Some interesting points about this item: 1. Easy to install. Best if you have a rubber mallot to tap shelves into place. 2. This unit assembles as a single 6 shelf unit on wheels or on adjustable feet. 3. This unit can be assembled as two 3 shelf units - one on casters/wheels the other on adjustable feet. 4. the unit on casters has a total limit of 500 lbs or 3600 lbs if not using the wheels. I am not sure if this is a missprint or not. But what is interesting is that you can morph this unit into what suits you best. For me I have a single 4 shelf unit on casters. No tools required, but a rubber mallot is helpful. A regular hammer might chip the finish.

Prefer prior model with shiny chrome finish and no odor. Current model is a dull looking metal. Odor that lasts for days on shelving pieces and poles. We have yet to have the odor dissipate completely. Poles have what can only describe as old medicine odor on inside. Smelling that made our odor sensitive allergy member ill. Days waiting for it to go away. Sunlight, hot building, soap and water - inside and flushed inside of tubes ... goes down but won't go away. These aren't the racks I bought in the past, of which I have many. The shelves are heavy, the finish is dull, and they give off an odor that has yet to go away. Bought a shelf rack from another website. No odor out the box. Shiny chrome look like prior models of Member's Mark shelving. Replacement rack cost more, had one less shelf, and wider spaced wires on each shelf. Wires look a little thinner too. No odor and can use it right out the box. Done with Member's Mark shelving at this time. If you don't mind the odor, by all means, enjoy. For us, it's an allergy issue.

I bought one of these several years ago. Then I decided one was not nearly enough. I think I have purchased at least seven of these over the years and truth be told I would love to order at least two more. The quality is excellent. I would not want to try it but I bet you could exceed the 600 pound limit on these. I like the fact that I can roll them around easily. I have some of these in my garage and if I need to make space for a project I just roll these out of the way. the wheels are lockable which is another thing I like about these. Sam's has an excellent price on these. I've seen shelves similar to these elsewhere but lower in quality and much higher in price. Honestly I do not see how sam's can sell these at the price they do.

These are good shelves but almost every one arrived damaged. There is no protective packaging. The shelves are simply in a cardboard box and bang around during the trip which strips the finish and some were even bent. If you don't expect perfection these are good shelves. I've purshased about 10 of these. Maybe 1 or 2 arrived in good condition.

I love these shelves. I would say very simple to install...but not something I would want to rearrange the shelves often as they are heavy and easier to adjust with 2 people and a rubber mallet. I own at least 8 of them for my small business and have a few in my garage at home. I've yet to have one break and we put some heavy stuff on it with constant use. built to last!

I bought this to use for my seed starting in the spring. It has worked wonderfully. I can move the plants to sun, easily turn and rearrange the shelves. As the plants grew it was easy to reconfigure the shelf heights. When the plants are finally planted in the garden, this will transition to my craft space to house project materials. I am pleased with this shelf. I was able to set it up by myself in about 20 minutes time, and I am a female, 5’6”, in her 50s. The most challenging part was moving the boxed product from the front porch (it was delivered on time to my home) through the front door.

I got about a dozen of these for our warehouse and shop and they are perfect. They are built well, very sturdy (and heavy) and easy to assemble. We are about 45 miles from the nearest Sams Club and they were about $99 there, I had them deliver them instead of me using my gas $$ not to mention they are HEAVY and they only came to about $102 including the shipping - great deal!! And the carrier brought them in and everything, all we had to do was cut open the boxes and assemble. As for the quality, they are surprisingly sturdy and heavyweight. We also own a restaurant and they are much better quality than most of the ones we can get through restaurant supply and about 1/2 the price. I would definitely recommend these to anyone whose needs fall within the weight guidelines.

I purchased tonight in store, due to the horror stories about these racks being delivered. My mistake. Hauled this rack all the way home, and upstairs, to discover two of the shelves are bent beyond repair. Contacted online support, and was told that they can only assist delivery customers. After a lot of consideration, decided there's no way I'm lugging this behemoth all the way back to the store. I'm now owner of 2/3rds of a rack system, as the other two shelves are scrap metal. I'm sure it was packed this way, as I purposely picked the most beautiful box from within the stack at the store, but either way, I've payed stupid tax, and will now be assembling any future purchase of these racks, in the store's parking lot, before bringing home. That'd be my suggestion for you, if you want to avoid a headache.

First shipment. Box was severely damaged with rips and holes. Broken plastic pieces fell out of the hole while carrying it to the garage. Sent back for replacement. 2nd shipment i received someone elses return. Package was already opened and taped up. They couldnt repackage it so that thr top box flaps will close all the way.

We have several dozens of these units collected over a couple decades. We install four shelves on each rack and hang the extra shelves on "S" hooks between the units making 3-rack super-units. Then we store most equipment in Rubbermaid tubs. Everything is clean, neat and easily identified. These are the biggest bargain in the shelving business.
