All was good until I got my return back and had you to take out the fees for efiling was only suppose to be about 40.00 wound up being 500.00 through green dot took over half of my return. If i had known that i would have paid with credit card.

TurboTax is not quite up to date on Massachusetts tax exempt teachers' retirement form. It didn't ask whether this was exempt from state taxes. I had to dig through the forms to place the correct code on the form 1099-R.

I had difficulty understanding the input pages for entering my IRA RMDs. I knew what needed to be on the 1040 and had to try several different things in order to get the correct numbers out of the system.

I was a little disappointed in the 2025 edition primarily because it lacked the Deduct It feature and I found it more difficult go back and searching forms than in the past.Not as good as in the past

Turbo Tax Software should be able to keep track of imported previous years and check for errors in claiming dependents and education expense credits and deductions.

Great product. Perhaps add a prompt to option on applying refund to estimated tax for following year. It's an easy search in the help screen but should probably be a radio button option.

We have a simple return. We used the import feature for all the companies that have it. One form was missed even though we clicked the box to import it, not sure why. We entered the form manually.

I like TurboTax, but it needs the option to zoom to a larger font. The new icons for interest income are ridiculous. You "dumbed down" the software too much in 2025. The 2024 interest income screen was better organized and easier to use.

Wasn't too thrilled about the charitable donation section. Couldn't we upload a spreadsheet of our donations instead of having to list each and every one of them.

the $45 is a rip off - there was no explanation and it's not a mandatory service. it should have been a CLEAR explanation that if using the refund to pay for TT, $45 would apply. BAD business model
