I love this product. I can't imagine using any other tool to file my tax returns. With that stated, I do have an issue with the programming. It seems as though every year during the final reviews prior to filing, that an erroneous item pops up and require attention. This year it was demanding that I provideEmployer information for Schedule UE(unreimbursed job expenses). This obviously made no sense as neither my wife or I were employed at all. Consequently, I had to enter "dummy" data to satisfy the program and enable filing. This seems to happen nearly every year. It's not always the same issue, but always something annoying like this.

Over the past few years there have been situations where I have been able to access the forms and edit them. This year there was an issue with the Canadian Pension. Even though I kept clicking NO it asked for info. I think that finally got fixed. I found it very frustrating.

We had two issues for the 2025 tax season. 1. The March 18th update was problematic, so I had to completely uninstall the Windows application - and then re-install from scratch. 2. The importing from previous tax year's files showed a crazy spinning icon which took forever to complete. Please remove the time-wasting spinning icon that took considerable time to complete - and I could not move forward without it completing its function.

this year last year returns where not transfered , had to start all returns wirhout last year returns in the middle of return turbo tax ask to update new items would not allow me continue the return. took 10 times to loan the new updates before i could the return

this year seemed to me be much cumbersome than years past. for example, when asked if we had lived or received wages in a foreign country and answered no you then asked how much we earned. i went back several times to see if i marked something wrong which i did not. then i went back and started over on that section. there was another area that was cumbersome which i can't remember. i have used turbo for several years and this was the most difficult. a friend was asking me if i had problems at the time i had not started but i afterwards i did call and agreed.

My navigation throughout the process was easy! I applaud Turbo Tax for their accuracy and expertise. And I just signed up for their Tax Advantage program which automatically emails a downloadable product in November which includes additional features for free!

Every year we've used TurboTax Deluxe it's been easy to use, guides us through the process, picks up the information from the previous year which is convenient. The accuracy of the program is also comforting knowing the tax forms are submitted correctly.

I feel software was designed to force the user to upgrade or seek assistance when using. The help section could be designed to actually help or inform the majority of users with responses related to typical tax questions as opposed to the seemingly comprehensive lists designed for experts. I'm saying the help section is not helpful for the majority of users.

I have been using for 20+ years. All excellent. I don't know what happened to the 2025 version. Full of changes causing glitches; I answered all questions and the answers were not populated on certain Forms 8606. The IRA/RMD calculations were not clear, etc., etc. It took me more than twice as long to be able to complete and finish. I was not a happy camper. Did Intuit respond nationally to explain what happened? I am wondering if 2026 will be the same. I may be trying out another service if Intuit doesn't explain what happened to all it's users. Thank you.

Overall very satisfied. Did have to contact TT support because we did not itemize the federal return but did have a donation over $500 requiring Form 8283 in the California return where we did itemize. The tech was helpful and suggested importing the form for the state return. However, I found I was not able to do so because I don't have the software for the proper document type. However, on my own I discovered TT help text saying California would not require the form in our situation.
