It's a little clumsy in the MAC version. I couldn't always tell what it was doing. Not the the Windows version. In addition, I only wanted to print the paperwork that actually had to be filed (e.g. if I mailed it in) but the program made me print all 35 pages. That never happened in my previous returns and I've been using Turbotax since 2015. Overall, I'm not thrilled with this year's version. In addition, I have informed you several times of the need to have the program automatically ask for and IP Pin if one is issued from the IRS. The program still fails to do so. I had to go to the help screen to find that.

I had listed my Connecticut State Income Tax refund when I did my income on the Federal Return; however, it was not carried over to my Connecticut State Tax Return! Also on the File by Mail Instructions for your 2025 Connecticut Tax Return (Page 1) it says write "2025 Form CT-1040" on the check. On the next page Form CT-1040 Required Fields, #11 it says write "2022 Form CT-1040"

Guidance incorrect on result of Student loan interest deduction. When I was finished with the section, TurboTax advised that "It looks like Aimee (my daughter who is at College) does not qualify" yet the reasons provided in the "Here's Why" is incorrect: "- Somebody can claim Aimee as a dependent. . " (no, no one else can!), and " - There were no net qualified Education expense" (which there should have been), whereas the ACTUAL reason was my earnings were $180,201, just over the income limit for the deduction/credit.

Really not happy that TurboTax discontinued the itemization feature of donations. It used to be simple to enter all items and proceed. We had to use a third party accounting software to track everything and upon importing it still produced lots of errors.

Turbotax desktop is great I use it every year. This year I thought I would try turbo tax online, well I switched back to the desktop halfway through my taxes. I was having issues with it not allowing me to click on things and then not letting proceed. So the desktop version id defiantly the way to go for me.

The software was easy to understand and use for the quick completion of my return. If I am paying for the purchase a product, I should not see advertisements within that product. Attempts to upsell the product, or advertisements for other products by the same company within the software that I purchased are not appreciated.

The online experience was awful; I got all the way to the end and then a glitch prevented me from being able to complete e-filing. I had to do it all over again using the desktop version, which is what I usually use. I will never use the online version again.

I use Turbotax every year and I appreciate many things about it. It is easy and intuitive to use. The only thing I would suggest to improve is filing the state taxes after federal is not inuitive. You have to go into the taxes all over again even though it says it's complete.

I HAVE BEEN DOING TURBO TAX FOR ALOT OF YEARS AND I ALWAYS DO FIVE,. MINE, MY BROTHER, MY NEPHEW , MY DAUGHTERS. AND SON INLAWS THIS YEAR I HAVE ONLY FILED 3 AND HAVE 2 MORE TO GO AND WAS TOLD I COULD NOT EFILE ANYMORE THAT I HAD ALREADY REACHED MY 5. I HAVE 2 MORE. IF THIS IS WHAT IS GONNA HAPPEN I WILL NOT DO TURBO TAX ANYMORE.

Overall, I like Turbotax for its general ease of use. This year though I had many system issues....the 2024 file would not transfer over. The online support was limited and difficult to use and I found better help by googling my questions I also need the ability to easily zoom in on the text to make it more easily read
