Fridge performs well and looks nice. It was hooked up to electric and water supply, let the fridge sit for 30 mins to ensure no drips from the supply line, then pushed back into the surrounding cabinetry enclosure. 7 days later, we noticed the floor was raised up in areas near the fridge. we pulled it out and it was spraying from the water supply connection point. a company had to come in immediately and tear everything up and put in 8 units to move air and dry it out to mitigate any mold growth. needless to say, we have to replace half our subfloor, which means the top layer as well. during this process, we disconnected and reconnected the line 5 times to see if we could make it not leak. tried new fittings and gaskets 3 of those times. always leaks. it seems the housing you thread onto was very cheap and thin. i believe it has a crack in its own threads. It wasnt over torqued at initial install. Maybe the simple pressure/resistance from the supply line as it was pushed into place stressed it. its 2 months exactly from the date of purchase. i still need to get with LG to see if they will warranty or cover any of this. ive been dealing with the insurance claim and living in a house that has a kitchen with no floor. contractors finally started this week (good luck finding contractors to do a job immediately!). i try to stick with LG with most appliances, tvs, etc.. ill find out how good their customer service is this week. back to the rating. 3 stars because of the appearance and craft ice. it does have cheap thin "stainless" on it. already has 2 slight dings on the bottom front due to having to get so many air movers and dehumidifiers around it. got bumped by one and that happened. shouldn't have dented due to that. so, yeah, cheaply made, i bought an LG stove the same day and hope it is better built. ill find out when i have a kitchen again and get to use it.. im very disappointed and hope i can get this figured out.

Bought this frig because I wanted a side by side with black stainless finish. While I found the knock on glass to be a con it was the only frig I could find that had my other prerequisite so we bought it. I’m not sure why anyone wants to see a bunch of condiment bottles thru the door but even when the light is off you can still see the bottles of stuff. I would have preferred all black stainless. I love the room in this frig/freezer and so far the ice maker is working well for us , I drink lots of ice water and when we had a crowd this past weekend it kept up! The craft ice is nice but I wish that it was just a backup ice maker! Seems like the frig is missing a drawer as I am used to a deli drawer a fruit and an additional veggie drawer and this frig has only two drawers but the shelf space is adequate for everything. I hated the last two freezers we had the drawer type and things got lost in the pile at the bottom and back of the freezer. So much happier with good ole side by side.

I liked the style and look of this refrigerator and the storage room. At first I was concerned that it would not hold as much as my French door style but it has plenty of room. I have had it for a month and so far I am very happy. At first I had issues with the ice maker not producing so I contacted customer service and found them to be helpful and resolved the issue for me. So after a month of use I am happy with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this item almost a year ago and have experienced issues in this short period of time. The first issue is the craft icemaker stopped making ice. The second issue is the a strange chemical smell.

I have had my new gorgeous fridge for a few weeks now so I’m still getting to know it lol . I still miss my deli draw but made it happen with containers on one of the shelves , so I can make anything work and move on but when you get water it does seem to drip and leave a water mark which is no big deal I wipe it but for some it might be a deal breaker . The craft ice is a huge winner for me I even put it in my glass of water -some have said it’s loud when making the ice but I get excited I have new ones waiting for me ! so far I like the shelving and drawers waiting on my first holiday to really test it’s abilities , the door shelves are deep and hold a lot which gives me more space on the inside shelves . So far very happy with my new fridge .

So far, about 2 months old since installed, it's been a very nice appliance that is roomy, easy accessible to food and looks great. Loving the crushed ice and water, which I miss having before. Hopefully, no future problems, because I really like this refrigerator.

I have only had this refrigerator a few weeks but it is exactly what I wanted ! My only cons are the water doesn’t come out very cold at all.I’m not sure if thi is normal but it’s seems like it should be extremely cold since it comes from the freezer side of the fridge.The ice and water dispenser makes a mess and it doesn’t have a drip pan/tray to catch excess water and ice.

We have had this fridge for a year. It’s very nice looking. The craft ice machine is amazing. Although it started making one big ice chunk instead of balls. It’s spacious and when the glass shelves shattered LG promptly sent a replacement. Customer service was excellent.

We bought this 10 months ago and have had to have the ice dispenser serviced twice already. The first time the service guy obviously had no idea what he was doing but the second guy was much better. So far it seems to be working much better. Thank goodness it was still under warranty!

I love how sturdy and heavy the fridge feels. The most important feature; the food stays cold as it should. The craft ice maker is not what we were expecting (waiting for a repair person to take a look at it). It is loud, the ice balls are not round, and often they stick to the ice tray. The knocking feature to illuminate the fridge through the door is an unnecessary feature for us.
