[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this stud finder too difficult for my taste. The other type that used batteries is a much better option in my opinion. This stud finder relies on a magnet to find the screws used to install your Sheetrock. I know where the studs are in parts of my walls, such as near the outlets and light switches. Using this magnet type stud finder, I had a hard time even finding studs that were quite obvious. If you have the patience to move this all over the wall to find a stud, then by all means purchase this. I use the battery operated ones without issue and they quickly locate a stud without up and down motion and without zig zagging all over the wall.

This was not accurate. I had to have someone else come fix the tv mount. When they used their stud finder which actually located the edges on the screen and the middle of the stud, my stud finder was off and placed the center on the edge of the stud, which is why my screw wouldn’t stay. I saw just buy a stud finder which identifies the middle on the screen.

This gem is going to be my best friend when it comes time to locate a much-needed stud due to the weight of what I'm hanging. I move wall decor around from time to time and this will be a huge help rather than cross my fingers and guess. It even has 2 small levels which makes this PERFECT!!! Well made and easy to handle. So glad I have it in my "house tools" now.

My husband and I were doing some renovations/diys around the house and we needed a stud finder for a few of the projects and we lucked in to getting this one and it worked perfectly. The magnets are very strong and the stud finder itself is very heavy duty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good stud finder. You can probably find something a bit better. The magnet could be a little bit stronger. It does come with a built in level both horizontal and vertical. Also a small ruler on the stud finder. It did work on my finished walls and I did try it on particle wood I have unpainted in my laundry room. Overall it does what it claims.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had just built us a new house. And I'm ready to hang pictures and decore up. I told my hubby to be in the safe side I was ordering a stud finder, to help locate The studs. I have hung decor and roughly around 50 or so pictures. It hasn't let me down Yet. Its very simple tool, that anyone can use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Did very well for me being a beginner. I have never used a stud finder before and it was really amazing how it was able to help me find the studs with the nails and that way I was able to hang up my pictures and put up some shelving in the house. I have been very pleased with it only sometimes I can’t get it to “stick to the wall right but I didn’t find that to be a real problem. I highly recommend this product for anyone who needs to hang pictures, shelves etc. in their house. I highly recommend it to my friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item is very handy. The magnets grab tight to screws or nails in the wall. There is a horizontal and vertical level on the stud buddy making it perfect for helping to hang items on the wall. So much better than a stud finder that just beeps when it locates a stud. This item will find your stud and hang on the wall on its own, thereby freeing up your hand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only used this item once, but it did the job. The magnet finds the nails or screws that were used to fasten the drywall to the studs. There are two levels on it as well to help finding the rest of the stud or even to hang a few pictures even with each other. Works well.
