Imodium works well but the packaging of the oval shaped gel tabs makes it a major job to get the gel tab out of the packaging no matter how many times you fold and pull. If you can actually get the pill out don't set it down because it will roll right off the table because of its shape. I am very unhappy with the packaging of these pills and will never buy them again.

I love this product and use it often...BUT...WHY is the packaging so difficult to open...for both capsules and gels?!? You'd think it was a narcotic! I end up using scissors to cut it open. Granted, I am an older American, but I've never seen packaging so difficult. What are you afraid of?

I use your product a lot unfortunately. It is the best anti diarrhea medicine I’ve found. However, it takes a stick of dynamite to get the darn pills out of the blister packaging. Almost impossible to do unless you have scissors to cut the package or a sharp instrument to pierce it. I don’t always have scissors on me. Please fix this or make an easier option for those of us who cannot manage the current packaging. FYI, I have no dexterity issues and am fairly strong. For this reason I gave you only 1 star. 5 stars for the medication and -4 for the packaging.

This product truly is amazing and works fast . I had terrible diarrhea and was going to the bathroom every 10 minutes . A friend recommended i take this product before going to the emergency room . I took it and with in a hour the loose stool every 10 minutes stopped . I was so relieved . I would have given this product a 5 star but the packaging sucked and i had to find a knife just to open the packaging and ended up almost going to the bathroom on myself . The packaging needs to be user friendly .

I use Imodium a lot. It always helps me. It takes forever to open the package. Why don’t you sell it in a bottle? I looked at past reviews and this has been a problem for your years and you don’t seem to listen to your customers. I might have to purchase a different brand that is easier to open.

My 88 year old mother and I both need, and use, Imodium AD with good results. But her age and feebleness plus my painful, arthritic fingers make it extremely difficult to open the individual blister packages. I need to use a knife or scissors and often end up cutting the gel tabs! I've read numerous complaints regarding this exact problem and yet it doesn't seem that the manufacturer cares enough to put this product into an easy-to-open bottle. Would love to give this product a higher rating but won't strictly due to the poor packaging.

"Fast acting" is the best description of Imodium, in any form. Plus, if not disease-related, one dose tends to do the job, so it's economical. If one or two doses don't do the trick then you'd best get to the doctor because something serious may be going on.

I sent my daughter out to buy me some the night before I went to vegas. Well sure enough I got diarrhea away the casino. Was not able to open the dang things no matter how hard I tried! So they didn't do more much good! Would not recommend this product!

Imodium (loperamine) is the best product for controlling diarrhea but buy it in the tablet for that comes loose in a bottle. The tiny tablet is easier to swallow than the big rubbery gelcap and contains the same amount of the actual drug. And you don't have to use tools to extricate each gelcap from its hard-to-open sealed pocket. Putting this tiny drug into a big gelcap is just a marketing ploy; individually packaging gelcaps on cards in an unnecessary box may attract more attention on the sales shelf, and the naive consumer may think she is getting more for her money. Further, gelcaps will melt in a hot car and hog space if you carry basic meds and vitamins with you or use a container with a pocket for each of the seven days of the week. Generally a bad idea based on greed.

the tablet form is terrible.I saw you got complaints going back 4 years on your website and declined fixing the problem 4 years ago. This totally unacceptable whe you cant open the packet pushed through. if you use scissors you destroy the tablet. you ignore feedback and this is proof
