I lost $55 of my Federal Refund due to hidden costs in Payment Options. I have seen many complaints about this same problem. Doubt if I will use Turbo Tax in the future

Could not get Audit Defense Payment screen to accept a credit card expiration date higher than 08. My card was 09. I re-checked all my information 4 times. I had to use a different credit card

I find contributing to IRAs very confusing. How much you can contribute to an IRA depends on your MAGI. This should be readily visible within TurboTax when you're filling in IRA information.

TURBO TAX TRIES TO MAKE TAXES AS COMPLICATED AS POSSIBLE. HOW MANY WORKSHEETS DO YOU HAVE TO PREPARE???? MOST OF THEM ARE ABSOLUTELY NOT NECESSARY. THEY ONLY SUPPORT YOUR AGENDA TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE TAXES CAN NO LONGER BE DONE WITHOUT YOUR SOFTWARE.

I was shocked to start my tax preparation only to discover that you eliminated It's Deductible. This will be the last year that I purchase your software.

Always liked TruboTax, makes taxes easy to do, downloads complex investment documents to ensure accuracy. Easy to use, have not needed to call the help line yet, Using with Windows computer...will need to try on a Linux machine some year.

I had three W-2s to deal with (one was a W-2c for corrections), and I think it would have been beneficial to submit the copies as PDFs to the IRS in order for them to review, and ensure the 1040 was accurately annotated.

I was going along pretty well until I had to put the state. There is a drop-down menu which didn't include Tennessee. That was a Pain! Plus, the translation from PDF to Word was a mess.

This was not a good year for turbo tax. Some of the forms/schedules were so complex and had no hyperlinks to verify you were entering the correct data. I still don't know if I entered the data into form 1116 - foreign taxes - correctly.

The investment sections downloads from various institutions is flawed. Quite a bit of required information is left off, and then has to be manually entered. That is not what I expect from a $100+ piece of software
