Such a fantastic product. I live in South Carolina and regularly feed my grass mid summer. Scott's products have always helped my centipede lawn look it's best. Follow the directions, and with a little TLC, you can have the best yard in your neighborhood!

I have been using this product for over 25 years when I bought my first home. One can rely on Scott's quality and reputation for successful gardening and lawn care. I have never been disappointed with the results after using Turf Builder as well as other Scott's products. My wife is a believer in Miracle - Gro and uses it every growing season. A fine family of products that are dependable and good value.

I do not have any complaints about the effectiveness of this product. It works fine. My complaint is that Scotts only will include spreader settings for their spreaders. I don't have a Scotts spreader and I don't plan on buying one. That's why I won't recommend the product.

I have used Scotts for over 40 years and Turf Builder is by far the best Lawn Fertilizer for my specific turf. I have a mix of St. Augustine and Centipede grass. Turf Builder provides the pop that I look for every Spring and throughout the year. Highly recommend this product.

Scott products tend to cost more than the competition's, and definitely more so than "private label" products offered through farm products retailers. This said, even a homeowner like myself (i. e., not a horticulturalist or landscaper) can repeatedly get superior results with Scott's "Turf Builder". In fact, after using "Turf Builder" almost exclusively for the past fifteen years (I have tried a time or two to save a few dollars and go with a private label/bargain product, and/or to save a half hour or so and pay a "professional" lawn care company to spray my yard), I no longer even find the need to apply weed inhibitors or herbicides, as the turf is sufficiently healthy to choke out problem elements. Again, I'm a homeowner who scoots out during half-times and seventh-inning-stretches, applies "Turf Builder" to my KY Bluegrass yard (in Ohio), without necessarily applying under "ideal" conditions, and I still get excellent results by fertilizing four to five times per season. My yard always appears better than the surrounding neighbors, who try to rely on either budget products, or lawn care "professionals". I won't go on. Buy the stuff -- it works, and you do in fact get what you pay for, provided you're after a healthy, lush and green yard to begin with.

Great product to use to get your lawn season off to a fantastic start. After applying this product in late march, with lime to bring up the ph level after a wet winter, my lawn is the talk of the block. This product works so well my neighbors ask what is my secret. I tell them scotts fertilizers can't be beat. Want outstanding results? Dethatch, aerate, and over seed the area the same day you apply fertilizer. Water in at least once a day for two weeks, then sit back and watch the magic. Also a great product to use in the fall after you repair the areas that got torn up during the hot summer months.

I had great grass. Everyone would compliment it and then I got over zealous and used this horrible product. I use very little and it burnt all my grass. Slow brown spots turned into most of the grass turning Yellow. I read many reviews like this. Never again will I use Scott's.

Followed directions as stated in the bag and when I go look at my lawn the next day it had brown patches all over my yard. Horrible product if I would have known I would have never used it! It burned all of my grass I would of never expected it specially when the bag clearly states you can use it ANY SEASON and NO BURNING GURANTEED!!! Don't waste your money!

I'm in my 5th home in 27 years and I've only used Scotts lawn care products at each home! I thought I would need to re-sod four of the homes front and back lawns. I used several of the Scotts weed control spray products and the 4 step program at each home and they saved my lawns. The products also saved me time, labor and money! Scotts Turf Builder products are the only products my lawn will see and absorb into their healthy root system!
