This is the third shelf unit I have purchased of these. I have a very small kitchen so I have lined the shelving units up along one wall of my spare room and I use that as my pantry space. The quality is very good and the wheels allow me to move it away from the wall if something falls in the back or to sweep behind it. I wish everything in my house was so easy to move.

The size and sturdiness of the unit is great, however, I only have 1 star bc of all the sharp edges on the rack that caused me to cut my hand. There were alot of random pieces of metal that weren't grinded off. I was also sent a returned unit which clearly wasn't gone through bc parts were rolling around scratching other parts and there was an empty wrapper inside. I returned it and am probably going to try 1 more time in hopes of it being a fluke. The box is extremely heavy so I hope not to have to keep moving it.

Arrived damaged, appears that someone dropped it on the edge and some of the holes were no longer circular. I contacted customer service and was told i did not have to return it, and another one would be shipped. Next I received an email indicating I had to return it. Assuming my customer service rep was correct, I ignored the email. Now, I'm being told that he was wrong. I do have to return it. It's half put together (3 shelves were okay), and the box has been thrown away. It is too heavy to pick up, but thankfully Sam's Club will have a shipper to pick it up as it is (no box, half put together) for return. I guess it could have been worse.

I knew the packaging was poor so not surprised it was delayed at Ferderal Express. After a week and multiple calls, Ferderal Express repackaged and delivered. Unfortunately, missing a part. I e- mailed and they sent the part that did not fit. This unit is built 3 different countries as I found when they sent me the part. Ended up using as 2 short shelving units. Well built unit For the money but not worth the hassle.

Not sure why the Members Mark shelving requires a small threaded connection, most of the others don't. Mine was likely a return, and had been cannabalized. Opened box, missing parts, even extra parts. I will say that working through the system, I was able to receive correct connections, rare.

We now have seven of these shelving units in our basement. Manufacturer needs to improve packaging to protect the six thin plastic shelf liners from damage during shipping/handling of a two-person lift very heavy cardboard carton. Three of the six shelf liners are damaged as 3"x1" sections of the shelf liners were "sheared off" from the sides of the 48"x18" shelf liners. I am asking Sam's Club to help me work with the manufacturer who has a burdensome warranty policy/procedure that includes returning damaged goods at my expense. All I want are three new replacement shelf liners rolled up and protected with bubble wrap on both ends in a cubic box before being shipped to me.

Super sturdy & you can easily adjust shelves to any height & spacing you want. Easy to assemble, not tools needed. After attaching the wheels to the 4 vertical posts I would suggest installing a couple of shelves before attaching the the other 4 vertical posts.

This item was delivered to my home and I immediately took it out of the box and began setting it up. I was almost completely finished when I realized that one of the bars was bent so, I could not complete the set up. I called SAMs and they were extremely helpful in assisting me with an exchange. Fed ex came the next day to pick the product up and the replacement rack followed 3 days later. I set it up in 15 minutes and have been extremely happy with my new rack.

I purchased this yesterday and today laid out all the pieces as directed. In doing so, found one of the bottom posts was defective in that the threaded insert had been installed in the wrong end and the wheel insert was the incorrect thickness on the other end. We tried to figure out how to make it work if we skipped the double line on the 3 good posts, but they did not line up so the shelves would not be level. I called the number on the back of the instructions and was on hold for 20 minutes and then got auto disconnected. I then called my local store and explained the situation and asked if i could just bring back the defective piece and have someone open another box and give me a good post and return the package by adding the defective piece. She said no, I could bring the whole unit back for refund and purchase another one. She said I might try main Customer Service number for Sam's and so I called them. When I finally got through to a real person, they suggested I call the Members Mark Customer Service No. so I did that. A 30 minute hold until I got a real person. This CSR said they could order me the replacement part through the mfr but it would be 10 to 15 days. I remind you that I have methodically unpacked every component and it is strewn on my garage floor. The other option was to return the entire system and exchange for another unit. He gave me a reference no to do that. I told him I am 75 years old and I would have to load up the individual pieces, (the shelves are very heavy) and then would I have to unload when I got to my store and he said yes. This return system is totally unacceptable. A mfr should expedite shipping of a defective component and Sams should make that part of the Purchasing Agreement they have with a mfr. Rather than take a chance on exchanging a unit and finding another defective or missing component(s), I decided to pick up another unit, bring it home, open the box in the back of my car and get out the post to replace the defective one and then return that system, still in the original packaging, for a refund. At least while still in the box, I could take my neighbor, who would help me lift the 120lb box out of my suv onto a flat cart. I won't be buying anything requiring assembly from Sams again.

These came highly recommended by a friend, and I really like them, too. I found them difficult to put together--it's awkward to get started, the instructions are not clear, and I think the first one I put together is not as solid as it could be. But the second one was much easier and faster, and it is very solid. (Hints: It's easier to put the casters/wheels on AFTER it's assembled, contrary to the written instructions. Otherwise it just rolls around while you put it together. And make sure the locking plastic clips are really together and snug in place before adding the shelves. You WILL want to use a rubber mallet....) I really like that I can roll it around easily, which means I can line them out and pull one out as I need to access it. For the money, these are handsome, solid units, and I recommend them.
