I have used turbotax for decades, and always bought either the premier or the deluxe version. I loved it because it was very convenient. This year again I purchased the deuxe edition with free federal and state return. Only to find out, when I was ready to file, it asked me to pay additional $25 for state filing. I never had to pay additional until this year! It is very deceiving and false advertising when you purchase the software thinking you are getting free efile

I used Turbo tax for several years and it is still my go-to solution. I prefer desktop version because of privacy and flexibility to use whenever I want to use. I don't like online version. However, I find this year's version is slower, sometimes change a page takes 20-30 seconds. Hope this can be fixed next year

Have used Turbo Tax for years and loved it. Since the product migrated to an online download, it has been loaded with issues. This year spent over 2 hours on the phone with Special Support, with ZERO results. They were pleasant, apologized many times, but even with their tech support added to the line, no results or resolution. I spent another 2 hours online searching for answers and FINALLY was able to resolve the problems with the software by accessing the program as Administrator and working through 'patches' and 'downloads'. Not sure I will use TurboTax in the future. It is a shame, as it used to be a reliable, quality product.

This is the most complicated process I have ever experienced when doing Turbo Tax. I lost the information because I didn't go to DeskTop and when I went "online" it kept asking me to input, wouldn't recognize the filing for 2024. It was a disaster. FINALLY, after asking for assistance with my computer people, trying to call, asking on-line, I figured it out. It was very stressful and was not easy.

I thought I was going to have a heck of a time because I read a bunch of reviews where some folks had issues with this software. I had zero issues, just make sure your operating system is compatible. I have a Mac with Sequoia 15.7.3 software and the whole process from downloading to filing my taxes was simple. 2 years ago I DID NOT read the specs and bought the software and could not load it on my Mac (I had an older operating system at the time), luckily I had a old Windows computer that I had to use, but not gonna lie, I was mad, but it was my fault because I did not read the fine print. Would definitely recommend this software especially if you have a Mac with Sequoia operating system.

Have used TurboTax for many many many years. Very disappointed this year after they got rid of the It'sDeductible feature. That was important to us and removing it caused much frustration, and much extra work that would not have been required in the past. May not need TT Deluxe in the future if this feature is not included.

I do not like online version as it does not show me my tax or credit in real time. I note in desktop version there is a typo on "Person on the Retun Worksheet" bookmark of the generated PDF, where r is missing from Return. Very surprised to see that from a well known company.

I have been a loyal Turbo Tax client for over 20 years, subscribing and paying every year. Your tool CLEARLY says "E-FILE FOR FREE". This year I notice that in addition to the fees for purchasing the tool I now have to pay an additional $40 to e-file because I get a refund. That is the definition of a misrepresentation. I wil be looking for tax tools elsewhere next year.

On the whole, I like Turbotax, but this year proved frustrating, primarily on the final step. As the person who prepares our taxes, I had applied for an IP Pin and received it. Then I found that there is no place to enter it on the final page - only a 5-space blank. Because my husband did not have an IP Pin, I could not use mine - I had to go back and delete my IP Pin in order to put my old Pin # on the form. Time wasted applying and deleting - in the end, I have no IP pin!

Simply put, three phone calls and each person with the exception of the third phone call were not helpful and simply appeared to not be interested in rendering help that one would expect from a helpline. I made mistakes with not retaining my return when I started with a new computer. but the lack of guidance was grossly incompetent. A simple review that I was able to determine by working through the process would have yielded the solution. Instead, each person, with the exception of the third call, appeared to being more interested in getting me off the helpline.
