interface between federal and state has serious breakdowns, data that had been entered in ferderal forms had to be reentered for state. Was not necessary last year.

I find Turbo Tax to be a very excellent. The ease of their step by step system makes the process stress-free and easy to understand and complete. They are always up to date on the newest tax laws and rules.

The brokerage download was a little cumbersome this year than i remember it in the past. But otherwise, it was the standard TurboTax experience and I would NEVER change to another program

OK but the desktop experience is worse than the past especially handling 1099's. Seems like trying to coerce users to switch to using on-line version but may backfire as some users like me might bite the bullet and switch to another solution.

Everything went well until I tried to add 2 1099-R forms and it wasn't apparent where the problem was. I called your very good customer service and eventually all was figured out with the assistance of your Tech Jerri (sp?)

I found the flow of the topics and questions made sense and kept me on track. I did have an issue with 1099-R box 14 but just continued to ask questions and received the answer - LOOK AT BOC 16.

PUSHING A $40 PROCESSING FEE ON federal return when trying to use the one state efile is crazy when I was to get 5 free federal returns. I should get the $40 back for my daughter paid the fee by mistake

TurboTax is user-friendly and handles relatively complex tax filings. TurboTax made handling of foreign taxes and dividends much easier than in previous years. They were responsive to my input that I sent in.

Attempting to paste to TT boxes from Excel spreadsheets yields error message "too many characters or invalid characters." Unable to paste is a real pain that has existed seemingly forever.

The interface was very awkward this year. Felt like I was being pressured to use online when it clearly won't do the job and opens up a high risk of data being stolen.
