owners!
It Gets the Job Done
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder every day for over two weeks; it has some excellent features that are tempered by a few issues. For the sake of brevity, below are my ratings. 1. Weight: 5/5 This vacuum is remarkably lightweight and easy to move around. I’ve always had an upright, corded vacuum so the experience of using a cordless version is great. This vacuum is light enough that my young children can actually pick it up and joyfully vacuum with it, which is a win/win for all of us. 2. Comfort/ergonomics: 2/5 The handle is pretty awful on this vacuum. After a longer vacuuming sprees I have to change hands just for some respite. Something about the way the bottom part of the handle presses on my knuckles makes it fairly painful to hold for long periods of time. 3. Headlights: 5/5 Almost too good. These lights are BRIGHT and they see EVERYTHING. The cracks, the gouges, the miniscule pieces of hair and lint—all is revealed. I’ve never had a vacuum with such great lights and I will say that I felt better about the cleanliness of my floors before I could see them like this. 4. Sturdiness: 4/5 The lightness of the vacuum is due, in part, to its aluminum frame. While this makes it super accessible and easy to lift, it also results in some serious squeaks after a few runs. Keep in mind that I am vacuuming quite a lot of footage at least once a day, so this vacuum has already seen some mileage. Anytime I rotate the head while vacuuming (like maneuvering it between chair legs or around a corner), the frame squeaks quite loudly. Nothing broken so far, but it complains loudly! 5. Battery Life and Charging: 4/5 I can vacuum my downstairs flooring (around 1700 sq ft) on the lowest setting within one battery charge, around 35-40 minutes. Obviously increasing the vacuuming strength will shorten the battery life, and I have noticed that the battery charge seems to deteriorate faster after the 1st battery bar goes down. However, the battery does charge quite quickly (within a couple of hours). 6. Effectiveness: 3/5 We have pugs, so there’s always plenty of dog hair to vacuum. The brush roll hasn’t tangled yet, and I have long hair so that’s been a problem with other vacuums. However, I have not noticed a significant difference in the amount of “stuff” sucked up while vacuuming with the PowerClean FurFinder versus my corded, upright, bag vacuum. In fact, it might not vacuum quite as well on hard floors as my other vacuum (for example, it had a hard time pulling up spilled dried lentils on wood floors; I had to make several passes to get the strays). It’s also not as powerful as I want it to be on our high-pile carpet, and its vacuum tracks are not as defined as I’d like. I will add that it's easy to separate and the handheld configurations work well for blinds, furniture, crevices, etc. 7. Dirt Cup: 3/5 The dirt cup is fine, for a bagless vacuum. You have to use two hands to empty it, which is kind of annoying, but it clicks in and out easily. I don’t see the point of having a sealed HEPA filtration system when you’re going to literally dump all the dirt and debris into a garbage sack and let those particles wander around in the air again. 8. Overall Assessment: 4/5 Overall, I’d recommend this vacuum but with some reservations. I don’t think it’s a great pick for large homes or for homes with a lot of high-pile carpet, and it might not be high on the list for people who are worried about allergies and air quality. I still feel like my heavier, corded vacuum does a better job pulling up traffic-worn carpet, but that’s probably more of an aesthetic issue than a cleaning one. However, the FurFinder is really very convenient thanks to its cordless and lightweight design; I’ve started keeping it downstairs, where I have the most hard flooring, and I love that I can reach for it and vacuum up crumbs and dirt so easily without the plug-in and cord hassle. I would recommend it for folks with limited storage room (you can mount the vacuum and charger on the wall to get it out of the way), or for families who want a handy, lightweight vacuum on hand for quick spills and clean-ups.
Lock and Load
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean FurFinder is a great product overall. Having used multiple battery operated vacuums in the past, the FurFinder is an easy to use product with some fantastic features. My favorite feature was the easy unload option once the vacuum was filled. In a house with two small children and two pets, we have plenty of small things and fur that needed to be unloaded quickly and it was the easiest of all the vacuums I've ever used which is super helpful. My only gripe is that I could use a little more power. There are three different speed or power modes on the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder and while you can tell there is a difference, I would like a but more juice personally. (Maybe I just need cleaner kids) While I know it won't ever be as strong as a corded vacuum, a little extra would go a long way. The lights on the front of the vacuum are great as well, helping to see what is in front or if there is something that I don't want sucked up, and overall, I am very pleased with the product as a whole. The ease of use was definitely my favorite feature and it will replace all other products that were previously being used.
The perfect vacuum for dog parents
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this vacuum! The cordless design makes it easy to maneuver around my home—there’s no way I could deal with cords in the middle of cleaning up after my kids. It’s perfect for quick messes, especially under the dining table where crumbs magically appear every day. My favorite feature? The built-in light! It makes it so easy to spot hair and debris—especially helpful in a house with a golden retriever and long-haired human (me). Watching all that pet hair get picked up is so satisfying. It works great on our laminate floors and handles daily messes like a champ. I’d definitely recommend it to any busy household with kids or pets!
My New Favorite Vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean FurFinder is my new favorite vacuum. As soon as I used it it was getting up so much fur, dust and crumbs way more than my other vacuum, especially on our wood floor. The reason why I am giving it 4 stars is because it didn’t do the best job of getting all the small crumbs off our rugs that our dogs bring in. I would have to go over it a few times and some of the crumbs would still be there. The FurFinder Headlights were incredible and helped highlight all the fur and debris. Without them I would have thought nothing was there and then as soon as I used the vacuum, it would show everything. The vacuum was very easy to use, lightweight, and I love that it can stand on its own (one of my favorite features). Also, it’s nice you can leave the stick vacuum attachment standing up to empty the dispenser. I especially like the hanging wall charger so I can store it off the floor. We live in a 1200 SF house and we were able to vacuum our first floor multiple times before needing to charge it. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder.
