Unpleasantly arduous. Compared to previous years, the software is becoming more incoherent and less helpful. The diminishing concern with self-help tools in favor of the constant push for "personal help" is predatory and unwelcome.

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years using many states and duty stations and this year had a heck of a time with errors. I do taxes for all my family members and caused me research many entries. It too twice as long as previous years.

Help function didn't work. No where to enter information. Also, no where could I find how to apply my federal refund to my estimated taxes. Had to go back and print out the ES forms. Not very user friendly.

The changes to RMD are unnecessary and confusing. Why do you have to switch to forms to mark something as ESTIMATED now. Seems it gets more cumbersome every year. And enough with all the upselling.

Information needed to file was not ready until later in the filing season. Needs to make updates every time you log in to see if the information is ready and to add more information.,

Has always worked well for me for thirteen years. I prefer the desktop version. I would like to see forms 1041 and IT-205 included as I just set up a trust for my dependents and can't justify paying for the pro version for a very basic return.

All are good except navigating from return to forms, it seems confusing. It saved multiple copies of tax data file in my directory, How did this happen? Or, how i can avoid it?

Great product. Perhaps add a prompt to option on applying refund to estimated tax for following year. It's an easy search in the help screen but should probably be a radio button option.

I couldn't do my taxes without Turbo Tax. However, when filling out Form 1099-NEC, it wouldn't let me put in the same state for state tax withheld and state tax income. I had to edit the actual 1099-NEC form so that I could continue.
