Easiest stud finder ever. We had the expensive one from the hardware store and it was frustrating and didn't work half the time.

I almost bought an expensive magnet stud finder and i read the reviews and how this work. I'm so glad I bought this one, I didn't need all of the extra's in a gadget that I have no use for. This was easy to use, found the level to be helpful so I could hang my storage cabinet correctly. Price was even better! Don't waste your money on fancy gadgets, this does the job and easy to use!

first of all, I put 5 stars for the battery, which is a magnet....which doesn't die on you. the StudBuddy Plus Magic Stud Finder keeps you from putting more holes in your wall than you need to. it stops as soon as you cross a stud with nails...let it go and it stays there. it even has two levels built in. If you can't find a wall stud with this, you might need to call Bob Villa.

This really works! No more guessing with my Stanley stud finder that periodically works. When you slide it side to side, slightly changing your angle, it stops at a stud and stays there.

Magnets are not strong enough!! Very disappointed especially because of the price.

This was a great addition to my tool box. This is more reliable than non magnetic stud finders. Easy to use.

Recently moved to an older apartment building and needed to find the studs. This worked well and was the right price.

Works well , good price. Just don't try to store it in your toolbox being it's a magnetic everything sticks to it.
