It is difficult to work with sometimes. You keep pushing for state e-filing even when I don't want to do it. The Colorado HCTC contribution on the DR CR form calls for the contribution rather than the credit amount which is 25% of the contribution. Also, tried to eliminate the voluntary charitable contribution that I was going to make, but then changed my mind. The system wouldn't let me eliminate it. It is also difficult to navigate the system, more so than it used to be. Your terms and conditions are typical of the difficulty of living with the system.

I have used TurboTax for many years. The last few years I have done standard deduction. Each year you make it more complicated. Please fix this. Please quit trying to sell me thing and stop doing it after I say no. I'm this continues I am going to pay someone else to do my taxes.

I've been using TurboTax to prepare my taxes for as long as taxes were available to be prepared from a PC. I have never had a reason to doubt the accuracy of my return, nor reason to doubt the integrity of the product. The advantage program and overall navigation of the website is brutally poor. The website is geared towards completing your return online and purchasing the upsell of assistance with your taxes. Add in the repeated attempt to upsell the audit defense and I'm so tempted to take another approach to my taxes next year. I am purchasing a license for the preparation of my taxes, I am not using the website and filing for free. Intuit should respect the fact that I'm already spending money for the license and give me the option to purchase assistance and/or audit insurance once, and only once. Not multiple times during the preparation of my taxes. This stuff is stressful enough without feeling like the company that I've already spent money with is trying to find any excuse/method to squeeze another $60 dollars out of me. Add into the frustration of the upsell is the trainwreck of their advantage subscription service. I have an intuit account that reflects that I've purchased some manner of tax prep software from Intuit/TurboTax back to 2018. I've been enrolled in the advantage plan since it was debuted. You get a notification that they will charge you for the product, but never provide you with an activation key, which is required for operation of the program. If it's up against tax time and you are struggling to figure out how to get this important info and purchase another copy of the exact same software, from your logged-in account, there is absolutely nothing that prompts you to activate the copy you've already paid for, it just takes your payment. Should the credit card that is on file for your advantage program expire, you get a handy email that this has happened. When you login to correct this condition, it saves your info, but doesn't necessarily process your payment for the current tax year. When you realize that this has happened and purchase the stand-alone product, your account does not have a valid form of payment on file. Even though that condition was rectified 15 minutes ago! I just really expect a professional software developer/ retailer to have their act together a bit better than this. But, at least they give me 6-8 opportunities to upsell tax advice during the process of filing my taxes!

Been using Turbo Tax for decades, and will not use anything less. This is truly excellent software. I started back in the 1970's before the company was Turbo Tax. I forget the name now but the colors were green and yellow. Once it became Turbo Tax it got better and better until what we have now. Accuracy, comprehensive, and organized. The error check feature is outstanding! Thanks for decades of simplicity with accuracy.

Extremely annoying that every time Microsoft updates their operating system, I have to buy a new computer to use TurboTax....this may be the last time I buy TurboTax after all these years. I avoid filling out important docs on a web-based platform so will not use TurboTax online. Seems TurboTax has built-in popups now which is even more annoying. Just can't leave well enough alone, I guess.

I use TurboTax every year. I only have SSA income, IRA redemptions, and some simple dividends and capital gains. In addition, I file my taxes using the standard deduction. Finally, I have filed my own taxes for many years. I am very comfortable filing on my own without assistance. For tax year 2025, I used the Windows 11 desktop version of TurboTax Deluxe.

Turbo Tax at one time was an excellent way to file taxes. It has become a repository of sales pitches. Once easy to use, the program does not make it easy to correct rejected returns. It once did. Lots of screen prompts which lead to useless and dead-end solutions. I'm not a new to this program, well over a decade of use.

Pre-paid subscriptions are good but getting the billing or credit applied to the actual filing is disconnected. We paid via email our 2025 download but had to interface with live agent to get accounting straightened out. Even with that done, when performing the E-File steps, it appears we did not get credit for the one state filing included. Now we have to investigate this issue. Confusing and time consuming!

I went to sign up for the free audit coverage but the part of the screen at the bottom where it shows to submit, or next, or whatever doesn't show. It is too far down and I can't see it. Therefore I could not submit. And verification of address, phone had the same problem. It was not a matter of scrolling down.

Miserable, use Deluxe since 1997,completed join federal return Apr 14, 2026 and Apr 15 file was corrupted, none of the two saved copies worked, made me enter the whole data again, I know now this is an old flaw but I keep using it out of habit, probably the last time. Plus the abuse of imposing windows 11 on users. Maybe this ongoing corrupt file issue is intentionally caused or perpetuated. And no lawsuits yet on this reckless Intuit ?
