[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] "Whoa! That's cool!" was the response of both my husband and I when we each tried out the StudBuddy Plus Magnetic Stud Finder. Simply move the StudBuddy along the wall as instructed and let it do the rest. You'll know when you find the stud as there is a definite pull and stop from the magnets finding the nails. The levelers are great for making sure you get straight lines when hanging any hardware, televisions, cabinets, pictures, and a whole lot more. There are standard American and metric measuring rulers located along the two long sides of the StudBuddy. This is a great and handy gadget to have around.

My husband and I were doing some renovations/diys around the house and we needed a stud finder for a few of the projects and we lucked in to getting this one and it worked perfectly. The magnets are very strong and the stud finder itself is very heavy duty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The StudBuddy Plus can be a very useful tool for multiple uses around the home and even in some trade situations. There are two level bubbles. One for horizontal leveling and one for vertical leveling. On the edges, there are rulers. Inches on one side and metrics on the other side. The instructions tell you to scan the wall from side to side to find studs. That sounds great, but that's not the way it really works. You can't find wooden studs with this stud finder. You can only find nails or screws that are in the studs, using the magnets on the StudBuddy. If used to find metal studs, it should work as advertised. While the packaging says The StudBuddy Plus works with all drywall construction, in theory, it should work with wood panels or other types of wall board. So long as their are metallic nails or screws in those types of wall board.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first, this stud finder seemed a little "cheap" and outdated but once we read the packaging and tested it out, it's not bad. It's not the electronic kind that beeps or has a screen but it does stick to the wall when it finds a nail in a stud - so it does it's job! And since you dont have to worry about replacing batteries, it should last forever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very skeptical about this stud finder. To my amazement it worked very well. You need to do long narrow swipes but it worked great. Now I don't need to tap on the walls in hopes of finding the studs just to find my hearing was off and poking un needed holes in the walls with nails. The 2 levels on it are a great idea for leveling picture, art work and wall decor. you can also use the level in other applications other than on the wall. Definitely recommend this for ease of use, dependability and price.

I told my hubby to be in the safe side I was ordering a stud finder, to help locate The studs. I have hung decor and roughly around 50 or so pictures. It hasn't let me down Yet. Its very simple tool, that anyone can use.

There is a horizontal and vertical level on the stud buddy making it perfect for helping to hang items on the wall. So much better than a stud finder that just beeps when it locates a stud. This item will find your stud and hang on the wall on its own, thereby freeing up your hand.

Finds wood and metal studs. It has a ruler in inches, and centermeters on both sides. Even works in manufactured homes. Made in the USA. I highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a stud finder and it was OK but nothing special a little hard to use and definitely had a learning curve to it. But then I’ve never used a stud finder before so the learning curve might be my own personal fault. It is a little plasticky but like it doesn’t really matter you don’t need a sturdy stud finder and they’re not used all that often anyhow.

We use to find the wood beams to hang up paintings and to find the beams in the ceiling. Using this makes out job much easier. Great price for product. Tool itself is made of a sturdy plastic outer shell. Easy turn on and off.
