I was frustrated on several occasions with my Turbo Tax experience this year. I had to call CS because you let me download the software without paying for it, but required an access code to use, that I then had no option to pay to get. I tried the online version first and could not get some screens to resize so I could enter information because the enter button was at the bottom and I couldn't see/access it. I had the feeling that real people did not vet this software before sending out into the world. I will have to decide next year if the trouble I had is worth the satisfaction of doing my taxes myself.

I appreciate the flow and directions of the TurboTax program. If the tax filer takes the time to read the instructions and carefully fill in the data, he should be able to successfully file his return. My main request is that you don't change up the program from year to year. A few small changes are fine, but big format changes are confusing. Thanks.

I have used turbo tax software for many years and I found that the 2025 turbo tax is not as smooth as what I used in the past. For example, the New York state estimated tax (for 2026) set up was not well developed. I have tried to fix the problem but spent great deal of time. Help support is another issue from turbo tax. I got no help for my questions although a lot of info provided. I believe the problem was something changed in the program by turbo tax but it take a lot of time figure out and understand the way what turbo tax think is a normal for the users to follow.

Soo many issues! Could not use the computer I have used with all my files on it as it is no longer compatible, needs windows 11. My desired computer did not have the specs to upgrade. Nothing on the packaging stated Windows 11 REQUIRED. Wouldn't allow me to enter W2, had update. After that was fixed, an hour later could not continue again until I updated it. I updated, then it required another update, so, I had to walk away. It took 3 days, as I had to update the program at least 6 times. I also had to get info from my other computer from last year's taxes as I could not use that computer. I was also charged an additional $40 to process the returns and $15 to file for state!!! What WHY! I bought the program and is supposed to have free state! TurboTax was a company I had great experiences with and would recommend. NOT ANY MORE! Hidden fees and costs. Product that you have to update 6 times or more in 3 days, and this is over the weekend! The government is not changing things over the weekend. I will not use your online service, my wife does not feel it is secure entering the information while online. Ripp-off and Scam artist, all your integrity is lost!

Generally excellent, although this year TurboTax incorrectly calculated my California Tax Liability! Even after updating the software with all updates today, there is no correction. Guaranteed?? So, now I have received Cal FTB 5818A ENS letter notifying me that I overpaid the amount due and in fact, my CA state income tax liability was $0 for the 2025 yeay

Product calculations are accurate and the interface is easy to use. It is annoying the continuous popups trying to trick you into buying personal advisor ($60), insurance protection ($45), or State filing ($45) when it is not required in my state. Be CAREFUL not to unintentionally select them!

TurboTax has always been great. This year your updates do not work requiring me to unhook from my internet to continue. In looking online it appears that this is a problem for many if not all users. I have a current computer with Windows 11 but get a failed update every time.

Over priced for value/utility received. Default user interface and experience is horrible, despite having been on the market for many years. Design has a seemingly deliberate lack of obvious features that would improve use/experience and little to no user control through settings/preference adjustments. The process for correcting errors, when flagged, is ridiculously devoid of necessary context or information needed to understand and correct the error. Want more detailed feedback? Pay me.

I am super disappointed with Turbo Tax this year. Removing the its deductible feature has left me looking for other companies to use and recommend. I used to tell clients and friends that TurboTax was the way to go. The importing of data is horrible and the deduction feature not even being an addable upgrade? I paid $30 for another company to use. You are blowing it

The accuracy was perfect, all imported data was exactly what was shown. This version of TurboTax is the best yet in terms of ease of use. The process to download the software to my machine was a little confusing. Step by step instructions would be useful for those who do not download software frequently. The guidance through each section of the process is excellent and facilitates minimizing taxes due. The only reason I did not give five stars was because there were numerous times the software was "Not Responding" taking several minutes to come back.
