I found this year's Turbo Tax to be easy to use. Much easier than previous years. Just so disappointed yu chose to stop supporting Windows 10. I had to go buy a new computer just to do my taxes. That should be tax deductible. I love Windows 10. Windows 11 not so much.

I HAVE NOW HAD TO TRANSMIT MY EFILE THREE TIMES. I ENTERED A WRONG AMOUnt in the AGI, but when I corrected it it did not save in the form and ended up having a second rejection from the IRS.I resubmitted a third time and double checked the AGI hopefully it does not get rejected again.

While it's better than HR Block for sure, but there were some quirks. It failed to import last year's HR Block return in .pdf form. It offered to upgrade me from Deluxe desktop to Premium online, but the online version seemed minimal with missing features. I went back to the desktop version. Sched D was not in the forms. I did find the Capital Loss Carryover and then Sched D was available. I DO NOT like getting the state return, but not being able to file the state return without a $25 fee. That's misleading and greedy.

I have used Turbo Tax for multiple years (10+ years) and never had an issue. Last year i made a mistake and went with a different tax filing company and was severely disappointed. I tried to save a couple bucks by trying a different product and i paid for it in the end. I will allows be a Turbo Tax customer for now on.

Have been using Turbo Tax for many years now. This year I had a problem with the desktop TurboTax after a state return download which was not performing correctly. Subsequent to the state download I was not able load the Turbo Tax return at all. After many attempts to uninstall and reinstThanksalling the program without any success the help assistant sent me a link to TT community and i found the responses to similar situations with the correction I needed to make, which was to repair the Microsoft Visual C++ program. Once completed I was able to open TT and when I went to reinstall the state return program I saw that it had a repair patch on the program. Thankfully my return was still intact and I quickly filed my return. Thanks TurboTax!!!!

I've never run into the issues I've experienced this tax season. In the past, once your itemized deductions amount were greater than the standard deduction, the program automatically used the larger number in computing the overall taxable income amount. The handling of State return has issues related to the reporting of school tuition contributions. The system believes that everyone is making contributions to schools. You can't get through the review process for the state forms without putting something in the various boxes.

All went smoothly with the deluxe version, including ability to file a K1 form and sales of securities. One minor problem, it was hard to figure out how print just the forms that were actually filed. I tried several things, all of which wanted to print all 79 pages including worksheets and other info. Not sure who would want to print all of that, finally found what I was looking for in File -> Print... This was easy to find in past years, would recommend not hiding it as it appears for 2025.

I have been using Turbo Tax Deluxe for decades and I have always itemized which is why I purchase Turbo Tax and have always found it to be thorough and helpful in guiding me through the process. However, for the 2025 tax year, I only found out after purchasing the software download that Intuit has eliminated the It's Deductible feature of the program. If I had known it was no longer part of the software, I would not have purchased it. I have found the It's Deductible feature an invaluable tool for many years. It was comprehensive and I always felt confident that I was valuing my donations correctly. I had no idea it was eliminated until I got to that section and the program asked me to enter the value of my donations!! This left me scrambling for resources online. I was of course guided to apps that were for a fee, which was extremely irritating because I thought when I purchase Turbo Tax, it was part of the price. Now I have to pay more money for a separate app??? No thank you!! Needless to say the level of disappointment and betrayal I feel over the elimination of It's deductible is so great that I have resolved to NOT purchase Turbo Tax next year or possibly ever again. Like I said I have used TT for many years and I think I'm officially done with it!! If you decide to reinstate it, you better make a HUGE announcement about it, because I won't be seeking it out.

Accuracy: when considering state & local taxes, I found the Federal online calculator gave different results Compatibility NA as I did not use any other programs in association with TT Features ?? I do not understand this; I found the program confusing; always have Guidance - see Accuracy Interface ??

I have used TurboTax for federal and state filings for 7 years. Great product, it asks enough questions to safely guide you through the process. I used to have someone prepare my taxes, and it cost big bucks. I wished I had learned to use Turbo tax many years. Thanks again for a great product.
