I have chronic diarrhea for 30 yrs now. can't possibly describe the money I continue to spend on this product. It usually takes close to a week to stop the symptoms, so I buy an awful lot of it. I agree whole heartedly about the packaging being very hard to open. I always have to use scissors. Please, PLEASE start selling bottles of 100...!!

Imodium (loperamine) is the best product for controlling diarrhea but buy it in the tablet for that comes loose in a bottle. The tiny tablet is easier to swallow than the big rubbery gelcap and contains the same amount of the actual drug. And you don't have to use tools to extricate each gelcap from its hard-to-open sealed pocket. Putting this tiny drug into a big gelcap is just a marketing ploy; individually packaging gelcaps on cards in an unnecessary box may attract more attention on the sales shelf, and the naive consumer may think she is getting more for her money. Further, gelcaps will melt in a hot car and hog space if you carry basic meds and vitamins with you or use a container with a pocket for each of the seven days of the week. Generally a bad idea based on greed.

"Fast acting" is the best description of Imodium, in any form. Plus, if not disease-related, one dose tends to do the job, so it's economical. If one or two doses don't do the trick then you'd best get to the doctor because something serious may be going on.

Use your softgel’s when I experience diarhea. They work 100%. One problem I have being. 79 year old senior with arthritis in both hands I can’t open the thick packaging and have to use scissors off pliers. Please make easier opening packaging for us seniors. Thank you.

The regular Imodium works great for me. Since I had part of my small intestine removed I rely on Imodium to stay under control. The softgels were a very bad experience. i took one softgel with a couple of other pills and the softgel ruptured. I had stinging in my throat and tears in my eyes. I tried flushing my mouth with water but it only helped a little. A couple of minutes later when I blew my nose again, the softgel case was ejected. No more softgels for me.

I stick to the liquid Imodium, although I carry the tablets in my purse. My husband and I are both retired, but we lead a very active life, including very long (over 200 miles sometims) motorcycle rides wherever we happen to be. I am in the habit of taking Imodium before we head out if I have any concerns at all. When I have a particulary big flare up, I will sometimes taken Imodium every other day, although I hate to do that because I will pay for it eventually with and uncharacteristic constipation. I do carry a bottle of Imodium in the tour back on the bike as well.

I love Imodium for my bowel issues but your packaging for the siftgels and caplets is terrible. Why isn't it available in bottles as it used to be? Those bluster packs are horrible. The one with the supposed slit to "tear here" can only be done with a scissors because the solution is almost non existent. Now where am I going to get scissors when I am out socializing or shopping. The other type where you have "bend back" the indicated corner? The corner often tears comes completely off and you are left needing a scissors again. Maybe you should read reviews on this packaging on various websites. This is more than a common complaint. The majority of people who use your product gave the same complaint. Wise up, people before you start to lose more customers. Put the pills in a recyclable bottle.

Product works great, but getting it out of package is the worst. Have to either cut open or keep folding and folding at "perforation". An elderly or person with hand issues will have difficulties opening. My wife cut her finger using the bend and tear method.

the tablet form is terrible.I saw you got complaints going back 4 years on your website and declined fixing the problem 4 years ago. This totally unacceptable whe you cant open the packet pushed through. if you use scissors you destroy the tablet. you ignore feedback and this is proof

Definitely a go-to when this problem occurs. I always carry one or two in my pill case as one never knows ... Works quickly and effectively, especially when traveling as I never know what crazy thing(s) I may eat or drink and how it'll affect my digestive system. You never want to have 'stomach' issues when traveling. (insert smiley face here)
