I have been using TurboTax for many years when I am preparing tax returns. Very reliable product and I have engaged with TurboTax experts and the support has been excellent.

Navigation is worse than with prior versions in the income section regarding interest, dividends, and other 1099 income. The big block buttons are cumbersome, and the lists within each are space wasters.

The changes to RMD are unnecessary and confusing. Why do you have to switch to forms to mark something as ESTIMATED now. Seems it gets more cumbersome every year. And enough with all the upselling.

As a retiree my return is not overly complicated except for investment data. Downloading directly from the financial management company made quick work of my return.

Attempting to paste to TT boxes from Excel spreadsheets yields error message "too many characters or invalid characters." Unable to paste is a real pain that has existed seemingly forever.

The constant push to get me to use the online version was annoying. I started there but found it lacked many of the features of the desktop version, such as being able to go to any form you like.

My efile was rejected twice because of missing IP PINs. Thi9s should have been caught during the review process. After it was rejected once, the TurboTax instructions to fix the problem was totally inadequate and incorrect.

Only a couple times in last 10 years has it found last years return. This year brokerage statements, despite changing all computer and browser settings to the most vulnerable, would download but wouldn't populate Turbo. Tried four times.

When entering information from w-2's or 1099's, if I choose to enter the information myself stop asking if I want to have Turbo Tax automatically get the information from the source after I answer I want to enter my own information three times.
