This gem is going to be my best friend when it comes time to locate a much-needed stud due to the weight of what I'm hanging. I move wall decor around from time to time and this will be a huge help rather than cross my fingers and guess. It even has 2 small levels which makes this PERFECT!!! Well made and easy to handle. So glad I have it in my "house tools" now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Studbuddy This tool is amazing. My husband took it over when we got home. He didn't believe it would work as well as the package exclaimed.. So he went around the house testing it out and it DOES work, exceptionally well. He was surprised. Not only can it detect the studs, you can also use it as a level. While it does not detect the "wood" from the stud, it does detect the nails. At least that's how we think it works. It has really strong magnets and will stick to anything metal. A huge plus when trying to find somewhere to hang a very large and heavy shelf or picture. It will stick to the wall which makes it very easy to mark where you need to. Apparently it doesn't take a battery either which is cost saving. All in all we are very pleased to have received this product. Hope this helps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a stud finder and it was OK but nothing special a little hard to use and definitely had a learning curve to it. But then I’ve never used a stud finder before so the learning curve might be my own personal fault. It is a little plasticky but like it doesn’t really matter you don’t need a sturdy stud finder and they’re not used all that often anyhow.

The levels on this one makes it a lot more useful for hanging photos and things like that! I used the StudBuddy plus to find a stud and hang up some art in our nursery. The levels were a huge help in that. Overall I really liked this one and will probably use it any time I need to actually hang things up on my wall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The StudBuddy Plus Magnetic Stud Finder Is a really good magnetic stud finder. I have another brand that senses the stud behind the Sheetrock however it has a lot of trouble sensing the stud if you hit a bump or your finger slips off the button. The Stud Buddy doesn’t have that problem, you just slowly rub it across the wall and the magnet hunts for something the attach to. In most homes when it does the magnet is strong enough to hold and stay in place. However you that depends on the depth of the screw or nail and how much putty and or paint is over it so you will have to kind of test it out. Now you most likely won’t have a nail or screw right where you need it so you can use the level on the stud buddy or mark two places with tape and then use a straight edge to get a straight line up to where you want to put a screw to hang a picture or what ever your hanging. The stud buddy also has a small ruler with inch on one side and cm on the other side along with two bubble levels. If you need something not too expensive this in a very good magnetic stud finder. As you can see in the pictures it hangs on the wall just find.

There are two levels on it as well to help finding the rest of the stud or even to hang a few pictures even with each other. Works well.
