I've been using TT for many years with the desktop version on various versions of Windows and this the first time that I can remember, that the importing of data from various financial institutions would not work. In researching this, Intuit had no answer just "manually enter data" which is a real pain with financial records. What ever Intuit did to break this, needs to get fixed for next year.

TurboTax handling of HSA excess contribution, removal, 1099-SA is utterly confusing and wrong. Sometimes 'last year' refers to 2024, and in other places 2025. TT adds to income even when excess contribution had been withdrawn prior to tax filing deadline of the previous year, and tax on that had already been paid in the previous year. I had to manually fix the form. A small item like this held up my progress unduly in completing the tax return.

Frustrating that I was not able to opt out of e-file for a state return this year because last year I had e-filed a return for my daughter. There was no way around this other than the inconvenience of calling Turbo Tax customer services and having to go through an ordeal to mail my state return. FIX THIS.

At the beginning, tell me what documents I need (credit card numbers, driver's license numbers, etc. Also, since you only now support Windows 11, I never found a way to utilize the info from my prior returns. As a result, it took much longer to file my returns electronically than if I just printed it and wrote a check,

Since the software will not accept a Payer's Federal ID No. of 00-0000000 the product is useless to me. Due to that issue, I will incur an out of state travel to get forms signed and mailed to meet submittal date. This will be the last year I use turbo tax!

This years product design is bad. Using the box approach has led to mistakes. Last years program was better. Any downloads from financial houses led to double entries if one was not careful. Wells Fargo was terrible since each entry had to be redone for each step.

Your search function sucked. It was difficult to access and wasted a lot of time. My State return could not possibly be correct- there's no way I paid $12,000m in State taxes. I filed for an extension instead.. Turbo Tax failed me this year-I won't be using it again

Over the years I've discovered Turbo Tax is easy to use and accurate. Just remember to read the questions carefully and answer honestly. This software is compatible with my life style and the features it offers combined with the guidance provided is worth the minor investment to pay for the software. I use a MacBook Pro and the interface worked perfectly.

This was my first year to use Turbo Tax. I found it hard to find and review the income items (1099div) that I entered myself. The ones automatically imported were easily found. If I did the entries correctly, this product will be a big money saver compared to what my accountant charged. :-)
