I've used this product twice with the expected results of increased greenness and fullness of my lawn without killing or browning any of it. It is also nice that you can apply it rain or shine. It is easy to apply with rotary spreader.

I had used and loved the Scotts weed and feed on my primary homes yard so when my rental house yard looked a bit anemic, I put Scotts turf builder on it. It almost instantly looked greener but after a couple of rains it started to fill in and now I have a beautiful thick green yard. Great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Applied to my lawn after 6 weeks since I planted the sods (that looked great by that time!) and after few days areas in the lawn started to dry out, some areas started to be sticky and burned looking. I now washed it from my lawn (hopefully all of it) and will not use it again.

I would have to be the most dedicated person I know when it comes to my lawn. This year is the best for me because I apply this safe food to my lawn. Any season any lawn can not make it anymore clear on automatically choosing the best food for my front and backyards.Because of applying every time my lawn is cut, which is every week, small amounts of course, My lawn has no weeds, is a very deep green, thick, gorgeous! I take very much pride in my yard and this summer it truly looks its best!

Have been using the 4-5 step program for 20+ yrs, but this year decided to use just TurfBuilder twice and then will put on TB Winterizer in Nov/Dec time frame. Yard looks great in spite on reduced rainfall this summer (I have watered 5 to 6 times this summer). Neighbors routinely comment on how nice our yard looks!

I have used Scott's products for over 40 years and have always been very satisfied by the results. The few times I used a cheaper store brand, I had problems with lawn burning and fair results. Recently I used an old Scotts product (probably 14 or 15 years old) that had hidden behind more recent fertilizer bags, that had hardened in the bag. I spent time to break up the clumps so the spreader could handle it. The results from this old product were significantly better than the new formulations. Also, the spreader settings worked well, which they do not for the new formulations. Although the products are good, it appears from my experience, the old formulations performed better and the spreader setting actually worked.

I've been using the Turf Builder three times a year and my lawn looks great all year. The late Fall application keeps the grass green through the winter, the early Spring application keeps the weeds out. I had tried other brands and I just didn't get the results I wanted. One brand burned the grass and left a yellow band of burned grass on the lawn. Another seemed to fertilize the weeds more than the grass. The Turf Builder is just the best!
